Hold back the obituaries, Always check for a pulse first.I don't see the game as dead at all,going through changes yeh,but not dead.Like I've said before some people just get bored on mmo's,try something else for a while and then come back .ESO was absolutely packed in it's glory days,it's not now.WOW has slumps too.Just give Atlas time it's early days yet.

The only thing apart from losing my ships which has also made me not want to bother making anymore,is the levelling.apart from skill points I find it daft that no matter what level I am and how much health etc I've got I can still sometimes be wiped by a level 8 creature with surprising ease.it doesn't happen every time but when it does I still find it a bit wrong.But now with single player I can adjust that little problem when I want to,at least that's something.

yeh i'm sure the salt cost keeps rising,hard to tel as I don't check them everyday.

Hello people dunno if i'm just being dim but I can't find any sliders or adjusters for the wpe on single player,is it not on sp yet?

Oh yeh,I forgot to add that the graphics in this game can be absolutely stunning at times too,especially the sunsets,and that on low mem mode too.

I personally don't like the trend towards pvp,because in my experience people will always get bored when there is nothing new left to fight or do.However, Atlas has shown a big commitment and support to it's pve community, even when this was never it's first intention.As for player numbers they will always go up and down in mmo's especially ea.Some people just want it cheap then wait for the bugs to go,some people just want different game options,some people would get bored in a party at the playboy mansion tbh.I play everyday,I can't say that about any other game at all.I also visit the forums everyday,how many games have a dedicated forum as good as this one?they've given us single player,which is damn excellent,and now they've given us multi nds options too.What more do people want?tameable dancing reindeer?

that's what's worrying me a bit,if I crash on one,will I lose my data on the other?Wish they had separated it so we start a new character.

Just thought I'd say my game used to crash every time I started up.then I booted in low memory mode and it's been fine since then,sometimes I still have to re-connect when it times out on me.Don't know if you've tried that yet.

Even in games like WOW you get a constant ebb and flow of players,In my friends list I see some inactive for 6-7 months at a time,then all of a sudden they are all playing again.People have to remember how many online multiplayer games are available,you cant play them all at the same time,you can try but eventually you'll have to cut the amount down,especially as a lot of them now have some system of decay.I't not necessarily because one game is much better,but sometimes it's just the need to do something different.And decay timers haven't helped,even though they are necessary.

Hey people,I notice that it was said the multiplayer nds mode will use the single player save,does anyone know if this will affect my single player game?

Anyone know how much salt the preserving bags use daily now?It seems to be more than ever.I'm stocking them with salt a lot more often now than before.

I don't mind the idea of megalodon being a powerstone boss,but not just swimming around and attacking randomly ,there are people starting the game with a raft or a ramshackle sloop,I don't think if a newcomer got blasted out of the water by a giant shark in the first few minutes that he would want to bother playing again.Also if you solo and you've only got one or two ships,having them sunk every time you journey out could be a bit of a knock,in a game where they need to encourage sailing I don't think making the sea totally treacherous is the way to do it.

I wish boarding them did always work,however It didn't work for me and I just lost my two best ships,and I only had 4 anyway.2 sloops and 2 schooners.now i'm left with 2 sloops. So the ability to store them would help a lot,it's not just me who lost ships either.

well technically we do store a lot of ingame items in inventories,cupboards etc,I was thinking more along that route,look at the size of the shipyard,I store that in a cupboard till I place it.I know your own ship isn't quite the same league but it would have to be done in a similar way,if it is possible.At the end of the day the game has to render all them ships people have anyway,and that causes huge lag on some islands.

Yeh thanks devs for taking our opinions seriously and changing the update idea for island wipe,I know a lot of people on pve will now feel a lot happier.thx again.

there probably is,there's a guy on youtube called myusualme and he does a lotta cheats.

Just turn off damage to your structures and ships , you can also turn up the sliders to make yourself almost unkillable,not totally but almost.Have a mess around with the single player settings,you can even stop decay in freeport. There is also a spawn slider to cut down creature spawn.

yep that's right,I can push a spacebar but if I miss it or hit two keys at a time, I tend not to keep re-editing as it it is awkward to do so,however as you yourself have a disability, then I assume you'll understand that some of the things others take for granted are not always possible for everyone.
