I am almost sure I wasn’t in lawless. I will make sure to double check but the notice I was getting was that I did not have enough company points and it was a 57 point island. but yeah I will go make sure. Hopefully that is the case and I am not the only one stuck with lower points

Just saying, if this was a bug and we didn’t get the 70 points, I am completely fine with you giving us 100 points as a 7 man team. any less would of course be bad customer service, but I will let that be up to you guys. we definitely do not have even close to 70 points. Not just that, but there are multiple islands that are not claimed yet, in all biomes, that are 57 points, so screw it, give us 57 points even. not too happy about this addition. I really don’t want to call for another wipe. Just saying.

Uh ok, now it is time to tell me what to do. I would much rather Fahrenheit. I live in California so we have deserts, plains temperate, coastal, and in the winter tundra to say the least(mammoth and big bear, as well as Lake Tahoe). Depending on the year we can even get tropical. don’t get me started on California winters and summers. It really gets stupid after awhile and you can tell what season you are in.

70 island points for a solo? It is still the 30 points and only counts 2. I think we are at 44 points right now. i wouldn’t mind getting one of the many 57 point islands that aren’t claimed yet but we would have to add like 7 more people. we are just going to get a 35 pointer in the polar region

Cool. Yeah it is a pretty cool app. You can even set your level and see which skills you want to respec before you do it as well as recipes and so forth. Pretty convenient

There is an app on the apple store that is free called A-calc. Not sure if it is on android or not. it is pretty accurate and basically like the Dododex ark has but this is for atlas

Cool. Thanks for the info. to add to that, I also agree that the points for a solo are too high. However, I believe the very small increase per person should be higher. as it stands we have 7 people but now if I want a 56 points island I have to go find 5 more people. I believe 7 should be enough for a 56 points island. actually solos have the biggest benefit really. With 30 points starting they can already have 2 15 points islands but yet 7 people can’t get to the 3 15 point island mark and the difference between 1 and 7 is pretty big. they way they decided those points is pretty bad. how about 10 points per person? 1 person is 10 points 2 is 20 and so on. I see that as pretty good. That way solos can’t own multiple islands but company sizes can match their capability.

It isn’t Bethesda that allows the mods. Microsoft allows Bethesda to have mods on their game. it also depends on if the developers themselves make the mods of if a third party makes the mods but ultimately it is Microsoft that makes the decision on allowing mods

As long as they can get their together they can still save it. Ark is doing just fine on console and they don’t have mods even 4 years out. they just need to improve the base game(optimizations/content) and they will be ok. It is on their road map but let’s see if they stick to it. mods would definitely be cool but Xbox players are still very new so there is still plenty of stuff to experience for now at least. hey hopefully they can pull off mods for console. That would be awesome. If they do that for atlas before ark though.... man there would be a lot of mad ark players lol

Has anyone had people join their company just so they have enough company points to get an island? if so, what happens if that person leaves the company? Do you lose the island? not willing to risk getting insided(pvp mentality) so they would need to leVe after the fact. So, let me know if you have an idea.

Of course they wiped. They would have had a failed launch if they didn’t wipe. This was the best call they could make from a business and logical standpoint.

Wont happen unfortunately. It would be way too complicated and expensive to do that. Steam allows almost anything, Microsoft does not. Microsoft wouldn’t even be dealing with grapeshot anymore at that point. They would be dealing with the mod group which since they are not the actual game developer that would makes things very annoying. Especially with how steam will just release a mod but it would take probably months to get a mod approved for console. Since we are doing crossplay that means that the pc people would no longer get mods as well until Microsoft approved them. that is something that pc players wouldn’t on dislike but border line hate. The fate of every single update, mod or official lies with Microsoft now. Steam no longer has control.

I wouldn’t bother with the word yet. Xbox doesn’t do mods at all. That would be a whole new can of worms to get approved by Microsoft since the mods aren’t from the developers themselves. hence why ark on Xbox after almost 4 years still doesn’t have mods.

Very true. And pretty soon they are going to have to go discovering anyways once we hit 51 still got a bit to go on 42 right now. the galleon in an awesome ship. My buddies already have some ideas on designing it

You know how many people have said “I just don’t feel the motivation to grind during the week”? yeah, it is time for a weekday event. People are literally telling the devs “ I won’t do anything on weekdays” that should say something. Jesus Christ @Jatheish you said yourself that events would happen during the weekday. I like you but this Is a put up or shut up situation here. Without even downloading the game, you just shot by the ratio of weekend bs. Weekdays itself if 100 to 1. I mean come on man, don’t put the whole “we have been talking about it” thing and then just simply not do it. this is the official release, any event at any time will be a plus. This isn’t for my benefit because who knows, I might not be able to get on. I am cool with that. The pure bias is what really gets to me. really hoping you suck it up and give the others what they want!
