Not sure if this is a bug or Devs has done it for a reason. According to the mountain platforms description, these are classed as a foundation. However, you're unable to build on the platform, if it @ maximum height. Hope this will be sorted by devs in the future.

Having loads of claims is a very bad idea. If you find a claim not contested. You can take the land in 15mins. This timer reduces even further the more claims you have. Tactic I'm using is, if a player is away and don't return. I will find a bottleneck where a single flag is connecting two claimed areas. I will contest that flag. If successful. You can take load of there land as they cannot protect both area, where it had been split. Hope this helps

I have found loads of unclaimed land on top of cliffs. You can build structures on the mountains fine. However though your able to build cliff platforms at any height. You cannot actually build on the platforms, due to height restrictions. Your unable to connect the platform to the floor. When reading the description. Platform are classed as foundations. So why can't I build from the platform?
