Bonus for SotD, so they maybe be worthy to destroy once? Bad idea. Better you react to all the posts since gamelaunch and incrase the normal amount of loot and gold so it's not way too expensive to sink a sotd for its reward. Better you enable breeding x2,3,4 so a normal person with a RL can breed too and don't have to wait for Xmas or Eastern. And why you never talk about the unhealthy mechanics of breeding? Edit: I'm disappointed to read, that u can't enable a x2 event again. Isn't it just a really small task to enable it? Does it takes longer than 5minutes? Is it because we considered here about, that u decided to wait another week? No one on our beautiful world should be too busy to do a 5min task. But maybe I'm wrong and the mentality and the working effort in America is so wasted...? Here in Switzerland we all work longer, if the work demands it. Especially when it takes only 5minutes. Quality, customer service and patience is what we work here for. I really liked it to see you, devs, in the beginning of this journey doing a awesome good job. You had so much to do, had so many open projects and delivered content after contend, informed every week about the progress. Now we have to wait for any information who tells us nothing concrete, all and everything is delayed until no one knows. When do you start becoming a such bad company? Last few weeks show nothing more about a well organized company. You loosed yourself and loosed your balls. Or how do you explain the introverted behavior you show us now? We don't want to beg two weeks long for any answer. We want it back like it was in the beginning of atlas. A good communication, good CMs who are active in the official forum and take care of the community questions (even if you have to answer ten times the same stupid question). To understand my frustration about missing x2 event: I restarted on the official servers and claimed an island on Friday. I know with a upkeep of ~700g/day it's not the cheapest one but I was sure with the upcoming x2 event I can easily farm a good stock of gold, so I can build up a base or something else during the week. But now I had to farm gold at every evening I was playing this week. I hoped for this weekend now and then I read, that u are too busy to enable it again? Why? I absolutely don't understand why...

so, let's go back to the op: Devs, did you take note of that thread now and did you noticed too, that most of the players like the x2 event and would love to see you enable the event on every weekend. Saying that you are busy don't works. To enable the event it takes 2 minutes and a klick in your "server restart" button. It's not a big deal. To inform your playerbase, if there is no event, is taking only 2 minutes too. Otherwise you can hire me for enable and disable the event. I run a company but for these 5minutes each week I surely would find the time. But it's not cheap at all if you want to hire swiss precision work.

I played on a private Server because i wanted to breed and enjoy all the aspects of the game. Now I restarted on the official servers, because of the loneliness. But on the official servers I was mostly alone on a grid too. Expect yesterday, there were 7 players on a grid. I felt like I stepped in a flashmob. Didn't seen so much conversation since a long time. Unfortunately I have to wait now until I get three days of free time to breed some new bears. But I like it, that I had nearly free choice where to settle down. In each biome are several islands to claim now. I found many abandoned bases and tames too with a lot of gold and resources from all around the atlas.

Wait for the case, where you fall down from the ship because of a mermaid or a glitch and you can watch your ship not stopping, just drive ahead. The amount of frustration in this moment is deluxe.

what exactly does it means, "a bit more quiet"? Only one post every two months than one post per month? Are you on a good way with your Xbob cashgrab shit, so you can asap restart programming your game? And if we can get an answer in any of the few threads about blackwood, the huge amount of bugs and if you will fix it this decade? You really should start to communicate more with us, but just ignore it again and again...

A two high wall on a foundation is safe. But take note, that the cobras glitch thru with theyr heads and can bite your tames like that. Walls on a fence support don't protect you from snakes. Just because they can't enable no collision for structures.

disagree. Don't speak for all the players. Talk for you and about things you seriously can know. I'm a working person with friends and family. When I got time to play, it's on weekends. Normally during the week, I can't plan some bigger things, because of 2...3h playtime in a row. I usually use this time to explore or build around a bit. In the weekend you can plan way bigger explorations, bosses, search and transport resources (sounds funny, but with a galleon full with resources you are not the fastest anymore), trade and visit with others and way more stuff... Sheepshooter nailed it as he/she complained about the event who should start. At Saturday and Sunday I logged out a lot of time to check, if there is an update... I wasn't amused... That's why I say since months, the devs and specially the CM does a unbelievable bad job and it's worster with every new day. How hard can it be to write down a few words to inform your playerbase?! Isn't exactly that the job a CM should do? I got high hopes for GS that they will learn it until the final launch of the game. Just look at every other big game who function since years: they all get a working support and information stream.

I would like to see more announcements about it. Not when it starts, no. One or two days before would be nice to know. So we don't have to ask about and earn an answer like: "Erm... Yeah... Uff... If you don't work or take holidays especially for breeding, it's doable. If you are a working person or if you get a family, it's not possible to breed on official servers. For all the other players it's nearly impossible and definitely not healthy. On a unofficial server we changed the settings, so you can breed a bear in more or less 4h. With the preparations and the try out of the new bear you fullfilled a usual midweek evening with a enjoyable, personal experience. A elefant takes much longer. Since now I don't know how to breed an ele on the official servers without doing drugs. Think about it, dear devs...

No, he can't. After a few days (more or less because it's still buggy) a abandoned ship disappear. Only way you can get some of another playership, is if the ship is sunken.

I'm sure they didn't think about that. It's not because the devs don't want you to build up there. They just don't think as this far and choosed the easy way. It's not the first thread about that issue. I think rewriting the code is a too big challenge, just for building up on the mesas. That's why they never changed it and surely never will. Maybe you can hope for a mod.

They are not able to program a improved speed sail right that it works or make the same wind in each server. So how should the same programmer-team be able to program such a complex idea like your windstreams? And if history learned us one thing, then it's not a good idea to let the ship drive without checking your surroundings, even on a "safe" route. Look at the Titanic. As a captain of a ship, you need to be present for the whole time you're driving. But I agree, sailing can be a lame task. Once I crushed a brig because I fell asleep, in the middle of the afternoon. Funny thing about: I crossed over 5 servers until a island didn't want to avoid me.

Lvl 100 I don't think it's a good idea. With a bear of 80+ dmg each hit you have to hurry to kill one warrior before he's digging in. With a breeded bear 200+ % dmg I never tryed it. Once we get a lvl 24 map and with one bear and 5 people we made it. But u needed two natures cry for one warrior (yes, the bear was a low one). We coordinated it well and get the chest.

Let’s get straight to reiterating and clarifying details in regards to the next Mega Update/Xbox launch which is coming very soon. The Xbox launch will include: Crossplay support between PC Steam and Xbox players for ATLAS. Parity between both platforms. Xbox players won't have to wait for updates as they will happen simultaneously with PC We’ll be working on bringing day one Keyboard and Mouse support for the game, otherwise, it’ll arrive shortly thereafter. The Mega Update includes content and changes currently on the PTR, as well as some additional content we’ve discussed, and this will go live on our Official Network at the time of the Xbox Launch. I was not on the PTR but there will be a "mega update" with the launch. I'm hopeful that the devs noted, that to do nothing on this point is definitely the worst decision.

They spoke about a first, bigger patch who will come with the Xbob launch. If they are smart enough, they will do exactly what you meaned. Imo they will bring out really important stuff, like cats or seahorses instead of bugfixes, right working sails, pirate encampments, fixed and improved playershops, more shiptypes, no more vanishing tames, ships, structures or just a finished version of the blackwood map. Sooo many open tasks. Would be nice to see the devs finishing one thing patient before rushing to the next step. Edit: I run a car garage and imagined, how my business would run after a half year of doing just 75% of the work. Only change three wheels, or just change the breaks on one side... Change a radio without connecting them...? No one can work like that without get in trouble, except politicians.

@Realist I know you are 100% sure there will be a wipe. But get prepared for the scenario without a wipe, not that you fall in a deep hole of frustration and depressions if they don't wipe.

Aye devs, Do you think it's more important to fix an issue of big cannons in a schooner (who the hell is building a schooner with big cannons?!) instead of fixing huge terrainbugs, missing resources, non working silos and much more on your official blackwood map? Or what about the speedsails? Hundreds of peoples adressed this malfunction months ago and you was not able to fix it till now...? I don't think so... Or was it your good friend or one from your family who adressed the schooner bug, that it gets the priority to be fixed? And what about more communication to your community? A.e.: are the pirate encampments still in progress or do you kick this idea out? I know about your roadmap and the ridiculous "live"stream, but not one word was spoken about. Your focus for the Xbobs is one thing. Forget all the other loyal PC gamers is something we don't deserve. We wait nearly three months now for any news or a concrete direction. You see all the threads here who are yelling: "give us some news, some new food and stuff to discuss about!" Not a nothing saying roadmap. You, Grapeshot, is digging a bigger and bigger crate between the community and your studio.
