EU PvE server has been shut down and wiped in preparation for Public Test Server. Anything you had there is gone. In a week or two, all servers will be wiped in preparation for "big/bug" update. Everyone starts over. ps. "big/bug" you decide which.

In all probability, there will not be seperate NA/EU servers. Just... Empire PvP Colony PvP PvE ps, and the Empire server will probably be the lowest pop. Just a guess.

There will almost certainly be another server wipe, probably not in April, but at some other point. Early Access means the game is still in development, which means there may be several wipes before full Launch. -
One week PTR is enough for identifying the big problems. The little ones will be addressed in a few months with the next wipe. Or the wipe after that.

I understand that's how it is supposed to work, just that it rarely ever works out that way in a practical sense.

It is a complete wipe, characters and all. And the reason people are leaving in droves is because the moment the Devs announced the wipe, nothing mattered. Everything from that point on was pointless and a complete waste of time.

It would appear that any Company that wishes to keep their Harbor open will have to sweep the entrance at least every 12 hours to clear it of obstructions or they're screwed. Congratulations, a game has now become your job.

I beg to disagree, but if you signed up for an Early Access game, you DID sign up to be a game tester. If you do not want to be a game tester, don't play until full Launch.

Rule #1 of MMOs. Learn that the Devs don't care about the players as individuals. They only care about what brings them the most return in the end. If they believe an action, like a wipe will lose them 10 players, but bring them 20, they will do it. On the end, a player's opinion matters very little to them.

My question would be is that since Atlas will be in "Early Access" for at least a few years stil, how many more wipes will there be? And will there be a wipe at full Launch?
