not sure how the old versions of the game player but now as your game stage (you level) increases you face harder zombies now, you go from regular zombies to zombies + ferals, to zombies + ferals + radiated zombies, actually in the upcoming A18 a "Demolisher" will make its entrance too.

they seem to be a small team, and they are constantly re-revising the game (like entire core game features) and adjusting them only for the sake of making the gameplay experience better and trying new stuff and a reminder that Anthem was in "Development" for 6 years too and it didnt manage to entertain me not even 2 whole weeks

yeah alpha 18 is releasing in about a week, my bunker is getting HUUUUGE and so is my mine, almost fully automated, and the horde nights geez how can it be so much fun lol, if i want i just switch a button and i make grilled zombie meat why is it that in that game all of us wanna blow shit up, this is why we can have nice zombies omg you just gave me a wonderfull idea on how to deal with radiated ferals .. this will be fun

i 100% recomend it, the zombie hords every 7 days are tough and fun as heck. (bear in mind is in alpha state but you can expect a fully functional gameplay)

sad to hear that mate, if you arent playing anything fun atm you might want to try 7 days to die, is on alpha stage of develoment but they are releasing the alpa 18 update on early october and as of now i am having a blast on the alpha 17. some people have responsabilities, is funny how entitled some society leeches can end up being.

i do agree with all that, actually i dont understand why there is a single player mode, i would have invested that time in a story mode for the multiplayer perhaps lacking the abiility to hold a mature conversation to the very end...sigh

yes mate you have comprehension issues: 1.- I never suggested to spend a dime on anything 2.- To play solo and to play a single player game is not the same thing You can play solo in a MMO simply because "to play solo" is to achieve objectives in the game on your own while also having the option of doing it with others if you feel like it (example: sailing), while a single player mode is you being the only one in the entire game, i am not interested in a single player mode (oh and in case you have been living in a cave atlas already has a single player mode)

gliders were changed so that you could not fly as far as you used to, and guns damage was lowered a lot like 2-3 weeks after the ea started, to the point were bow and arrows had more dps and versatility than pistols, wich is not only unrealistic but also ilogical, that forced people who liked guns into a bow meta.

because they like getting rid of all the fun features this game once had, gliders were fun: Nerfed, guns were fun: Nerfed, puckle guns for maps was fun: Nerfed, etc etc and thats how we ended up with a boring, tedious and monotonous game with 2k players out of the 45*4=180k total capacity

they said in the roadmap they will start fixing shit when xbox releases, so they might be more lucky than us, it seems than in the current videogame industry buying EA games is now synonym of cash grab scam, so i am never ever gonna buy an EA again, i hope they are proud of it.

in my opinion the stream had its ups and downs, it was clearly an upgrade from the improvised and lack of thematic past streams, we went from a normal room with jack drinking wisky on the background to a pirate room set up in accordance to the thematic. that being said the fact that they prerecorded the whole thing was a mistake, as well as the fact that as you mentioned they havent fixed any of the current atlas problems in a very long time and just as you i feel insulted by the fact that they stoped working on pc to focus on xbox. however at least now they have been honest and i am pretty sure that honesty comes by the hand of the new lead designer, however honesty hurts sometimes and they are 100% responsible for that so i am kinda happy that now i can let go instead of being there sitting eternally waiting for an answer that would have never come otherwise

its in the very exact same state as when you left, they have spent the last 6 months coding the xbox release of atlas, so aside of new content they wanted to be ready for the xbox launch the rest of the problems are all there, like ALL of them.

i am pretty certain (and sad) that they will forget about us, they will say something stupid as "if you want solo play go single player" they fail to realise that some of us like to see people around and interact with them but in very reduced dosis (for different reasons) the submarine, and all the othe groupal activities with content gated behind them proves it, is at moments like that when i feel like going back to BDO now that they will introduce new ships, i dont want to because is not the same gameplay experience but if i have to i will. well thats pretty sad isnt it?? you wanting to downvote a post that is representatve of several atlas players because its not your gameplay style, how does it hurt you that solo players can also enjoy atlas?

they wanna force players to keep playing by putting upkeep prices in everything that players already put time and effort in, and if that wasnt enought they also add decay timers because fuck you, i have said it before and i will say it again: i will never play this game again as long as decay and upkeep exists. period.
