I got no hydra or drake in the kings arena, It's a bit frustrating as I want the sub.

well I levved from him anyway and I wanted to see what would be in the cage next, as it changes quite often. First alpha so far though.

Not one to boast, but I beat a level 232 Alpha scorp in blackwood single handed. And the fact he was locked up in a cage and couldn't attack me, very self convincingly possibly had no influence on me winning this epic very maybe one sided battle. Not at all.

Yeh I had Everything gone from a glitch after an update, didn't really want to quit so I now play single player and will go back to eu server at xbox launch. But tbh I really enjoy single player. And now it doesn't bother me at all that I lost everything. It's easy enough to re-build when I'm ready. Good luck to you, you never know you might be back again in the future.

true but considering we used to have to queue to join, but tbh there are so many mmo's to chose from now and you can only commit your time to a few at any one go. So i'm not surprised some have dwindling numbers really.

play conan exiles then, I go on a server that now has only 1 or 2 people playing daily.

Yeh I wish they would put the demolish command in the same place for everything cos I demolished my sail once while being chased by sotd and ended up dead in the water. doh, never accidentally scuttled it though.

I love boat building so much it's now taking me longer because i'm building them to exact specs and i'm getting fussier about how they look now too. I won't sail them till they're exactly how I want them.

I always find it odd that you can't urinate though, I'm sure many a sailor owes their life to having to drink their own wee.

Anyone else got no 3 headed hydra spawn in the ruins of kings arena? no dragon either. If anyone found a solution could you let me know. Many thx

I think it would be a great feature if you could hang shields and/or swords as well as lanterns on the wall hook it just seems a bit of a waste of a feature for it as it is and shields would look great round a ship.

Well I noticed the devs said they were considering factions so I thought i'd start a thread about it. I've played Eso and WOW for literally years and for good or bad they've both had this kind of system. The reason I think 2 factions works better than 3 is self explanatory in a way meaning how popular cops n robbers, goodie vs baddie style games and tv media has been over the years. I also think two is more straight forward and simpler to understand. I remember years ago when I first joined ESO I couldn't make my mind up which faction to join it took ages cos there were 3 to choose from. Bearing in mind on ESO you can play multiple characters, here you cannot. For me if it was just Pyrate or navy I'd go straight for Pyrate, but If they gave you the option to change sides i'd prob do that too just for the different experience. Either way it's worth debating as it is something the devs are considering. Better to get your voice in now than when it's too late.

Well it didn't occur to some that I might not be up for the idea of factions myself but as you musta read I said if they do go ahead with factions then I'd like to see just two simple factions. Eso have 3 for pvp and In my experience it's the two strongest that team up unfortunately. So i'd rather just have two. If it was balanced properly it could work, and at least in pvp it would take away the spiteful bored player who has no one to fight so blows up your base while you are offline because you are a smaller group and can't retaliate. Which has happened to me, in conan exiles. Also to be pyrates you do have to have someone to pyrate against and two factions would level the playing field in terms of numbers. Oh and as for the snarky little jibe,Baah, at my age i'm more bothered by blockages in my sewage pipe than verbal sewage on a forum, but thx for trying anyway.

If they do go ahead with factions then i'd like to see it as a simple navy versus pyrate, where you choose your side at the start screen. maybe with the ability to change sides but earn a bounty on your head if you do, Choosing your own country naval flag would be a nice feature too. I mean who doesn't like a straight forward cops n robbers style of entertainment? And at least it would be in keeping with the golden age of pyracy.

Oh yeh I like turtle back riding, just to see how far I can travel on it's back. (this is not a metaphor for some other kind of private fetish activity btw).

Oh yeah and I know it's in single player but the kings arena area on the hydra island of blackwood is absolutely stunning

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I love the fishing, I don't even mind the mini game with it, and you get gold for fishing too.

there are a few minor differences but the claiming part is still the same. Didn't affect me as I was on lawless.

Ok so even though according to some people on these forums I shouldn't be enjoying the game without feeling guilty, I actually do enjoy playing. So I am asking anyone else who enjoys playing to comment on this topic when they get a chance and maybe mention the best bits. For me It's boat building and the sunsets are amazing. I'm sure it won't be long before this topic has an attempt at derailment which I personally will ignore. And I know posting good things here is likely to get a loada backlash but I'm just getting tired of hearing all the negative. Please post if you like the game and what you like most. thx.

I still play conan exiles and on the server there are roughly 4 people at a time, it used to be so packed you had to wait to log in. no one on there considers it a dead mmo. and the map is much smaller than atlas. I agree that the time they are spending on the multi platform version is stopping them from doing anything here with the pc version because of it's release in november, and a lot of people aren't happy about it. But the fact remains that these types of posts are not helping the population of atlas grow, which apparently is what most people are unhappy about, the lack of players. And don't try to tell me at my age and experience that negativty has no affect on people buying, just look up ratners, he lost his whole business with one negative remark. And having a good friend who worked the stock exchange for years the panicking is started by rumours first. anyone caught doing it here can be sacked and fined. I understand the moaning and groaning about the game I get that, But just constantly quoting figures? For what benefit? What's the motive? To encourage more people to buy and play? And as far as I know we all paid for the game and I'll also be buying the xbox version too. And btw a lot of people quit playing online cos of griefing too, that's other people for you not the devs. All said and done I and some others are happy with the game, others aren't. This is a forum and you'll get both.

That wasn't an argument against a wipe, that was just what will happen if they do.
