Racastle island.... South West coast. When the timers are up, take everything you can. I have a TON of animals and lots of resources in the house. The sign by my animal gate says "Tasty Side Quest". My friend still can't connect and it's no fun solo. So.... We have a private Blackwood server up so we'll be playing there. Thank you to all the nice people I ran into along the way. I think the devs know about the lack of fish, but I don't know what their plan is. I think the LAST JOIN option is for dedicated servers, because I have the same thing happen to me, but you just have to click Join New and go in that way.

Is the sunken treasure wreck right across from the Freeport town cove bugged? I can't seem to get it. Help!

I can't make a grill or spyglass without crystals.... Where can I find some? UPDATE => Found crystal at the top of the waterfall (next to the inlet cave) on the Freeport Island. It's on a dark colored rock.

I love how everything is close as well. My friend and I hated traveling mega distances only to have the treasure map unattainable or the island too dangerous, ect BTW... Anyone know where I can find crystal? We can't seem to find any.

My friend can't connect either but he can't get the game to load past primalgamedata_bp when logging in to the pve EU server.

I'm close to leaving because the only other person I play with can't connect to the PVE EU server. He's tried EVERYTHING anyone has suggested on forums and in discord. His game never gets past loading primalgamedata_bp

I'm hoping for the same thing .... we're still having issues getting the server to respond and show up on the server list.

IF....IF we get our server up and running, how can we get and use the whitelist/blacklist abilities of an admin so no randoms join? We can't connect to the server and can't see it in the list.

Oh, my dear friend, I did not flub, but I see why you think that I did. The scene is where Brody and Hooper are cutting open a shark that everyone thinks killed the Kitner boy. Hooper reaches into it to see what it recently ate. He pulls out a fish head and then a license plate. Yea, I know It's a fantasy game, but putting a better choice for an animal isn't a bad thing by the devs....it would have been a GOOD thing. It shows that they're cognizant of the realism part. I'd have a greater chance for the hammerhead out in the deep sea, cruising along with a school of other hammerheads. They'd be like bears.... non aggro until attacked. There'd be almost no chance to see them on the coast line near the beach. Great white and tiger would be aggressive and everywhere....with the tigersharks more apt to be near the beaches. That'd be excellent.

BTW .... Hammerheads aren't even aggressive towards humans like other species. ARK has the meg, so why can't the devs add a great white type shark along with the hammerhead? Seems pretty easy. 1. Take ARK megalodon model 2. Scale it down to slightly larger than the hammerhead 3. Add the new shark to the game as a chance to spawn OK .. I know there's more to animation and motion and damage for bites, and death model and .. .. ect but please add another shark type! To be honest, a tiger shark would be a better option than the great white. It's just as dangerous to humans and is probably more unpredictable. Ooooh .. I just thought of something cool ... If you kill a tigershark and chop it up with the hatchet (not the pick) you get a random chance at getting a license plate along with the meat LOL ... but instead of it being called a license plate, it'd be called "odd metal plate" because there aren't cars in the game so the people finding it wouldn't have a clue as to what it really was. That'd be a neat little nod to the movie Jaws.

You might not be complaining, so I'll do it for the both of us. It's one thing to have high risk/high reward quests....or high time sink/high reward, but those map locations constantly on the top of spires is neither. The map locations need to be naturally accessible for the common variety and the higher level ones should require some climbing or building but not to the extent that you have to invest in a base worth of walls and ramps. Since this is an Early Access game, I'll assume the devs will be tweeking this for better balance in the coming patches.

I have the same problem with the lowest, LOWEST level maps. My friend and I are slowly learning the game but almost every map in N9 is on top of a spire! Cmon! I could see a difficult map being difficult to get to, but the work needed to get the 87 gold pieces from these low maps is not worth it.

Let me get this straight..... You DON'T need a pen to tame and it's easier/safer?? As a solo player I find that impossible to believe.

I try to drag the crossbow to my hotbar but it won't go in. So I dragged my bow instead. That clicks in to the hotbar just fine. Once the bow is there I can get the crossbow to snap into my hotbar. It's like the hotbar needs some other weapon in there first before the crossbow can stick.

There's a beautiful galleon near me I'd gladly take over. Why let it go to waste? All boat pieces (planks, deck, masts, and steering wheel) should only be destroyed when scuttled. All other building items should be on the 10 day timer like a house. Once boat pieces hit a 10 day timer the steering wheel radial menu would have a claim option. If the wheel is locked behind a door you have to wait for the door /wall to be destroyable to get to it. No steering wheel? Once the boat pieces hit the 10 day, you need to place a steering wheel on a deck (not ceiling) to claim. Sounds like a fun "piratey" thing to do to help clean up the servers and have people race to claim boats left over.

Still nothing from a dev to help......
