Well I obviously had not noticed that, probably because nothing like this had happened to me before and I didn't see anything about it. If I had known about it before then I wouldn't have built a damn thing and just waited for it to be sorted out.

I logged on today to find that both my sloop and newly built schooner had been destroyed, by what I don't know. No animal had killed me so I assume I drowned when either the game bugged out or some shit stain found a way to sink them both which I think is more likely as this is the Ark community after all. The whole reason for joining a PvE server was so that I could learn the game without the risk of being wiped daily as a solo player, a fat lot of good that was. Both ships were always fully repaired and well out of the way of any damned ships before I logged off.

After the latest update with the added low memory mode (even though my pc meets the recommended amount) I was able to join a server as expected, my first attempt to join failed but I retried and it loaded in no problem. It's good to see they're listening to people and improving quite fast. Anyone still having this problem add -lowmemorymode to your launch options and give it a shot.

I remembered having this problem in ark a few times and fixing it somehow, but as I said above I think it was the launch options that helped. I did try a few fixes from Ark videos including that one you linked, didn't work for me but it might for others.

I tried all of the official servers and a few unofficial. I was mainly trying to get onto the NA PvE server, trying different spawn points didn't seem to help. Will the launch options that Ark had be added? I had this same problem on there and using one of the launch options helped from what I remember.

I cannot join any server because I get stuck on "Snapshot 16" and then get disconnected, I don't know what causes this or if there is a way to fix it. If anyone has ideas on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
