Ahoy Pathfinders, HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR! To kick off the new year, we’ll be releasing a new patch late next week for both PC and Xbox. It will feature a number of various bug fixes, QoL improvements, and balance tweaks in a similar vein as the update from this past December. The biggest change that players will see this update is the reduction of the max player level from 150 to 120. We wanted to give the community advanced notice of this particular change since it’s a fairly large shift in how players’ characters will experience ATLAS. All players who have raised a character past level 120 should expect those characters’ levels to be reduced back to level 120 and all characters (regardless of level) will have their skill points automatically reset for free. As such, players will need to reassign their skill points upon logging in after the update is released next week. We’ll be sharing the rest of the patch notes with you once it's released next week. In the meantime, we’ll be enabling 2x rates for experience points and harvesting this weekend and those rates will continue to stay active while we continue to explore additional changes to gaining experience, harvesting resources, and leveling up in general. Until next week! so . . . you're going to make pvp even more unbalanced? a further reduction in nade damage? continue to ignore the same problems over and over?

10 months or 3 months of nothing for a game in development is bad, whoever you are. When there is so little attention on the game that players need to spam discord accounts just so they can get them to reset the region server that has been down for days. Greifers running riot because tickets are ignored, so regular players feel abandonded. The severe lack of community engagement that makes you wonder what the hell is going on. This is why they have lost my respect. Just look back at this forum 1 year ago, captains logs every couple weeks, community competitions, dozens of posts daily by GrapeShot emploees, there seemed a real zest for this game by all despite the growing pains of an EA title. Now?, What can I say? There is nothing.............

I don't mind the difficulty of it...the part that gets me is the time sink. I mean if you develop a feature that basically requires you to sit in a stationary spot for a period of time, and then sit in same spot again immediately following to feed infants...that is just insanity at its best. I mean Taming I can understand, there is only one stage and it takes X amount of time. You don't get much downtime in taming and when you do take too much it only reverses the taming process unlike breeding which results in the death of the infant and fighting a CD on breeding again. The gestation period on a bear for instance in 4 hrs and I think its 12 on horses. So if you want to breed a horse you better hope its a day you are off from work and a day you dont expect to do anything else in the game. Its too big a time sink to invest into, especially when the animal will die so easily to an alpha or clipping anyway. Its far more efficient to just tame low level animals and go from there. There needs to be a buffer period in temps to contend with sudden temp extremities and breeding times have got to go down by 300% because they are just way to damn long.

i dont want more water, man that is boring, but is your game, if you ask me i want a arktlas, i want to tame water animals and swing across the ocean with my mossasaurus, why ark has 40,000 players after 4 years and you 2,000, we like to tame, we like to explore, we like ark, we like a ark of the sea, focus in tame awesome animals, not spend 2 hours sailing in a boring ocean, forget my poor english
