I want to keep the rules as simple as possible. Besides not being a jerk to people, griefing … 1. Open PVP on the Open seas.This means both ships are moving. If you attack someone and they surrender by (Chat, and lowering their sails as a sign of surrender) you must call off the attack. You are permitted to make demands from them, ransom their ship back to them etc. If they refuse, they are at your mercy. (Don’t ask for unrealistic things but maybe they will owe you etc. If the aggressor loses they are at your complete mercy you can sink them or demand ransoms. 2. Land bases. No offline PVP No total destruction of bases or animals. Again if they surrender they have to yield what you want to take. Most of us like to build nice buildings, villages etc. Which is why this is “lite” pvp so people don’t have to worry about jerks destroying everything. You need to make sure someone live if at the base – via chat etc. npc’s don’t count. If you come into a heavily defended base you are free to engage if they are there and until one side surrenders. On bases that are built more for trade etc you can come in and demand a payment not to engage etc. 3. PVE grids are for PVE players who want to set up merchant villages etc. PVE grids are not to be used as a safe haven for you to build a base then go raid others. If you are caught doing so then you are open to attack. Once you leave PVE grids you are open to ROE. If you are attacked and can manage to make it back to PVE grid the aggressor is not allowed to continue attacks in that area. (anyone if under attack and can make it the PVE area if safe until they leave area again.) 4. Low key admin. This means that we are only going to get involved in server issues & cheaters. We are not going to replace or help with anything that happens in game or because of issues. If you lose your ship due to a glitch like passing through grids that is considered an “act of God” Same with animals. The only exception is if you have insurance thru Supporting the server. Hey all, I am having a really hard time trying to farm and get stuff done around my claim because the island I am on seems to have 20+ wolves in one area. They are right on my beach, through my forest and all through out the back end of my claim. The wild life populations are severely out of control and I am finding myself sitting out multiple day cycles and night cycles because the wolves just won't go away. I cannot fight 3 - 4 wolves at once with one being an alpha wolf lvl 214 when I am only 18..when I can hardly put down one. They hit way to hard, the dps out put is way to high, the aggro range needs to be reduced even so with the beast tame traits that give you less visibility to them. I feel like they still aggro from a mile away. I also have tried other islands and it is the same story with the gators and snakes. I understand the concept of having an elite patrol pack of something because that makes the land feel dangerous but when the lands are just flooded with these types of alphas and predators it makes it hard to do anything at lower levels. Now with all this being said here is what I would look at to change from my opinion. 1. Reduce population greatly 2. Look at how and where they are spawning.( I have literally had wolves attack me and spawn in water) 3. 1 alpha shows in area between the stages of 2-3 day cycles 1- 2 night cycles. ( not predictable though) 4. Reduce Damage output and DPS output. This is way to high because I have tested specing into health and I still get put down faster then I can draw a weapon. 5. How they patrol around the land. I understand of having a pack of a dangerous something roaming around to make the land feel more dangerous but they seem to only patrol and flood beaches. Then the interactions with other animals cause them to run inland and flood inland. There may be bottle necks that need to be looked at I honestly don't know. 6. Reduced Aggro range. I think this would benefit players not specing into Beast Mastery and the players that are spec'd into it would benefit more with the reduced visibility. Right now both feel broken. 7. General Wild Life can sometimes halfway walk through and poke there heads through base walls. I have aggro'd wolves while being inside my base from this. Obviously they aren't supposed to do that and being inside is supposed to feel safe and it doesn't at some times. I have almost 100 hours played and I am really loving this game and the quick fixes that you guys are putting out. I am sure there have been many posts about this already. I am not a game designer or creator at any level and this is just my opinion. Keep it up dev team you guys are doing an awesome job and I am greatly appreciated to be a part of an amazing game that is still yet to be developed. I am sure that you guys are very much aware of this and it will be worked on at some point. Thank you!

A mysteries force started appearing around the world reports of undead warriors and powerful ships of the dammed flooded in. Overnight the pirate fleets that ran the seas where decimated. Five pirate nations came together to form one powerful alliance in hopes of fighting off this new evil. All was good for a short time but this magic slowly corrupted one of the 5 factions. People from the other 4 factions started hearing rumors of people vanishing in the night, buildings being taken over by dark forces, and ships docked safely in the harbor started to sink with no explanation. An investigative team was sent in by the other 4 nations and discovered a plot to overthrow and destroy the alliance from within. With this knowledge the 4 nations quickly came up with a war plan to purge the evil from our land. The world is now a chaotic mess and we will do what we must to protect our land even if it means purging our lands of a once ally. The time had come for war! Shooting a flame arrow on the ground / on a stone wall sets it on fire. It's a broken mechanic in raiding and pvp. Maybe make oil grenades that you can throw somewhere, shooting a flame arrow at that location sets it on fire. Also please make it so that you can't hit people on the other side of the wall with flame arrows.. We got raided by chinese members and were unable to fight back because we got burned upon spawn in a relatively "safe" area. The only viable pvp weapon right now is flame arrows. A headshot with a pistol against a fully plated dude does 15 ish damage. A flame arrow against a fully plated dude does 100+? damage... And this is after it got "nerfed"

Yayyrrghhh Land Lubbers !! Ex hosts of Ark are now running a 4 x 4 grid server (16 servers/zones all Atlas content), with more to come in time. We also have the powerstone enabled and correctly working /configured. The box we are using is a dedicated data centre server hosted in the UK. This server has a lot of juice with options to expand at a later date, if the maps become overcrowded. Rates are currently at x5, which makes things go along enough that it doesnt feel you are powering through the game. Slight buffs to carry weight on players, but not on boat. The way the grid works, top part of the map is pvp, bottom is pve, as there isnt any orp, the pve zones guarantee you cant have your stuff offline raided. Is it possible to have a character both on PVP and PVE?

¿Podría ser la solucion que los desarrolladores crearán facciones en Atlas? Mi sugerencia es que el Mapa de Atlas estuviera dividido por 4 facciones , el norte, el sur, el este y el oeste, las cuales te de la opción de elegir en cuál de ellas quieres empezar la aventura, esto ya te daria derecho a poder crear tu hogar i/o amarre en cualquier isla de tu sector, con esto todo los jugadores tendrían la oportunidad de avanzar sea solo o en grupo compartiendo hogar y flota mediante creación de clanes (ejemplo)dentro de la facción del norte. Con esto el pvp los asaltos y raids serían entre facciones y no por la lucha por el terreno ya que cada una siempre conservan el suyo, sería más la guerra o el comercio entre unas y otras, poder entrar en terreno enemigo para robar matar o destruir , también para la búsqueda de recursos, batallas navales en el mar misiones conjuntadas etc. Creo que esto le daria la oportunidad a jugadores solitarios y a pequeños grupos, ¿que os parece la idea? Se admiten sujerencias.

Esto es una pequeña propuesta para los desarrolladores, estaría bien poder ir mejorando nuestro barco, es decir, empiezas por el más pequeño galeón para posteriormente poder ir mejorándolo al siguiente que le precede sólo aportando la diferencia de materiales necesarios entre el uno y el otro, así sucesivamente asta conseguir el galeón más grande. Por supuesto que aquellos que quieran ir directamente al galeón mediano i/o más grande , puedan hacerlo igualmente con el sistema actualmente implementado.
