  1. I found a solution on PC, works with a new and with an old save. There is a file in the "Saved/Atlaslocal" directory, the LastGridCoord_(numbers). (this file store your home grid and your actual grid) When you play after the new patch and exit/log out, the client save everything in the directory (grids, tribes, etc), but the lastgridcord is bugged at the moment, and this is why you keep resetting your game. The solution is: you need to put a "?Version=1" to the end of the "lastgridcord" file, because probably its missing in your case too. For example: If your lastgridcord file contains only: ServerX=7?ServerY=3?HomeServerX=7?HomeServerY=2, then you will start over and over with new char, etc. Its a wrong one. But, if your file contains the ?Version=1 string at the end, something like this: ServerX=7?ServerY=3?HomeServerX=7?HomeServerY=2?Version=1, then you can continue your progress without resetting your singleplayer data again, and again, and again. If you have old save with the new 11x11 map and you copy back that savegame, then you need edit the lastgridcord_(numbers), put the ?Version=1 at the end and you can continue that savegame too. You should check this everytime before you start the game and make sure, the ?Version=1 is present at the end of the lastgridcoord. (sorry for my english, i hope you can still understand)
  2. We discussed this in another topic, so i copy that comment here. If you are on PC: In the Savedatlaslocal directory there is a small file (LastGridCoord) where you can set up the spawn region and the home region for your singleplayer character. Basicly it contains only two data, an X and an Y coordinate number. You need to modify these numbers (and only the numbers). Facts: The game map (ocean) has 11x11 grid and the coordinate numbers in this case starts from the upper left corner, so the origo is the "A1" grid, which is 0,0 , not 1,1. You probably spawned here So, if you wanna spawn in B8 (that is a freeport in the new map), the you need to change the coords to 1,7. If in G8, then the coords are 6,7. If in J9 grids, then change to 9,7 etc. So, change the coords in the file, then start your game and thats all, you will spawn wherever you wanted. Or, if you change only the home region with this method, then spawn in the old grid, die and respawn in the home region. Both works. As always, make backup first, just in case! Unfortunatly i dont know how this works in XB os PS, but if you can reach and edit somehow this file, that should work too. If not, then use console command with a freshly created character, enable a god mode and fly mode, fly to the next island, disable the cheats, save the game and you can start playing with normal conditions. You can easily find the admin command list and the xb/ps in the web.
  3. Its a common bug from the prev. seasons, i had it too. Probably there is an abandoned ship (ram.sloop or raft) or shipyard near you in the water, and they are blocking you and your stairs. You need to wait a until the ship(s) is gone.
  4. Youre welcome. I wrote my comments from work, so i could not check, so thanks the correction Can i ask you to check the taming, it is woking for you? In single player or non-dedicated server i usually play with my family, but the taming is broken for us. Before the wipe, in the old map we could tame in any grid (even in freeport), but since the wipe we cant, taming isnt working for us. We tried the passive taming so far, we can give berries, fronds to the animals (small and harmless animals, pigs, cows, etc), but there is no taming pogress bar, no efficienty, nothing. We didnt try the bola method yet, only the passive one. We dont know, this is a local problem and affect only our game, or it is a general problem and need to be fixed. Can you help us a little bit and check the taming in your SP or non-dedicated session? Thanks!
  5. In the Savedatlaslocal directory there is a small file (LastGridCoord) where you can set up the spawn region and the home region for your singleplayer character. Basicly it contains only two data, an X and an Y coordinate number. You need to modify these numbers (and only the numbers). Its important, the map has 11x11 grid, and the numbers start from the upper left corner, but the origo - the A1 grid - is 0,0 , not 1,1. So, if you wanna spawn in B8 (that is a freeport in the new map), the you need to change the coords to 1,7. If in G8, then the coords are 6,7. If in J9 grids, then change to 9,7 etc. So, change the coords in the file, then start your game and thats all, you will spawn wherever you wanted. 6. 1. Download the Server Grid Editor (SGE) from here: 2. unzip then run the SGE (preferred as administrator) 3. "Load Project" and choose the standard servergrid.json (with the date 2021.04.26. - thats the new map. you can select the old ones too, or make a completly new one) 4. You can now see the world map and the 11x11 grid. Choose the export menu and click on "all". This will export everyting, big servermap, the servergrid.json file and the small grid maps. 5. The process will use almost 99-100% of your cpu, so make sure you dont wanna do anything else in the next 20-30ish minutes. 6. Now, you will have 121+ file in the destination directory, with .png extension, thats are the maps/grids (usually in the export folder) (for example: CellImg_X-Y.png (grid maps) and MapImg.png (world map)) 7. Make sure, you do backup of your \steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Saved\ first!!!!! 8. Then copy the exported servergid folder into the Atlas\shootergame\Saved folder. 9. Copy the servergrid.json too, from the SGE directory to the Atlas\shooter\saved too (replace the old one there, but again make a backup first) Thats all. At this moment the taming in non-dedicated host and singleplayer is broken, with several another feature, so prepare for that. sidenote: in the SGE you can customize the word map, if you check the tradewinds, or grid lines or discovery zones, anything. Every extra visual you turn on in SGE, is what you will get in the servermap after the export. (sorry for my english, its not my native language, but i hope you can understand at least a little bit)
  7. Today, a half hour ago got my first (and a second one too) Battle Eye DC too. I had no problem with the BE in the last few weeks, especially since the last patch (before that patch G3 was unplayable with 255 latency, after the patch it was smooth and almost perfect) until today. But, there is another "interesting" (i mean, sad) thing: my market started to "delete" my goods from the warehouse. At this moment i have simultaneously 52 and 34 shipment. (picture below) Thats a good thing, you should think, but the truth is, from this ammount of shipments only 2-3 are valid, like in the normal case. Every other ship(ment) took my granite/wood/etc and went to the god knows where (probably nowhere) with it: no payment, no random event, no sinking/mutiny, nothing in the log. From this morning until now, in the last 8 hour i lost almost 120k granite, 30k wood, etc. and got only the usual 100(ish) gold/hour ratio from the market (like any other normal day with 2-3 normally working shipments). I dont care my goods, farms will bring back, but probably this bug (and the shipments "flood"/spam) can cause some problem/lags to the server, maybe its related to the Battle Eye kickoffs too.
  8. Nice idea, Conan has something similar with the "Purge", what will come after the "purge meter" is filled between around 75%-100%.
  9. Yeah, with copper. But after a few succesfull transaction it stopped again and dont know why. I have almost 100k copper in my warehouse, we both offer and ask for copper, so this ammount wont change significally, plus we only moving 713 piece copper / shipment. And yet, it was over after a few shipments. We should try with granite 1:1, that usually worked well in the past weeks.
  10. Last week i had this "client not responding" and "BE kicked out" blahblah error/bug too. Then the rejoin button not worked anymore, i could not log in, only if i choosed the grid manually via a join new atlas. But, when i joined, i could no interact with my stuffs, and the UI was messed up too... It was scary, i just built my brig a few days before that, i not wanted to loose that ship. Then I googled a little bit and found a solution what was simple enough. I followed this guide from the steam forum and since then, i have no problem. https://steamcommunity.com/app/834910/discussions/0/1742231705665013001/ But, worth to notice, at this time the G3 grid was completly unplayable: constant 250 latency, rubberbanding effect on the ocean, small hickups, etc. Then the last week a patch came and solved this lagging, from that - for me at least - G3 is now lagless with 40-50 latency. This is important, because i read somewhere, that the lag is can cause this "battle eye kicking out" bug, so if the grid is unplayable, then the anticheat software is can act wierd. Anyhow, the problem is now gone, maybe you should try that fix what i linked.
  11. Well, we already have a "remove animals/person/creature from the ship" option if someone sleepin on your deck, or some animals (birds) landing on your deck. In this case you can kick the unwelcomed guest out of your ship. We need this method applied to the docks. With an additional "move blocking ships out" option we could move the blocking ship forward/away 20-30 meter (distance depends on the shipyard scale) into the ocean (after this, the blocking ship status would be unanchored), so the shipyard would be clear and you can build your ship and then you can leave your yard without a collision. Im not a developer, but maybe this isnt a big scripting/programing challenge.
  12. Yeah, i saw. I accepted again the offer at this morning (2 hours ago) and as i saw, it started working (with granites) again. Dont know why, but for time to time we need destroy and redeploy the markets and offers. Lets hope it will last a few days again.
  13. Ok, thanks, i will set private when the partners are online, so we can correct if need. Probably when the system will use more grid than the local one, that will help reduce the lag a lot, youre right. Atm, my grid we have only a 8-10 warehouse only, but the ping is alwas 220-255, unplayable and with rubberbanding, the sailing is off the table too.
  14. In the last 2 weeks i had an active Market with one or two routes (dont know why, never had 3 or more routes at the same time), in Lawless grid. As i saw, my and my partners income was 100-120 gold / hour / partner. We talked about the offers in the grid chat, so we set up offers with same input and output. Strognwood for strongwood, copper for copper, granite for granite, etc. - we had no other choice with the actual trade limitation (working for same grid only, set by the devs, we all have same goods). We both had public market, not private. As we noticed, the important thigs are: - same input, same output - well, you do this for gold at the moment, not for resources - same ratio in both side, 1:1 working well - same input/output means you will no run out for resource, because you sent 1300 strongwood and you will get back 1300(ish) strongwood. In some cases random event came (fire on board, mutiny, captain gambling away the goods, etc) and you will loose your goods, but if you start trading 100k resources, that will last long enough. - Usually after 2-3 days our trades always stopped. We had still an "accepted" route, we had enough resources, we didnt go beyond the 8 trade route limit, but still, the system stopped working. In these cases we had to destroy the market structure, redeploy it and set up again the offers and send/accept a request. After that, everything worked again for 2-3 days. - Looks like its important, to set up offers first in your "right side panel", then accepts offers or send request in the left panel. Maybe im wrong and this was only unfortunatly accident, but when we both modified the offers with an active trade routes with active ships, the whole trade system soon stopped working. If we didnt modify the routes and the first offers, then it was working for days.
  15. Yeah, they probably restarted the grid/server. Btw our trade stopped, dont know why, but if your other trades are also down, then you should rebuild the market. In every 2-3 days i always destroy and rebuild the Market structure and after that the trade routes are working again.
  16. Hey, yeah, something is wrong with G3, its really hard to reconnect since the last night (around 8-9 hours ago), and the battle eye is started working strange. But only when i log out then wanna relog in to G3, the other grids are fine.
  17. Ok, let me reverse the situation and ask a question: What you say, how realist is that before this season every single poor fellow pirate could build a Galleon within a day or two? Less with animals, more with bare hands? Schooner and Brig was a question of hours. None used a sloop, everyone started with a schooner. Even now, in season 4, with a buggy, messy and not working trade system WITHIN A SAME GRID could you make a 50k income within a two week (i did 22k in 6 day with only 2 partners and literally i did not nothing, in every 5 mins i got 1-10 gold/trade/partner). If trade will go outside of the grid, the gold bonus will go higher, so more gold will come (x2, x3, etc), then you will get that ammount faster. I dont mind, if the ships has "value", if you need work for it, even if its hard or long. We talking about Galleons, the biggest haulers of the seas, cmon, not a simple boat... OR, lets convert the Atlas into an arcade game, or even "better" (/sarcasm), into a battle royale: everyone spawn with a ship and go, pewpew each other, then the last one wins. Resources? Taming? Golds? Bosses? No need, just free ship and cannonballs... The required gold ammount for a ship need to be balanced, thats true, and the method of aquiring gold is also need to be changed. But remember, in these days not a single thing is working in the game, not even a sailing with these lags and rubberbanding. We talking about ideas, new methods, tests - and we are the labrats. Nothing is final.
  18. For me there would be 2-2-2 ships with small/medium/large planks: 1.: Raft, "Ramshackle Sloop" and original Sloop: free (the starting ship to travels small distances inside the grid) 2. New: "Ramshackle" Schooner: 1000 gold (less hp, less weight, prefab planks + deck and with maximum 5-6 sailor/animal. No gunports. Its an exlporer ship to the next 1-2 grid, you can use treasure map hunting, or for small scale resource transport) 3. Schooner: 3000 - 4000 gold, the original one, with full customization 4. Brig: 8 000 - 10 000 gold: the original one with full customization 5. NEW: 20 000 - 25 000 gold: as you wrote earlier, something "Frigate like" ship with large planks, bigger than Brig, but smaller than the gally (less gunports, less capacity, less weight and hp, etc.). Typical combat ship. 6. Galleon: 40 000 - 50 000, the original one. And one more thing: like in Elite Dangerous, probably we could use an "insurance" system. For example: 1. first, you have to build a prefab structure (like the bank, market, etc) for 500-1000 gold. 2. Then you need keep this structure up with gold, maybe with 10 gold/day/ship ammount. 3. Then you need to "connect" or "register" your ship to this structure (dunno, maybe maximum 2-3 ships / structure). 4. Then, if you loose your ship (doesnt matter the cause), you will get a "rebuild token" from the prefab structure where you was connected with. Then you can go to your shipyard and you can (re)build a bare skeleton in the shipyard with the token, and ofcourse without spending gold. (ofc, you need register the ship again in this time) With this, you can act more freely in the game without loosing everything in a second. Ofcourse, when someone destroys the insurance prefab structure with your ship connection, you need to find a new one, or without "contract" your ship will be gone forever, so you should defend it. (Sorry for my english, but i hope you can understand)
  19. Fill your warehouse some strongwood and/or fronds and lets make some golds in G3! I saw earlier youre back in the same spot (me too - old habits die hard), but i wondered, why you dont have offer - in the trade route filter youre with 0 materials. We had a chat in the grid chat last night and this morning, more and more company joined with "wood for wood and with fronds for fronds (with 1:1 ratio)", so if you can establish some route with they too, thats a nice passive income.
  20. Hey Sea Dogs! From last night, we already estabilished a trade routes and as partners 2-3 ships already made some gold for both of us (im from The Valentines, Alafil Atoll in G3). The trick is - at this state of the trade limits -, to create an offer with those materials what you can harvest in the grid, with 1:1 ratio. Its better, if the input and output is same, for example: strongwood for strongwood, fronds for fronds, copper for copper, etc, because when i send you 3000 wood, you will send me 3000 wood, so the demand and she supply will stay same, the material wont run out. You can mix these, strongwood for copper, or fronds for strongwood, but in this case make sure, you will have enough material to keep this for long. At this moment its better to make a few and simple offer, instead of mixing materials with different ratio than 1:1. We already made some golds in the last few hours, so if we keep this up, its a nice passive income for the next days/weeks.
  21. Well, thats a possible answer, yes. At least i think we both didnt change anything, because it worked like a charm, there was no reason. I took your advice, and destroyed then recreated the market, now i have a clear trade route's panel - no more inacitve and undeletable routes. I dont know it will work or not, but at least i tried something new, already sent some request.
  22. For me the coins started to come / the system started to work when 1. i changed the market private then back to public (probably it means nothing, but why not?) 2. Suspended then unsuspended the Market (remember the first rule if something is wrong: reboot - Gomez destroyed then rebuilt the market and that worked for him too) 3. Then i deleted all of my offers and i put back only a few, manageable offer from a same input and output with 1:1 ratio. For example, i had 4 offer: strongwood for strongwood 1:1, Fronds for Fronds 1:1, Granite for Granite 1:1 and Honey for Honey 1:1. 4. I had 5-6 accepted trade routes, 2 canceled and maybe 1-2 sent or received. I made business only with 1 tribe/company, i sent to them wood and received the exact same ammount. Same with thatch. For 30 hours, in every 5-6 mins a new shipment has been generated beetween us. Sometimes i got 9 gold from it, sometimes only 1 gold, sometimes the ship captain stole my whole cargo, or got different materials or parrot eggs as bonus reward. These random mini events/random stories probably are there only for some fun. I could trade in the same region only (because of the dev's limitation), and in these 30 hour period i got 3000-3500 gold, so this gave me around a 100-110 gold per hour passive income. I think, later, when the devs will allow trading with different grid, this ammount will be higher, much higher. So, if you have a warehouse+market combo, this system can generate the gold ammount you need for tier 2-3-4 ships in a few a days/weeks. But, then suddenly this morning it was over, dont ask why, i dont know. After i go home from work i wanna figure out...
  23. Well, nice to hear, grats! Unfortunatly mine stopped working at this morning, dont know why. But, fortunatly, in the 30 hour(ish) lifetime generated a few thousand gold, thats still better, than nothing. Still i dont know, how to delete the "sent" or "cancelled" trade routes from the bottom-left panel/list. The limit is 10 trade routes, so i can't add more before i delete or remove a few unusable route. But how? One more thing: so the magic number is 8, as you said, with 9 or 10 trade routes the system will not work?
  24. First, i had to google what "JACK SQUAT" means - i learned a new expression, ty I have a market+warehouse combo, i set up some a few trade routes - with you too (im still from The Valentines) - and then nothing happened for a week. No ship, no income, nothing. Then last night it started working. How? Dont know, but maybe caused by that i deleted almost every offer, i reconnected the warehouse and suspended/unsuspended the whole bunch. Then i set up only a few offer with same input and output. For example strongwood for strongwood, with 1:1 ratio, Fronds for Fronds, etc. (because of the same grid limitation), then i logged out. After i logged in this morning during my cafee time, there was 500+ gold in my warehouse (with few cannon balls (200), with a 4 fertilized parrot eggs and with some random stuff (10-20 piece random wood, stone, etc) - probably got them from some random "event" of the market ship's journey). As i saw the log, in every 5 mins a new ship started to another market with 1700 strongwood for 1700 strongwood in return. This gave me sometimes 1 gold, sometimes 9 gold, etc. / trade. 500 gold is almost nothing in these days in Atlas. You cant do anything with that ammount (okay, you can hire some sailor to your sloop(s), but nothing more), and from 2-3 wrecks you got the same ammount of gold in a half hour. But as passive income, well, it can come handy anytime. I agree with you, this game and its mechanics is so broken, so untested, so messy... I never saw or experienced anything like this. The only thing keep me in the game is designing and building a ship. But, in this season they took away this aspect, not completly, but they made it hard.
  25. As far i know in PVE servers you can harm (with overweight or overcrew) ships only in the anchoring phase (that 15 mins with white anchor sign), and you cant do anything against a ship after its fully anchored (green anchor sign).
