  1. both of my server locations - 1 hosting 10 servers, and the other hosting the other 15 servers to create the 5x5 were not using the same server grid. The IP's were changed in one of the files to the previous machine we used. Hence i figured it out. Just make sure your servers are using the same server grid file and redis config.
  2. Currently I have 2 dedicated servers hosting a 5x5, half one one machine, the rest on the second. How do I connect the grid to the other properly? Do i need Redis running on both servers? If so, Do i need to run one as a slave and and one as master? how would I do this? Thanks for any responses in advance
  3. Sorry guys, Just read these posts. We finally got around to making one of our own 5x5s with powerstones/ships/bosses. Ty for the replies.
  4. Im looking for someone who can build a couple maps for me. Willing to pay fair rate for completion. The maps should be a 3x3 and a 5x5. Im only worried about powerstones and quest content and/or islands that go with these requests, i am able to fill in the rest and finish the servers details. Please message me if you are able to do this.
  5. yes you can. Before you do anything, I would edit the locks and make sure all islands/discovery zones/ship paths are locked just in case you mis-click. I've changed / moved around discovery zones / custom datas / templates for grids and it doesnt hurt the save, consider them just like server settings. When you start moving islands around thats when you will get into trouble.
  6. under the server settings section in the servers game.ini. Take note when you do this you also allow other clans to build on your claim territory.
  7. use the admin commands to destroy all structures and destroy all tamed dinos. too easy.
  8. I think I speak for the general populus when I say: What are you talking about?
  9. I myself run a private server so that my community can enjoy the rates we all decide on. If you want specific rates there is a private server out there willing to use them. Some of us however have day jobs and don't have the time it takes to gather on official rates just to enjoy the game. Instead of talking down about growing communities choices in server rates, why don't you try and run your own private server. You spend the money required to run the servers, and take the time to manage them yourself. Just because private server owners decide to modify their rates in a manner that doesn't please you, doesn't make them all crap, it makes them unique in the way each private server manage's their communities. Thats the point of a private server. But then again, if you don't like it, start up your own server and do as you please or go back to playing on official servers where griefers and massive companies run the servers and control your gameplay.
  10. Out of curiousity I checked up on this and, actually, the group that runs the other site has their hands in most private game server listings and have done so for years now, I hate to say it but your website was actually created 2 days after atlasserverlist.com. Verified with - https://websiteseochecker.com. Love the tool though!
  11. Any private server you join will have a seperate character file that won't be connected to any other server, so yes. Each private server you will have a seperate character.
  12. Or maybe Nitrado should have given Wildcard credit after copying and pasting a list of in game commands straight off the gamepedia website? Nitrado copies everything off of the gamepedia you Silly Social Justice Warrior. Why not go after them also? Seems like a fitting thing to do, or do you just clam up at this point once you realize you made a fool out of yourself? Funny part about that is this ---- ALL GAME SERVER HOSTS DO THIS!
  13. Same boat here InitializeClaimFlagTotals seems to pop up as the first error every time. 1 out of 4 servers in my current grid. Afraid to wipe if its somehow fixable
  14. I use Arkon, works great and haven't had an issue. You can set up each grids rcon settings up into it or do like I did, and make 4 seperate folders containing arkon, and created a seperate one for each server http://rusty.sadface.co.uk/download/ARKon/ARKon.zip
  15. The ships are not considered Dinos, this is where everyone is getting the wrong idea. They are Rafts like Ark. You can increase/decrease the amount of structures that can be built on them, however what Ark never did was increase the weight that can be carried on a Raft. Ark never had a setting like that since you were pretty much stuck when you hit your inventory slot cap. There might be a setting for this, but Im leaning towards this being hardcoded.
  16. Actually I host everything i have on a dedicated also, I assumed you were on a VM host. But either option works if you have the spot to host the images. The latest version of the server grid editor fixes this issue anyhow so you shouldn't have the problem anymore.
  17. Im confused, are you asking how big the servers are? How big a dedicated server is? If you are renting a small server setup, and you want the full map... then you need a large dedicated server or group of servers to host a 15x15 grid which is 225 servers, 1 Map grid = 1 Game Server. If you're renting a server such as this one, then you will never see the full content you would on an official server.
  18. The fact of the matter is this: You paid 25$ for this game after a 17% off purchase price sale on initial release. You knew it was early access. You know early access games all have cry baby complaints like yours this early into release. They are still putting much time into the development phase and are working hard on fixing issues that matter and yet you act like they've tried to pass this thing off as complete. After the game has been released for 10 days it seems to me like you demanded perfection by day 2. Your technical expertise means nothing when the only thing they know of you is your youtube videos knocking them down. You do not work for them, so there fore your 'advice' is meaningless. Do us all a favor, and play the patient and humble role and just enjoy what works, otherwise some random guy like me will never subscribe to videos like this. Oh and btw, Merry Christmas & have a happy new year. I wonder how much time the dev's spent on this game instead of with their families between dec 19th until now. Children like you are the reason why we have things like 'child safe - slip handles' on door knobs and nutrition labels.
  19. You need to set an admin password... that is your rcon password also.
  20. Okay, I think you are missing a few things here. The thread that I posted will tell you how to fix this issue. Change: "MetaWorldURL": "http://atlasdedicated.com/xkvLAefEmYagICAfkDqknUIceSobwBma/ServerGrid" "MapImageURL": "http://arkdedicated.com/atlaspreview.jpg" to this: "MetaWorldURL": "" "MapImageURL": "" Again, check the thread above... You need to download the latest grid editor and resave/reupload your map images. The links in the image urls are for official servers, not private servers. There is a way to set your map images elsewhere, however... just leave them blank its an extra step you dont need to take. The servergrid editor had an issue where it was saving the images in a *.png format, the server needs them to be in *.jpg format. Its as simple as changing the file extensions.
