  1. Installed patch and ctd on loading game. Fatal error! 2. Ok got it working, the command line is for Red Alert, used from Steering Wheel. Default is rightshift to reseat cannons. Hold N to de seat. I've remapped Red alert to G and kept N for off and it works fine, there's a 30 second delay between unseating and reseating. For sails I have to do it manually.
  3. Ok if right shift is default, what's the command it is default tied to anyone know? My right shift activates my sprint toggle.
  4. To cannons, puckles, balistra etc? It's becoming a real chore having to seat/unseat 35 npcs from cannons everytime I stop at an island to repair etc.
  5. Pressing T whilst on ship, with an AI Crewman on the steering wheel, allows you to whistle to your facing direction and other commands. If I press T it will whistle all follow. Doesn't matter if I use the steering commands or not, everything will follow me. If I disable listen to group commands. They will still all follow me. Crewmen will however remain at thier posts. All tames will suddenly pop onto the top deck and chaos ensues. These commands simply cannot be used during combat, because of these massive flaws in the design. You cannot just go and overlap commands onto the same pinwheel, it does not work. Pinwheel needs a complete rework to put the steering commands onto a different sub menu of the pinwheel, I'd prefer to hit another button to enter Ship only commands, not autopilot.. which should also have it's own structured pinwheel commands, but not with the general whistles. I cannot safely use Lt Podium, Steering wheel, Standing on Deck and issue these commands if there are tames on board. Esp since many tames are not done by me, it could be someone elses hard work I'm killing. And certainly wasting. The follow commands and other general commands also occur with crewmen.. often the very crewman I am ordering, will abandon his post to follow me.. which makes the entire system utterly useless.
  6. Neither the cannon or crewmans settings matter. Simply putting a crewman onto a high up cannon can have that ai shooting the fish. The ability to press C, requires you to be on the boat. It also does not fix any shore defences or mounted guns. There are no steering wheels on land.
  7. Just past 18 sotd ships in I12 Eu pve. That's alot of ships... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1729272958 That some of them.. and all my crew.. went off the cannons...
  8. When holding the repair hammer on a ship, next to a damaged cannon, the hud popup help display will show all resources in the green, except Alloy, which is always listed as 0 red. If you hit the cannon it will however repair it, so long as you have alloy in your ship chest.
  9. Ai Crewmen - On Passive. Mounted on Cannons or Swivels, will randomly shoot at all targets. Only current resolution atm seems to be to get on steering wheel and press C. But it doesn't fix the issue overall. Ai Crewmen should not be shooting anything when on Passive. This bug needs to be fixed.
  10. The patchnotes show changes to the way animals are transferred onto ships, in general the fixes work great. However there is still a small issue, where once the animal is transferred, it cannot be ridden, as the collision for the animal is slightly offcenter to it's actual position, forcing the player to force their way towards the animal to be able to ride it. Once the animal is moved, the issue is resolved. Until you cross a zone border. At which point the collision area is again slightly out of place, to where the animal is, moving around the animal in my case a bear, I am being pushed back or blocked from going down stairs, when the bear isn't close enough to interact. Moving the animal resolves the issue. In both cases I should not get any kind of invisible physical resistance when moving around or trying to mount tames. Both issues are centered around how the design reorganises moving the tames to the ship and when zoning.
  11. So my current Feats are listed as F1 place flag, F2 dance, F3 healing tame, F4 dance, F5 rally crew, F6 Animal Rally can't remember name. I want to reorganise them, which I can do, via the menu options and key changes. But the icons do not change position. This is the bug. The icons should switch position as I reorganise the Feat bar. After I press Apply/Save. Pc/Steam Ver.
  12. Mate of mine broke a wall in my galley.. caused an entire deck to demo with everything on it. This is not the kind of bug we want to deal with daily.. (it is permissable he misclicked.. but he says he didn't.)
  13. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1727130883 There's nothing obstructing it, either from the shore or in the water. I've lifted the anchor and moved the sails. There's nothing on the decks below. There is no obstruction.. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1727139739 However I could then place a catwalk in exactly the same location, so I've just demo'd the triangles and put catwalks instead.
  14. Noticed a few times now, if I have several level ups on an tame or crewman, possibly myself, not notice this tho, that the first point is always around twice the value of the rest. So if I'm leveling a bear for example, the first point of health is worth 29 health points, the second is worth 19 and the third, fourth also 19.. if I level up 1 pt, then wait an unknown period, the first point is then also worth 29 health.. So what's the deal with this? What's the time period between getting the extra 10 pts or not? As this will seriously impact taming animals and leveling them up.
  15. I think you're misunderstanding, the stutter problem is bad fps.
  16. It is true (imo) that the single players represent the largest group overall. But they can only represent themselves with a single voice, where as a larger group, can become a cacophony of voices, you can see that in threads as people will agree or disagree rapturous with each other. The problem is trying to discern who is giving the right (ito) opinion. This is because people are not talking about fact of occurance, but fact of what could happen. Fear of the Unknown. (imo)
  17. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1725240896 This is how it should be. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1725240760 The crew are still there, you just can't see them. This is often the case for many players who join my ships, they can't see many objects, like smithy, ship chest, crew. And then theres this... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1725241022 & https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1725241143 Both issues are fixed by relogging. Which is not something you want to do during combat.
  18. Don't imprinted animals only have boosted stats for the player who imprinted?
  19. Why do they cave in and listen to large groups? Money that's why. You setup a business and there's 3 groups of people outside, each damanding different things, you're gonna go with the largest group. Everytime. Otherwise your business will fail. Or progress very slowly. imo
  20. Still ways to resolve it. Can just make a ticket and if grapeshot publically banned them, utilising the patch banner msg something like ' "123" and his "123 company" banned for 6 months for exploiting.' It'd make the entire server aware of the penalities of exploiting the game in this way. We used to do this on our minecraft server, add names of people banned to boards as new players entered the server. And via banner on the screen. It almost extinguished exploitation and cheating on the server overnight. Still got tourist exploiters, every so often, but those you just perma banned anyway. People used to do quite serious hacking attacks, ddos'ing etc until the tech was brought in to combat it. irl Hackers get longer sentences than almost any other crime, it needs to be dealt with the same way as forums in the games as well. You can right now, get banned from the forums for life for just swearing at people or being racist or homophobic etc.. but you do it in the game and you get nothing.. at all. You exploit, steal, ridicule, push someone to suicide.. nothing. Nada, zilch.. and it just isn't acceptable. We need gms ingame and the gms in and out of the game need proper logs to track offences and deal with people, both tempory and permenant bans.
  21. never been attacked by the whales near wrecks, is that whilst free diving or in suit?
  22. With maps you need to find the map, goto the golden island or where ever.. yep you get maps for goldens as well. With xp you just go, shoot, level up. Simples. You can decide which is better for you. I've found islands with alot of lv 200+ chickens, seaguls and horses for example, but goldens have hundreds of animals all lv60+ upto 135.. easy to kill relatively, snakes can be abit of an issue as can be gorgons, but great xp none the less. And if you pull the hydra even more fun.
  23. Dismounted a newly tamed bull, after adding a tier 2 saddle to it, mashed a few trees. Dismounted, pressed T to whistle it to passive, as soon as I clicked on passive my computer shutdown. CTD's I don't mind as that's the software fataling, but hard crashes like these are a big nono as they can damage my hardware.
  24. Nah that can't be right.. my rhino gets on avg 150 per node, i get on avg 250... so the node cannot be pre ordained. There must be some kind of bonus using harvesting skills or upgrade points. Otherwise it'd be pointless.. pun intended.. to even have them skill/upgrade based.
  25. Golden Islands are awesome places for getting xp.. pity you're missing out. Jump naked off ship, lure the ones you don't want away, kill everything else with carbines, cannons, catapults and balistas.. etc Bows for the wolves/tigers/lions and gorgons. Great xp if you're willing to risk walking outside your base. Just realised this is a necro'd post, but the point still stands even now. People are damned for not using search.. then damned for doing so.
