Oh im sure when they implement the new claim system and having to pay upkeep or whatever gonna be a whole lotta land coming up for grabs. People are lazy afterall. Most people aren't gonna wanna run to each flag they toss down to maintain it.

I avoid lawless servers like they have the black plague. My ships have gotten stuck on non rendering docks, the lag is so intense when I try to go on an island. I'd rather pay tax or go to a freeport.

Still tons of them in groups. Either numbers need to be reduced on them or we need a force respawn of wild critters when the servers reboot.

Uhhh we ran across so many whales in 13, 14, and 15 zones. Both passive and aggressive. I lost my brig over the weekend to get rammed by 2 mean whales and 5 sotds at once. N13, N14, N15, O13, 15, A14, 15, etc.

Seeing as the flags are all screwed up and making it near impossible for new people to find land. Lawless zones are atrocious. I go there if I absolutely have to but the lag is insane. I was in A11 last night with only 20 people and I was rubberbanding like crazy. Maybe you should add in some small/tiny islands with housing/dock rental space for gold. You could rent houses in Everquest. I know it was tried again in Dark and Light. Can make some cute merchant trading towns. It might breathe some life back into the game. Otherwise with the current flag system of waiting 20 days to maybe get a piece of land. Well if I was a new player and drove around and found nothing but had to wait several weeks for a claim. I'd be finding a new game to play.

So this is my first time doing the FOY. I restarted my character last age 90. This has to be the stupidest "quest" I've ever encountered. So its in a tiny cave with tons of animal spawns that make it near impossible to even reach it. Wouldn't be so bad if they put it outside the power stone cave. Right now with the amount of people trying to get to it and the bottleneck it's just stupid. No animals should spawn near the fountain of youth. This is like my 30th death and i'm still age 90. Elixir on a merchant. I'd gladly shell out 5-10k to go back to age 20. Once breeding is implemented I never intend to do this retarded quest again.

We are getting griefed by 2 companies. They are dragging in SoTD's that are destroying bases and ships. Galleons, Brigs, Schooners, and stone bases are all getting destroyed by them. One company is Mumu Mu?? and the other is ????????. Legacy Trading and Drunken Cowboys/Company of Skeazy Rascal for sure have gotten hit by this.

I've got one sitting outside where im trying to build also. Their claim has been taken over already. Just this annoying raft that's parked and taking forever to decay. I could see if it was a larger ship. but a raft taking this long is nuts.

Treasure maps are great and a lot of fun to do. The discovery system....Running around islands blindly trying ot find a needle in a haystack isn't so fun. Would be nice to have dots on the map/beacon of some nature where the locations are at instead of the time sink of running around looking for nothing.

Something really need to be done about this Alpha Hunters have dropped a good 50 foundations/pillars in J10 on NA PVE and several other grids. Rapid decay on single foundations/pillars would solve this problem. Huge drop in Elephant and Rhino spawns since they bombed the place. They don't even have a building over here.

We've had them die on Brigs and Galleons too. Bears, Elephants, Rhinos etc. Same thing. Go to move and they disappear and die.

Half size large gates/medium gate large enough that an elephant and rhino can go through only 4 walls high/3 walls wide. Also elevator platform that makes it easier to transport an elephant up and down. I'd love to be able to go on to the elevator and not have my elephant clip and fall down constantly. Drawbridge would just be epic. Not as tall as a large gate please. The large gates are quite obnoxious on land.

Lucky yours you could see. Mine just vanished when I went to put it on the brig. Use the spyglass and try to use T to whistle it to ya? Oh but thank you for reminding me. I was gonna go check to see if mine returned after reboot.

I tried to make proper walls. So the walls don't clip in the ground properly on incline/declines. Even halfwalls won't go in. It looks totally trailer trash. Ended up ripping it all down cause I couldn't stand the sight of it. I've spent the entire day trying to make an animal barn. But hey I have 2k paste now.

Lol I know. I just burned thru 20k thatch doing a layout for an animal garage. Gotta sail and im kinda waiting to see what they wanna do before I go get Elephant #4 and more thatch.

I dunno I think I got lucky yesterday. I ran across a buncha sugar that I could harvest. Was on my way to get fiber anyways. To reduce weight on my schooner I just sat there and crafted a bunch as I sailed. But still just doing those 2 things alone since where I live doesn't have a lot of fiber nor Sap in any of its forms. That's several hours of traveling to make organic paste.

Not just the paste hon. You need metal too. Not all islands have an abundance and metal is heavy to carry.

Oh man I ran across one island on NA PVE think it was J8 /k8 or something. It was covered from front to back in wood foundations. We were elephant hunting. Was terrible. They really need to put a rapid decay on single foundtions.
