Another odd twist, if Iroll back the servers to a previous save, it loads, but deletes all the players. The stuff is still there, but the player data is gone....

It was working fine yesterday, I updated the server, now it won't load.

My dedicated server stopped working today. It has been running perfectly for a lone time. When I updated and ran it today, I got a fatal error below, it it will not load. Its's a 2x2 and non of the 4 servers will load. Any suggestions?

That's a great idea. They could also work some of the power stones into a cave as well. Maybe even soon big enough to sail a ship inside of, or there's a boos fight of a trapped pirate ship. Think of the Goonies! Lots of pirate treasure inside!

Still not working. I am restarting with a new map and making sure there are no duplicate islands!

Still no joy....I restarted my map. Hopefully it will work this time around. I made sure there were no duplicate islands too! haha

Yes, I have It in my hotbar, and looking at it. I have the skill, but that's just to increase the distance. I'm 99% sure its not a duplicate island, but I'll try that too. Its not like 1 thing I can't find. I have yet to find any. I think this is the skill you mean, but that's only to increase the distance. https://atlas.gamepedia.com/Eagle_Eye

I have yet to find a single treasure on any island in my dedicated servers. The maps work fine, I am standing on top of the X, but I do not see the treasure beam saying where to dig or anything. It doesn't work while walking or while mounted. Is this happening to anyone else? Everything else seems to work fine except that. I find tons of loot/treasure floating in the water, but non off the maps...

Great idea. I agree there should be a protection to ships in the dock. That way it will force people to park there ships, and leave the ones they care more about protected in the dock. There could be a cannot be sunk trait to things parked inside. Makes sense since you prevent the ship from sinking while you are building it. Maybe, worst case, have it cost some wood and materials to dry dock it, then re-launch it when you want it to get out. That way the dry dock buff makes it so it cant be sunk.

Ships can reverse?!? I have lost so many smaller ships by getting too close to stuff and not being able to turn around. mind...blown...

I have the same issue. I am standing literally on the X, and there is no beam showing that I am at the stop, mounted, or unmounted.

Are you updating your server regularly? You should shut it down and update/restart it every like 12 hours with the way the game is constantly updated right now. You can even run a automatic script on your computer that does it for your every X number of hours.

I was climbing up a hill looking for treasure, when I got stuck on some trees. After randomly clicking around, I fell inside the hill and couldn't get out. Everyone went black, and my coordinates read 0,0. I couldn't even teleport out. It happens around 1:18:40 to the end in the video below.

In your saved folder there are multiple backups that are time stamped. the one that gets loaded is the one that is .atlas. MAKE A COPY OF IT, then change one of the timestamped ones to the .atlas file. it will roll it back to that time. You can change the interval of saves in your server setup file. It follows the same rules that ark does, just named a little differently.

I was all excited about building our first Schooner....got it sunk my a single darn Ghost Ship....I need better captaining skills! hahaha

Remove both to prevent any lingering data from carrying over, like stats, or items and such. It happened to me that I hit join new, and it still spawned me with a new character but with the previous amount of exp.
