Their rep Their reputation was damaged before they even decided to change their name to grapeshot. Hell once they announced this game it became apparent why ark wasn’t getting the attention it needed for the past year or so. Let’s not act like this is a brand new company and forget all the miss steps they made over the past 4 years or so.

There are not many devs out there who would release a broken game right before Christmas then neglect it and just watch the refunds roll in.

Officials will become unplayable regardless pve wise. It’s a player issue and there is no fix for player behavior. It happened in ark and will happen here. To enjoy the game from a pve aspect you will always have to find an unofficial.

I’m convinced wild card doesn’t want people to play on their official servers with the the way they handle them. I couldn’t play since launch day because of the holidays and now I’m already thinking it’s time to look into an unofficial.

Looks like I will be moving on to unofficials even quicker than I did with ark. I’m in a two man company that hasn’t got to play much because of the holidays and it looks like the no lifers have already ruined officials. Didn’t take long.

They should reduce animal spawns by 50 percent or so and up resource spawns once they figure out how to get resources to spawn at all.

Hopefully this is fixed today. I gave up even trying to play Sunday. Won’t be logging in until this is fixed.

I won’t be playing much except for an hour here and there to check progress of thecgamd until they completely overhaul this or I can find a solid dedicated that disables ship decay almost totally. No sense building a raft and putting hours of work into stocking it just for this to happen. I could not log into ark for a few days and all my stuff would be fine. I really hope this wasn’t their intention. Who knows at this point though.

This imo is broken. No reason to even play if ships and rafts are going to function like this. I haven’t even built a raft yet after like 5 hours because of various other issues and this makes me not even want to bother.

I’ve harvested it from white rocks. They are almost flat and on beaches usually.

This thread is depressing. By the time my company of 2 gets sailing it doesn’t sound like there will be any land left and if people can just take it while we are away what’s the point?

I played for 15 hours or so in lawless zones and never saw a metal node until just now when I was finally able to log into a free port.

Everything seems fine now. The other games are working without a reinstall also. Like the HD just rebooted itself or something. I’ll keep an eye on it and run a test tomorrow. Thanks guys.

2 restarts brought the drive back. It appears that I need to reinstall all my windows 10 games (gears 4, state of decay) but this game starts fine. I don’t get it.

I didn’t really have much choice. Game totally locked up my system. Was definitely caused by this game I’m sure of that I literally just had this HD installed. Unreal.

I was finally able to log into a free port. Ran around for 10 minutes game froze. Hard reboot my pc and now the HD it was on just vanished. What is going on?

They learned absolutely nothing from ark. Changed their company name and making the same mistakes over again.

It’s wildcard. Every dinosaur they added after a certain point was to troll people so this doesn’t surprise me. I’m still stuck at lvl 8 and can’t get off my crappy lawless island but the more I read it sounds like the game gets even more frustrating after that.

They really haven’t. The biggest step they made was adding lawless areas on launch day to support getting most people on. Since then they haven’t even been able to figure out the bed, resources spawning, or various other issues. They did succeed in getting most people into the game but it took a complete workaround of their regular original plan of everyone spawning into a free port and they probably should of seen that coming.

What a mess.

Again....Spawning in lawless territorys was never intended. Yet here we are...spawning in lawless territories.

Most of us still can’t get into a free port though.
