I set a timer for a tree respawn and after 3 hours of real time and 3 days/night of game time no trees respawned in lawless areas.

If the goal was to reduce the number of players with this new V10 patch ... it was a success.

Claims suck there is no reason to claim land, the only advantage is spawning on land and length of time to log in. Otherwise just make a raft with a bed and park it by the shore in lawless lands. Unless you now of another reason to claim land ?

Really you got more with an hatchet vs the pick ax ? I would not have thought that thanks for the tip. Update: OMG it is now verified you get more using a hatchet then with a pick ax on metal nodes !!!

Water barrels are filled with a water skin and the water skin is filled by standing in fresh water not salt water and mousing over the water skin in inventory and hitting E key, to fill the barrel go in to barrel inventory and place the water skin then mouse over water skin in the barrel inventory and hit E key and it moves the water in to the barrel from the skin.

we just watched ships of the damned take out every drydock and ship of everyone offline except for the rafts now there is a ton of loot from the offline galleon and 3 sloops ... this is bullshit, I would be furious if I came back and my Galleon was destroyed because I was not online when they attacked ... I do have a real life too.

but you can not fill containers with this method

need to move to another island not all islands have fresh water ponds, you can dig for fresh water but only to fill you up not your containers

we just found salt and I am looking for all those as well, wheat/maize seems to be very important for cooking.

What we have thought the Primal and Snapshot is are files it is pulling from the server and as it is downloading the server times out waiting on you to get in the game. my suggestion is to keep trying the same home area cause if you switch home areas then it has to re-download from new server. Each home area is a server node, we believe so, just keep trying the same and find a home area that is low population ... if possible. It's a pirates life for me !!!

I would not think the game would spawn your raft locked in but I would, one pick a new port or move to one of the other three ports via the dockmaster or two, as soon as you spawn your raft move it out of the harbor.
