because I have an outpost where I have several bears, a couple cows, and a bull but havent had time to really work the area, so I am not mounting any of them (infact they dont even have saddles). They have been there for well, well over 3 weeks (a SOTD glitch wiped out one of my boats and the other got taken by a whale so I have been busy rebuilding). My teammate has been gone for a month on business and all I have been doing is fast traveling to his base and then back. All is still there. As far as ships, I have a armored schooner we use to attack SOTD that I havent boarded since mid april, yet its still in my harbor. Dunno, I dont touch every animal or sail every boat and never lost anything. I may be wrong, but for me, I have not run into that at all.

Yeah I dont think you have to interact with em. I have bears, ele's and giraffes that I dont even touch. As soon as I get within distance its all good. Did the OP by chance not login to the same server? maybe hes online every day, but if you dont go to the server, the countdown runs. Same with beds. Every 4 days i bed hop to keep em fresh. Been doing that for months without issue. FYI, I have animals that are in a pen at a base I havent worked on in a long time, but fast travel to the bed every couple days. Fast travel in, fast travel out. Animals are fine.

So, you foundation spammed him. Regardless if you removed them or not, that makes you a douchebag. I sincerely doubt the dev said foundation spamming 3 flags worth of area is acceptable since that in itself is against the TOS. Here is an idea, stop foundation spamming altogether and just build a base. Want it so no one can build around you? Build a bigger base. No matter what you say foundation spamming is a douchebag move and if you had any sense of decency, you would admit you were being a douche with spamming, remove them, and play within the TOS. Countless other players are capable of playing and building without making all the islands look like an Oklahoma trailer park with garbage everywhere, you should be able to as well. You will get no sympathy here for foundation spamming.

FYI, Salty Jack looks to be part of Arklantis company and they are currently spamming E8 Monkberry Haven... Everyone who sees Arklantis, block and spam the crap out of them like they are doing to everyone else.

You sir are part of the problem. No, this is not the defacto flag system, you schmucks are exploiting. How about you build a base and live within that space instead of mucking up all the land around you. Leave some space for other people and have some respect. You are the problem with this game and your company is what this WHOLE thread is about.

If this was a full release game, I can see that, but it isnt. Since this game is still " early access and under development" the Devs should be reading their forums DAILY to fix issues with the game. The fact that there is no spawn protection should absolutely be addressed. If the devs dont read their forums, why have them? You cant call it EA without input from those playing it and resolve the issues. There is no reason why a SOTD fleet should be able to spawn and immediately sink a boat.

Salty, your company is in the wrong here. Foundation spamming to save space is complete bull. It is companies like yours that make this game a mess to play. Build your base, build your shipyards and be happy. No reason to foundation spam an area you MAY develop later. Dirty tactics and dirty gameplay. Douchebaggery like this is why the servers got wiped the last time. Clean your mess up and stop making the game suck for others you selfish bunghole.

Make sure to update your drivers as well. As other suggested verify integrity too.

You arent actually hitting the mouth. There is a sweet spot between front and back legs. You cannot feed from the back side, has to be leg side. It is definitely a pia. Build a pen to tame..6 foundations, some doorways and a few ramps is easiest way..use wheat..using reg veggies dont work well at all. You will get hit and may even die, drop a spawn bed away from trap (so they cant break it). Use armor.

So, I pull my Brig up to a shipwreck. I look around, and there is NOTHING around. I equip my suit, dive down, and by the time I hit bottom, I look up and see my ship getting destroyed. I surfaced to find 2 SOTD Galleon, 3 brig and 3 schooner all literally on top of my boat. Needless to say it got sunk, but WTF is up with the spawning? Shouldn't they NOT spawn on top of boats? lol

Does anyone else agree there should be higher XP points given for sailing? I literally spend most of my time sailing and transporting stuff from one side of the map to the other and get no XP for it. last nite for example I traveled from L11 to H7 with a fully loaded Galleon with a cargo rack. Basically dodging SOTD, storms, wind shifts, etc. for 4 hours. Got no XP for it. Personally, if you can dodge a big slow boat like that, there should be ample points for it. Anyone else think that the XP given for sailing is way too low?

I cannot connect to the server I have been playing on since the wipe. I can actually ping the server IP address, so its not a connection issue. If I choose connect to new atlas, I cant see any official servers listed, only unofficial. I cannot connect to the server I logged out of last nite. Ive validated my files (which fail but arent seeming to reaquire). Anyone else having this issue?

Why own an Island? Not worth it anymore if you are in a company less than 20 players. We had a claim prewipe and it was awesome. Now since there is no building requirements, We sail around and make small bases on every isle and resource gather all over. Sail from isle to isle. In ways its more fun than having a claim, but having a claim and building trading docks and a nice castle was awesome too. Now our main base is in lawless and its been good (until recent foundation spammers ghetto'ed up the isle).

L11 has crazy amounts of hemp. H5 bonabalt isle has copper, crystals and nitride, and J10 has honey.

Yup, I build on stilts over water. Never had a tame die since. Also has the added benefit of not affecting resources. Only ramps to doors.
