Did you read what he said? OT: Sir, I don’t know if you know this but launching a game with 60K players trying to log in at the same time on the same server is something nobody can simulate. Everyone with atleast some sense knew this was going to happen. It has been YOUR and other people’s decision to come and play an early access game, and it is your decision to leave. But please, don’t be that guy that tells other people the developers are ignoring their game, you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. Maybe try to read something more next time you start a topic like this. Grapeshot’s reputation down the drain? Oh please.

Do you think they’re not doing that right now? They’re probably the only gaming company that works during christmas. Give it some time, it is an early access and fixing this load on servers is hard for every developer.

Lots of communication and fixes have been done. But better refund if you don’t like early access games.

You could know it in advance though. As for it though: I’m pretty sure we’re going to see ‘small company’ servers at some point along the way. For now you should either join a big company (some are recruiting) or look for a good private server. There have been lots of problems with setting up private servers but when those are solved we will see a lot more fun servers to hang around on.

Yes, agree with it. You want to be doing other stuff rather than keeping your vitamins up all the time. Also agree with the claiming. Every company is allowed to have 1 island only. This makes trading/raiding trade ships more important. Ofcourse that needs to be looked at balance wise, since some islands can be pretty OP with their resources than other islands.

Well everything does disappear so no harm there.

A human being is considered dead after 1 day without water in those circumstances. So water I understand, food can be way less decay same goes for the vitamins. What you see now with the vitamins is that everyone just suicides when they’re out of vitamins. Bit shame but understandable, you don’t want to be dealing with all those things when you’re doing more important stuff.

No this is intended. You spawn anywhere on the grid, there is no 1 spawn point per grid.

When you launch it through steam it should give you the option. Atleast that was the case with ARK

The ship has no decay or something? Because there will be many ship battles out on sea which people will never salvage.

Oh you mean like ship material harvesting? You have the diving suit and everything? I thought that all chests that were locked on the ship would open when it sunk so you could get everything from the chests. I’m not sure if you can harvest the ship itself, does it says so anywhere ingame?

Decay is an issue. In my opinion the raft decay is fine and necessary, but for every ship above that... at this point we have 3 schooners and almost all we do is checking on them, repairing, and repeat. I get the decay, but nobody wants it to control the game. Decay when the ship is stable and ankered shouldn’t be in the game or extremely slow. Decay can be more when you’re travelling in a storm or something

Haven’t tried this, but you can customize faction flags if you paint them, maybe that it changes for every flag and also the picture on the dynamic map?

Well I believe everyone with a functioning brain could’ve thought about this scenario? There are dozens if not hundreds of players not buying the game these first few weeks because they saw it coming. I bought the game (with a small group of friends, it’s different when you have a large group) knowing the progress will not be huge these first few days/weeks. Launches with these many players on that little servers.. make it go right immediately and you’re in for a nobel prize.

I knew what I was getting into, evidently.

I hope it won’t be anytime soon. But eventually that will happen.
