  2. Alphas in this game are beyond awful and are runing an otherwise really fun game. I've lost almost all my tames to just randomly running into alpha wolves and lions of which there are FAR too many. There is no hope to beat or get away from a 245 alpha lion. I had a 60 bear with nothing but health pumped and an alpha lion took it out in three bites after it took me out in one. They are too hard to kill, don't give anything worthwhile if you kill them and are far too numerous. Something needs to be done about these things ASAP.
  3. I like the claim system idea for sure. It would be a nice change to the system and make it mean something as you progress.
  4. I would like to see all skill trees automatically open, more so because as a new player I have no idea what some of them do. It would be nice for new players to be able to see what they'd like to spec into ahead of time. Having them behind an unlock wall is just wasting precious points in my opinion. I have to put a point in it, then another point just to actually get said item. I'd love to honestly see it cleaned up a bit and organized better. Right now with all the arrows this way and that it's just a jumbled up mess. Instead of having to have so much of this to unlock this seemingly unrelated item (fist fighting to unlock beastmastery?????) have them more linear with linked skills requiring one before the other. Put them in straight easy to understand rows and adjust costs as needed. I feel the previous point value was far too low and this one is far too harsh. With some actual adjustment and reorganization I think we could get to a happier middle ground. I also agree some sort of respec after 51 is needed. once a day wouldn't be too bad or 12 hours or something so it isn't abused.
  5. Give a clear decay timer for PVE claim flags. This way there is no guesswork if the person has been there or not/you running around with your claim flag out trying to see if it's able to be claimed. If the person is not on in X amount of time it's demo allowed for easy claim or have it auto delete on decay after like a week or two.
  6. It you go over to Atlas at the top when you're in your inventory there is a circle with grids on it. If you push that it will put them on your map. Hope this helps!
  7. It is limited to the server region you're on. At least for NA PVE official it is. So in M6 you'll only hear people in M6 as far as local, I don't think there is a way to turn just local chat on unless you make a private server like in ark. I do think you should be able to push a key like in ark and talk locally. I changed the key in ark, and can't honestly remember what the original key was, though.
  8. I agree it feels very sparse and would like to see more balancing done here. Compared to the predators on land fish are almost non-existent.
  9. +1 for change and wipe. This needs to happen for PVE as soon as possible. I had to work for the first two days and all of the land we've seen is already claimed. I can't imagine new people coming into the game in a week or more will even have a chance. I'm not sure how land claims currently work but if it doesn't currently it needs to decay so those that leave can be removed and not clog the server.
  10. I agree. We're actually stuck from progressing past a raft because of flag spam. We sailed for 6 straight hours yesterday and didn't find any land either before we honestly just got tired of going to island after island and seeing it claimed by 1 maybe 2 tribes. We logged off and honestly were not sad about logging off because we were so frustrated. We want to play officials so we get the full experience of the game, but not being able to move forward may drive us to unofficial or make us stop playing eventually. I'm hoping a solution for this is in the works. I don't see why ANYONE in this game needs an entire island. The goal is to explore on ships not build massive bases on land. If you want that there is another game this company put out that is probably better suited to you. If we were allowed to spawn on beds in unclaimed land there would have been a few places that we could have built that was not claimed but too close to claimed territory.
