Trying to climb the rear emergency ladder on any ship most of the time only gives me the company rank prompt for E instead of climbing it, making it really hard to get up. Can this be fixed? Thanks!

I seriously dont understand why so many Chinese people are doing this. I literally just want to enjoy the game and have fun and not worry about pvp and I do nothing to these people and they are STILL looking for every single tiny exploit possible...they are not even progressing or actually playing the game. It is heartbreaking and I need answers. What do they gain from this? Is there a reason? I would very much appreciate it if anyone knows the reason, "cultural differences" doesnt really seem like an answer to me.

With last nights update, a lot more land on my island became available and now I have a ton of space on a great, chill island with space for shipyards and whatever you need. I just want to help people get started who want to play the game for the long run like us. My company is me and a couple friends that just enjoy being on and doing whatever random shenanigans the game has to offer. Hey all, we had a big area on our beach not respawn for a long time, I had placed a buoy down while they were broken accidentally, and I kinda figured it was just leftover effect from that bug, wasnt really a big deal, but as soon as we deleted the random tiny shipyard we had trees started popping up in a previously barren area, and it was a pretty large area. Not sure if this is intended or a bug, but if you are running into a similar issue and have a tiny shipyard I would suggest demolishing it.

We are a 3 man company that has been playing since day 1. We have a bit of land established in one of the desert squares on NA PVE, its a nice small little island with plenty of resources and hardly any predators. I've been hesitant because I would really like to make sure who we are letting build is mature and friendly, as there have been way too many hostile people on PVE (and quitters). We really want to help people who want to play the game but are having problems finding a claim. We have enough space to let someone else build a base, and we keep our taxes low (though I think if you are in an alliance you wont have to pay them, we can work that out). STOP. KEEPING. FULL. CREW. ON. THE. FUCKING. SHIP. theres literally no way someone can sink a galleon on pve if you dont have crew on it

I would like to suggest a recruitment sub for the PvE forums. Not only for company recruitment, but also for inviting other companies to build on your land. I think it will help people tremendously in finding a spot to call home, even if it is on someone else's claim. I feel this method will help filter it better, so instead of hoping you don't get invited by some big douchey 30% tax company, and can make sure whoever you are going to live next to is chill. I also think in this sub, people should be able to post looking for land ads as well. This way both sides can be actively looking and it will speed up the process. Too many people are out there searching for a place to build, and I think we need an official way for them to easily find a spot to go directly to and actually experience the game.

This is intentional, ships are supposed to degrade fast in free ports so you dont linger.

Another day, more turf war. Still spending ALL my freaking time in PvE defending my claims from people. My original claim flags are not refreshing. If I have to remove my flag to replace it, I'm not going to be able to replace it because of the proximity of other peoples claims near mine. What gives.

Don't know how you haven't noticed but right now the PvE is still basically PvP. Players are sinking other players ships by weighing them down, and claim flags can be stolen from active companies while they are inside of them.

DO NOT REARRANGE YOUR FLAGS. YOU STILL MUST SLEEP INSIDE CLAIMS TO KEEP THEM. TIMER STILL DOES NOT RESET FROM BEING ACTIVE IN CLAIM. I find it utterly ridiculous that this patch did nothing, and I'm literally spending my time on a PvE server defending my territory from griefers and trolls. I am so okay with literally any other problem, just not TROLLS. Devs, if you read this, I am on my knees begging you, I love this game to death and won't stop playing it, but I WANT TO EXPERIENCE IT, PLEASE fix this issue.

I placed a buoy about a week or so when they were broken, deleted it about 10min later after finding out they were broken, and the spawns never fixed themselves. this beach used to have trees, tons of salt/nitre/stones, even metal nodes, and now it seems like it wants to respawn everything, as the occasional single tree will pop up, but its not. no structures nearby. any fix for this or should I continue to wait it out? thanks.

those people probably did something weird, our 2 flags that overlap over our base where we sleep have been completely unaffected.

whats happening is the 3 day timer doesnt reset when you come online. Therefore after 3 days, if nobody from the company is in the flag its considered inactive. Its ridiculous.

you people are ridiculous. the flag system is supposed to be, IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR TRIBE ARE OFFLINE FOR 3 DAYS, YOUR FLAG CAN BE CONTESTED. The fact that flags can be stolen from ACTIVE people is an exploit. Chinese companies OR trolls pretending to be Chinese are literally just going from island to island throwing down ANY claim flags they can. I have been okay with so much bull shit, but unlike Ark this is an actual MMO with a NON-VIABLE unofficial server system. If they don't do something about it, they are going to lose this game fast.

I planted a buoy in the water and found out after that they break spawns, now nothing respawns in my entire territory. I removed the buoy not long after i put it down but it still didnt fix anything. Is there some workaround to this or is anything being worked on to get it fixed?

if its possible, we are immediately building a schooner with cannons and going hunting. i'm tired of my third sloop being landlocked.

Was on my second sloop after my first one got one shotted by a lvl 2 manta ray. Sailing through D5 and made it to an island, dodging about 5 or 6 ghost ships on the way. Went to head south to D6 and theres 3 ghost ships all in the same place. I start going around them and a storm pops up, next thing you know 2 ghost ships come flying through a water spout shooting at me and I cant do jack shit because I'm in a sloop. This is such a quick and easy way to get wiped and seems a little excessive as I was in full wind and could not outrun them. Now I have no ship and no resources once again after playing nonstop since release.

Whenever sailing on a long voyage, I'm obviously not running around and sprinting (on a sloop) so my hunger doesnt deplete nearly as fast as my vitamins, causing me to end up with vitamin deficiencies across the board but a full stomach. Is this intended? If so how do you balance it?
