  1. Ugh.... thanks for the clarification, well if it's anything like before, that might very well go into minus numbers after it reaches 0.
  2. They may have replaced their claim flags, i am reading alot about people replacing their claim flags after last nights patch however stupid this might be it's worth a shot. At this stage we may just give in to the fact lands are going to change so fast and stuff is going to be stolen until it is set in stone about how the timers work. Would love a Dev twitter or forum post to shed some light on what actually is happening with claims..... really not much to ask!
  3. I would presume that these are actually counted as ground flags as they're not floating. The sea claim removal would've only been for the floating ones. Unfortunately their claim will stay....... Feelsbadman
  4. As we all know claim system has been screwed, does this new "fix" solve all our woes? I have some questions... 1) Does sleeping in the zone now prevent people from stealing(acquiring yarrr....) your land? Also resetting the timer to 3 days? 2) Upkeep...... Is this working or not?.... Does this mean that an active player running around in the area resets the cooldown again to 3 days? or is it just a few hours or a day or what? 3) Devs, any chance you wanna tell us what "More flags you own, the faster people can claim them"..... We got 1 flag so we're not too bothered but what are we talking here for 1,2,3,4 flags. Instead of 40 min declaim on 1, its 10 min claim if they have tons of flags or what? Trying to claim land - Is this the way it is now or are we still waiting for this? 1) If a player/company is sleeping in his zone but doesn't log on for 3 days - This should be claimable 2) If the player/company leaves the zone for 3 days - This should be claimable Any insights would be good.
  5. From current experience: 1. You can chat in (Ally) chat. Big Whoop..... 2. Company's' that are in an alliance can still steal each others land so no advantage here. 3. On the flip side. If someone is stealing your land and you are not there, an alliance player from another company will pause the claim by standing in the radius of the claim. From what we saw it didn't stop the claim and as soon as he passed on through it resumed the claim countdown after 30 seconds. 4. Regarding the above, all companies in the alliance are Not notified about the stealing of land, only the company who owns it (Which if offline, well....). e.g Company A(Ally) own land that someone tries to steal Company B(Ally) Will not see that an alliance companies land is being stolen. Company B(Ally) player walks onto the claiming of Company A(Ally) by chance - the claim will pause but not stop it. <- I don't even think by walking on to it that the Player is notified that his ally's land is being claimed. So he just jogs on merrily. and the claim continues. The only way for them to see is if they see the flags raising or lowering or interact with them.
  6. I must agree that the sinking with weight is a bit much as it's quite easy to farm the amount need to sink them. atm i can only suggest not having campfires or anything that can't be locked on the deck for people to put something in, obviously hard when sailing on a raft but yea..... If you manage to build a sloop there is a trick to build a smithy below deck by using a half wall and a floor. Down there you can put a smithy, preserving bag, bed etc if you wish. I'm not sure if it counts and not in game to test, but if weight and crew members are counted when its player(s) from outside of the company or a player who built the vessel, this really shouldn't count. Weight griefing is one for the devs to look into sooner rather than later.
  7. I'm not sure if sleeping in an area is currently working either. The guys next to us had their land taken while sleeping in it yesterday (02/01/2019). They were in the alliance with the whole island and im quite sure they were logged in the previous day. It took them 30 mins to declaim and 10 mins for their flags. The previous owners logged in like an hour after their complete base was demolished to find themselves waking up on the beach. That was some serious German shouting!
