Lawless resource spawn is going back to the was it was pre v10. Huzzzah!

No bp. I just counted, I have 40 wooden doors in windows and doorways on base and ships, including the one I destroyed. There may have been others, prob not many if any. The recipe is blue in my crafting menu, I click on it, or select an option and nothing happens.

Right now (the beginning of peak time) there are 2 people on my server, about to be 1. This time Monday (before v10) there were 19-21 average. Just an observation.

Oh, I hear ya'. "Mod kit later this week", "update in 30 minutes (20 minutes later), update in 30 minutes...", "v10 out tomorrow (tomorrow) out tomorrow...", et cetera.

Yes, I have crocs too. All I can say is, excepting when they spawn on you, be aware of your surroundings, your stamina, weight and escape routes. Use your ears and your eyes, I almost always hear snakes before I can see them. Even then, sometimes you'll get caught out. I agree balance needs a lot of work, but work with what you've got.

If they are trying to get rid of solos it is quite the turn...

@Jatheishhow about just give it to us straight? What is the intended purpose of the lawless areas? We know that they were changed to be used as spawn area to help with the freeport server spawn @launch problem, but what were they before you made that change and what is the desired result of the resource spawn nerf? And from an aesthetic standpoint this... looks much better than this...

Stone arrows, plate and a bit of room and 3-4 snakes (not alpha) shouldn't be a problem. I have 10 in fort and can get bit 3 times, kill them and still make it back in the house if I need to. If you're lucky, 2 headshots is all it takes per snake. If you do meet an alpha two fire arrows will do the trick.

If they're already trying to cut running expenses it can't be a good sign. And they're only gaining if people are buying, and looking at steam reviews and the word on the street, that's not happening in any meaningful way.

Let's see. Most people have to return from winter holidays shortly after the new year (sometime last week). The drop in the chart starts on the 7th. The peak times I'm seeing are at 4-5 EST (the same peak times as during the holidays), considering it includes EU servers, that would mean that the majority of players are home from work assuming they work average working hours. So even taking work into account, they should still be playing if satisfied with the game in it's current state. But I guess you didn't think about that.

What I know is that people build things around me, then a ship and leave. I watch their timers so I can destroy their stuff as soon as possible. If they come back, it resets. Not sure about other side of the island stuff.
