  1. Thanks for your reply. I forgot that BattleEye used to be a problem for Atlas. I'll try adding that command line arg.
  2. CRADZ: Are you editing the ini files in \ShooterGame\Saved\Blackwood\Config\WindowsServer ? Are you able to share your commandline please (remove any passwords). I've got ShooterGameServer.exe "Blackwood?SessionName=PVE Blackwood Test?AltSaveDirectoryName=Blackwood?ServerAdminPassword=xxxx?RCONPort=27130?QueryPort=27130?Port=27135" -NoSeamlessServer -Exclusivejoin -log -server -NoCrashDialog The server appears to start and creates a save file, but I'm unable to connect. Ports are all forwarded and firewall is open (I previously used these port numbers for the Ocean map).
  3. Agreed. I was looking forwards to Blackwood being released so I could restart my unofficial server with a setup that would be easier to maintain. However, the Island razing idea sounds like it offers too much scope for griefing. So I guess I'm out.
  4. You have to stop the server before changing the config files.
  5. Have you specified the port numbers on the command line and in the json file?
  6. Don't forget to have a grid for the Maw - where the boss fight happens.
  7. Were all the new grids added to the bottom and right of the existing map, or did you renumber the existing grids to shift them down and/or right?
  8. Powerstone positions in the json file are relative to the whole map. See the line that starts with "globalGameplaySetup": "(QuestEntries= Every WorldMapPosition=(X=nnn,Y=nnn) on that line will need to be edited. When you say the claim flags are also in the water - do you mean they're in the water in the game, or they're in the water on the map?
  9. i7-7800X @ 3.99GHz, 96 MB RAM. 3x3 Atlas grid with 7 or 8 islands per grid. Hosted at home. Typically only 7 or 8 users on the map at any time. 100Mb/s up, 7Mb/s (approx.) down
  10. As an update: I've found that I get a map from a bottle when the map refers to the grid that I'm currently in. I'll update again if I find any other patterns.
  11. CPSPOK - I think you're misunderstanding the problem. When we were able to get maps from bottles, we could see the map image correctly. Now though - we don't get anything at all from the bottles. Maps do not appear in our inventories.
  12. My map is 3x3. When the server was just a few days old, all players were able to get maps from the bottles. Now though, nobody gets them.
  13. Thanks for your reply. I've already done all that. I'm using the latest grid editor. It's not that I'm seeing black map images - the maps don't go into my inventory at all
  14. Has anyone else got the problem where nothing is given when picking up bottles from the sea? Is there a fix? Is it a config problem? Thanks in anticipation.
  15. On my server: Each Atlas grid is taking between 5% and 7% CPU time and between 4 GB and 6 GB RAM. My CPU is i7-7800X 3.50GHz. I'd love to know if there are any other ways to get that CPU usage down.
  16. If the CPU load is very high, then put this in Engine.ini [/script/onlinesubsystemutils.ipnetdriver] NetServerMaxTickRate=15
  17. Apologies for the misunderstanding. Beware that TEACH's guide misses some stuff out though. It's not as complete as Drac's guide.
  18. https://www.drac346.net/2018/12/atlas-dedicated-server-setup-main-menu.html <edit> I think Drac and I must have hit reply at the same time
  19. 1. The limits are the amount of money, RAM and CPU you have. 2. A Cluster refers to Ark Survival maps - when players can cross to different maps, those maps are said to be "Clustered". 3. You need 16 ( 4 times 4) servers. 4. Kind-of. There is a map editor so you can specify exactly what you want in each grid. https://github.com/GrapeshotGames/ServerGridEditor
  20. If it's the same as Ark, then... cheat renameplayer "current name" new name Their current name has to be inside of quotation marks, but no quotes for the new name.
