After the update in pve your structures will take damage no matter where you build. Everything will be as lawless

The walling off of resources will be a bigger problem i think, people will be scared that someone will build to close to metal nodes etc, and therefore will block off giant pieces of land

It's going to be worse i think. Now you have claims, so if someone has a few flags down, they can protect resources because nobody can build between all the resources and prevent them from respawning. So after the update, people will be able to build everywhere. So you will see more foundation spam, more big gates to lock off metal nodes etc, so nobody can build there. They should have kept flags, limit it to 1 flag a person, or 25 max for a company.

haha, do you even seen a lawless right now ? And guess what, people can build everywhere after the wipe, so they can stop at EVERY island, spam foundations down and move to the next one. Yeah really good ! Oh and the new content you talking about, you won't be able to aces it right away. So you get nothing new in that point

You clearly haven't leveled really in this game. Not everyone want to spent hours on hours on hours of sailing, running to that discovery point, get back to the ship, etc etc etc. They can wipe everything in my opinion, though the levels you earned kinda should stay, but i get why our levels get deleted. I don't get why our discovery points need to wipe. Or they should remove the leveling restriction tied to discovery points

So pve just got useless. No claiming of a spot. People can just build everywhere. This will result in resources not growing back, grieves that foundation spam, we will see even more gates, blocking everything off. @Jatheish @Dollie WORST DECISION EVER

Levels should be a thing that's able to be saved or transferred. But it will be huge advantage above lower levels, if you're a high level

No, PVE won't have claim flags, everything will be as a lawless is now.

They should keep flags in pve, but just limit it. Like 1 flag per person, or max 25 flags per company with 25+ members. I'm really concerned about the foundation span, resources not growing. People will block off a lot now if they can, this will make everything even worse.

Some do look a lot like another one. But it's still EA so they might not have done everything yet. But overall there are some nice structures to be found, villages that are in the game etc

You clearly didn't do any real exploring yet. There are a lot of very nice islands. I agree with this, let people level on their on phase, and the discovery as an option, so you can do it when you want, and not cause you must do it. Agree, too bad they delayed the content that should have been coming out now, to mid/end march ( if it doesn't get delayed again ). Livestream on twitch in a few hours about it

There could be crew on one of the ships. Crew do contest claims.

Go on every deck and try to place the sail, and look on every deck what is blocking the sail.

Anyone else having problems with crew behind canons below deck ? All my crew is behind the canon, i sail out and after a minute of sailing the crew behind the canons disappear, i can't fire, nothing. I sail back anchor my ship, and the crew is right back behind the canons. Anyone else having this too ?

I farmed 40k thatch in 15 min with a giraffe after the patch. I must say i have a lot of trees close together.

Nothing, they just stay yours. If you don't take the riding skill anymore, you just can't use them anymore. But you don't loose them

I believe i've read that it's a bug. And it can indeed happen with breeding, i had it happen with me once, but didn't survive the breeding process.

The missing crew i had too. I feel like the galleon has the most trouble with the crew. Every time i raise my anchor, half my crew is floating, and if i forgot to check it like today, i loose all the floating crew. Lost around 20 crewmembers.

That's why i said " should", i never had anything happen to a animal this way. But i know other do sometimes. The bugs are sometimes crazy. I lost my brig after the update yesterday, everything was fine, it was in my harbor the whole day. After the update i log back in and it was at the bottom, not a single plank damaged. I guess we can't get attached to things, it sucks loosing stuff duo bugs
