Well yeah it’s not exactly ark. It does have bigger boats, npc’s, and mythical not prehistoric creatures. On the other hand there is still base building, Megas, same trading, for the most part same resources, and a lot of the same tames. so yeah definitely not exactly like ark. But very similar in a lot of ways. Mainly playerbase. Edit. And no I am not saying reskin or anything of that sort

For some reason people think I am a pessimist lol. Not sure why really. For all I know atlas might be a success. But in reality is probably won’t. just being real. Ark was a success even with the problems. The “real” problem is that people already expect bad things to happen(also real), so now there is something to prove. this isn’t a new company trying ark anymore. They sold 12 million copies of ark and so far they are doing a very bad job. Nobody cares about ea and “EA” itself is becoming very taboo right now. it has been used as an excuse for everything and now people are fed up with it. EA= BS and that is all there is to it

I know man. I didn’t say it actually fixed anything. I said they implemented something to make it possible to own land even though you have to pay for it(paraphrased). that and now that they have done it I am pretty sure the pve ship sinking exploit is worse because if you don’t even have a boat you won’t be able to go get land in the first place so I am pretty sure that out weighs the current claim situation

Even though I understand where you are coming from, it won’t happen. claimibg was on their priority list but they came out with the neutral land tax idea. that did fix some of the issue so not they have dropped it to the bottom of the list to work on more important things like the pve ship sinking weright glitch and the OP alpha predators. Since the tax was initiated I doubt they will be working on claims right now. And to be honest they would look pretty bad if they continued to work on claims when as far as anyone else can’t see they literally haven’t don’t anything as far as the pve weight grieving goes. That has been around since day 1 so I am sure people would get mad if they continue yes to work on the claiming. long story short. If you do what they should be doing, claiming won’t be worked on anytime soon

The way your title gives info, it tells the devs that you will be back which means they don’t have to rush to fix it since you will be back later. now they can take their time knowing they haven’t actually lost a consumer. You just extended your break

Well it is really a grind game. 95% is the grind. Ark and atlas are very grind intensive games. You have to be able to donate a lot of time to it. That is just the way it is. Won’t change anytime soon

Well that didn’t happen with ark until like 2 years later. I am thinking they don’t want it to be completely the same as ark even though it basically is ark already

Well of course I trust other people. I go off of their experiences of course. I feel bad for a lot of the players going through all of the stuff they had to already. These devs do this kind of thing. I am just the one that is not surprised by it. Yes of course I will inform those people that the dev company has a track record of repeatedly doing the things they are actually having problems with. Not really a survival game either though since recruit difficulty has kicked in. survival is gone now. But yes it is an mmo, you are correct on that Ah man, I was talking about the constant delays, bug fixes that don’t fix anything at all, not optimizations even after official release. I meant the casuals are still there but we have already seen tea(main tribe on ark) here as well as the ark players asking the devs to nerf everything. i never once said if you play atlas you are an ark player.
