  1. EU - PvP Colonies - Ressources are not respawning any longer due to foundations. Which is a big problem for the entire concept on letting people life on your Island. We are now forced to not accept new settlers because we are running out of ressources due to this. Please remove it again like it used to be or decrease the radius massivly. Thank you :)
  2. the price did not raise because someone else moved there: they changed the payment for upkeep from every 12 hours to every 24 hours, thats why it shows double of the amount.
  3. Honestly I doubt they build the house there on purpose. Unlike in ARK the spawn-points for some Islands are very random and weird. There is no way of knowing them all. You can spawn onto an Island several times and each time u get the same spawn point, meanwhile your company-mate spawns somewhere completly else every single spawn.
  4. where did you find these numbers? Is this confirmed? because with this forumal you would get 195.51 points with 3 people.
  5. It's not double the cost per se! they simply changed the upkeep to be paid every 24 hours and not every 12 hours. Look at your timers! Could not confirm yet if that means the initial costs will be like at the start (as example 99) or the same like the 24 hours upkeep (198)
  6. I reread the patchnotes and noticed this: So now it even says smaller groups and not mid-sized groups anymore. How are 50 ppl per company + the 200 from the alliance small?
  7. These are 2 diffrent things. every Island is everyday vurnerable for 9 hours. In these 9 hours everything can be attacked and the Island can be stolen. The owner of the Island decides at which hours these 9 hours per day start The War-Tokken is an item you craft and use onto an Island from someone else: that Island will enter the War-Status no matter of the 9-hour-Rule above. This War lasts for a specific amount of time and after that the Island goes back to it's only raidable during 9-hour a day rythm. I hope I managed to explain it in a good way
  8. I’ve seen so many extremely good suggestions here in the forum about how to improve basic things we are currently testing on the PTRs. The problem I see is time though. Some of the suggestions, ideas would need some testing because they change core-features. Beside that we had barely any time to test Empire and PvE. In honor of the mighty Whitebeard I would like to know what everyone therefor thinks about the following ideas: - Keep the PTRs running and tweak them. Test numbers and suggested mechanics as much as possible. Go wild! If needed wipe em and redeploy them and so on. - Wipe EU-PvP and test on that one an Empire-Version with the Colonie-rules but for the big- and mega-companies. There have been countless threads here huge companies defending their move to Colonies “because it’s the better System than Empire”. This would give room to the big and mega companies to test this idea. - Aim for release of 1.5 fix date with fix hours – next week right before easter. Nobody would be able to blame the devs in that case for launching at unreasonable hours/dates. Personally I would rather wait 1 more week but have many different options tested than having to go through another wipe in some months because core-features have to be changed. Thoughts?
  9. Bigger Tribes should play on Emprie and not on the Server for solo/small/mid-sized companies - like envisioned from the devs.
  10. Agree with the points here. How about this "quick" fix: the ship cannons (medium) can't be mounted any longer on a cart. Create an extra cannon just for cart: Small Cart Cannon and limit it's range so puckles are viable. Like that the ship-cannons wont be affected by any nerf and they could try diffrent numbers for the cart cannon and tweak it. It either uses the medium cannon balls or small cannon balls. Raiding with bear would still stay very viable, but not as brainless OP as it is now.
  11. Here some thoughts from our company after extensive testing on the PTR: We went in to test and look at this from the way the Colonies-system was announced: for small till mid-size Companies. Not for big and mega-companies. So we went it and tested with this in mind with only a few people (we are otherwise allied with a mega-company). - First off: I love the Discord-Webhook-feature! It works great and was not difficult to install at all. Fantastic tool! Also love the fact you can decide what should be posted from the bot. - the entire idea behind the Colonies-System is great. It needs changes with numbers though to be valid for small/mid-companies. As it is now the Colonies-System is still focused on mega-companies and they profit the most. The company-limit is way to high as of now and does not force mega-companies to the Empire-System. 1 company = 50 people + 4 Allys a 50 ppl = 250 people in total that can play together without to big issues. 250 people are NOT a small or midd-sized company. They even profit from splitting into allies by getting more Island-Points in total like this. - This goes on to the 9 hours war-time: it's way to long for small/mid-size companies. People in this range have jobs and families. It is absurd to somehow come up with a window of 9 hours a day for this group of people. It is completly fine on Empire - but this is EXCLUSIVLY ment for small/mid-sized groups. NOT the hardcore zerg-groups. Because of this its also not valid to counter this argument with something like: get bigger and find people from diffrent time-zones. Thats fine for Empire yes, but not for Colonies. - The 9 hours are also an issue because stealing an Island is super fast. Don't get me wrong: I like the fact it goes so fast! It makes the game more dynamical. But because it's so fast, the war-time is more important. Shorten the window. Or as alternative maybe have diffrent long hours for the diffrent Island-sizes? The big ones have 9 hours, the middle ones 6 and the small ones 4? Just an idea. - Continue to extend the settlement-feature. There are some great ideas around here on the forum. Much potential with this. We found also that this is a possibility to attract people that would be intrested in PvP but went to PvE because they hate the offline raiding. We allready found people that would come from PvE and are willing to give PvP a try and wan't to settle on a Island with a good landowner. - We really like all the new items. The large wall is great and price seems reasonable. The symbiose between Bank and claimflag is fantastic! It helps to secure an island big time. Very well done! The 2x2 gate is a great addition. Keep things like that coming! Islands - we traveld and explored extensivly - the only Grids we did not research are the Polar ones and H8 (ofc): - Many of the new Island messed up spawns of entire servers. As example the western tundra Servers have huge issues: some islands have overpopulated spawns meanwhile other islands are nearly empty of spawns (only have some flyers). - To many Islands are wasted by being unusable. It doesn't help anyone if you add so many new islands but a big numbers is not usable at all because a key ressource got forgotten. As example having copper as main-metal but forgot to plant a sugar-spawn on 1 of the islands in the server, meanwhile the others have it. Meanwhile some Islands are simply broken OP-good. - To many Islands are wasted by really bad, weird conditions of the ocean-floor around the islands. According to the latest patch notes this should have been fixed - could not confirm this yet. Something entire diffrent.... please for the love of blackbeard: MIND THE TIMEZONES WHEN LAUNCHING THE NEW SERVERS. There is no reason to launch the EU-servers at 3 am for EU. This is a perfect example of cattering to mega-companies. They can afford to rush an island at 3 am: small/middle-ones with ppl that have jobs and families can't. There are enough time-windows that works somewhat for all involved timezones. And if you can't agree on one then split the launch or push it to the next morning. This is something that is easy managable but has a huge inpact on how people will feel about the game. If Colonies are really ment for the small/middle-sized companies -> don't launch it through hardcore hours. You can hear left and right how people are saying: if we don't manage an Island this time - thats it for us. I've forgotten probably some things and will add more later.   12. I think the basic idea of having a version for small/midsize companies was a good idea. But unfortunately the end-result favors the big companies. Like ragnar said: the 50 cap limits for a company does not bother a single mega company. They ally up and get more Island points like that. If the devs really are intrested in making this version for REAL small/middlesize companies they need to tweek the numbers hard! - Limit company-member to 10 or so (not sure about the sweet spot there) and limit the alliances like originaly planed. Keep the big picture in mind: company 10 member + 4 allys w 10 = a total of 50 ppl. Which I allready consider more than just a middlesize companie! - 9 hours of war-time is simply to long for REAL small/middlesize companies. We talk here about ppl that have 3 - 10 people in the company. People that have jobs and families but still enjoy PvP. It's completly unrealistic to expect this small amount of people to cover 9 hours of war-time every day. When exactly should people choose to have the war-time? - Not sure the war-tooken should be a thing for small/midsize companies btw: we are a small company allied with a top5 mega and owning our own Island One addition to people that claim it won't affect the megas if you limit the tribe/alliance numbers - this is simply not true. People seem to forget about how much NPCs do in battles. Sure you can go and have huge fight and half of your mega companie is not allied - but that means they will be targeted by your NPCs as well and so on.
  13. After using the search-window and then hitting the Transfer-All-Button, nothing happens and the view goes back to the overall-view. Example: - Bookshelf with many maps - I type "K7" into the search-field of the Bookshelf so it shows me all maps from K7 - I hit the Transfer All-Button - Nothing gets transferd and it shows me the entire content of the Bookshelf again.
