  1. Are you stupid? Are you blind? Look at the fucking screenshot, you can see the tip of the canon glitching through the wall, you fucktard
  2. It's EA yes. That doesn't mean you don't fix bugs like this shit. That is an excuse at this point.
  3. It is insane this is still a goddamn problem. 90% of the time the rejoin atlas button does NOT work. Fix this, it is a pain in the ass to have to go through 3 different menus to rejoin the last server I played on! How has this issue not been fixed yet? TO make it worse, when it doesn't work, it FREEZES THE GAME! FFS!
  4. Should see the island I'm on. see several goddamn Alpha's a day, cobra's no less. There's no running from those.
  5. No metal. None. It is stone. I can understand a small amount of sap for mortar. Metal is ridiculous and I won't be happy until metal is completely removed from the cost.
  6. Paste makes sense for mortar. Metal makes ZERO sense for a STONE structure.
  7. Not apologizing for something that wasn't me, and not apologizing for calling someone out on being a whiner. Nope.
  8. I won't be happy until they remove the metal requirement entirely.
  9. Heard but not listened to. There is absolutely NO reason that a stone structure has a metal requirement. So they lower a stone wall from 30 to roughly 15 metal. NOT good enough. These devs are fucking idiots.
  10. I don't see how. I play PvE and it definitely affects me and my crew. Alpha creatures can and will destroy wood. Stone they cannot. And yet, stone is now almost impossible to make if you don't have metal reasonably close, same with sugars.
  11. Hey if you can't handle being called a Nazi, then you are doing something wrong with your life. Stop being a little fragile snowflake and grow a goddamn backbone. And no, I never called this guy a Nazi, I'm just calling a dumbass out on his dumb shit.
  12. I'd tell you to stop being a little bitch in person, so yeah.
  13. I mean, where you being a Nazi? lmao. Stop being such a pathetic whiny child, and learn to grow a spine. Life is going to kick you in the crotch, a hell of a lot worse than being called a "nazi." Grow up, or spend your life in your "safe space" with your participation trophies.
  14. Alright, so I rarely make a lot of complaints about the game, especially because it is early access. But this is just stupid. It is ridiculous. The changes made to the stone building requirements only hurt people across the board! It is bad for PVPers, it is bad for PVErs, it is just bad. The decision was one of the most ridiculous I have seen in a video game in a long time, and I play plenty of early access games. On the PVP side of things, you have crippled people's defenses vs offline raids. Stone was at least a decent defense when coupled with a couple brigs parked outside the base. Now? Well, there's no need for even a canon anymore, to be quite honest. Even for raids when someone is online, the fact that stone can be eaten through so quickly means that a company may not have time to gather their defenses before being overwhelmed. Stone won't even really slow someone down anymore. It's basically a wet piece of paper. Add to this the insane resource cost of both metal AND organic paste, and you easily have the most idiotic patch I've seen yet. You nerf stone to the ground, THEN make it cost 30 metal for ONE wall, plus I think 20 organic paste? FOR ONE WALL!!! On the PVE side of things, look. Guns were nerfed. FIRE ARROWS were nerfed. We are basically defenseless against Alpha creatures that are hostile. Now, we can't even make a decent stone base that the Alpha's can't destroy, because of the insane cost to make stone in the first place. What is a small group of 2 or 3 players supposed to do to bring down an Alpha before it destroys hours of work? At least with Stone you could put up a wall around your base. That's not even an option now. How the hell are smaller groups supposed to make a decent stone structure? PARTICULARLY those in areas that are lacking metal or lacking sugar resources? Sail for 30 minutes just to bring back a handful of metal because it is so goddamn heavy you can't even carry enough to make the trip worth the time put in? OR, go get a fair haul of metal, only to get destroyed by a ship of the damned, because we had to sacrifice defenses to be able to hold enough metal to even START a damn stone base? Whether it be the PVP playerbase OR the PVE playerbase, these stone changes only hurt the community overall in both camps. Now it is much more cost effective to destroy a stone base. The price for cannonballs is really low, while the price for a single stone wall--let alone foundation or ceiling--is insanely high. If you DO get raided, by player or Alpha animal, the cost to rebuild far exceeds any price the attackers make for their raid in the first place. People are leaving this game. You would THINK the devs of Ark would have learned a thing or two. Apparently all they learned was how to piss people off. If you devs want to KEEP people playing, you need to stop making these idiotic decisions nobody wanted. You need to fix REAL problems, like 30 cyclones tanking people's FPS, making destruction nigh impossible to avoid when you simply get caught out in the rain on a ship (the fact that many spawn around you at all is really stupid anyway, especially when you throw in Ship of the Damned as a simultaneous threat). Or random FPS drops under 30 for literally no reason whatsoever. Or even GOOD systems struggling to maintain a constant 60+ FPS overall. Or the vitamin depletion vs hunger depletion making it difficult to keep vitamins up without killing yourself overeating. Or God-like Alpha's that are almost impossible to kill with a smaller group of people because they can regen simply by having a damn corpse NEARBY, without even having to go over and eat it. There are plenty of issues need fixing. Stone cost was NOT one of them. I fail to see just how these devs can be so incompetent when they dealt with (and for the most part fixed) these same goddamn issues in ARK. It is really getting harder and harder to stick with this game. Me AND my group of 4 others are getting to our last nerve with this crap.
  15. There, fixed the shit spewing from your face-anus.
  16. All they really need to do is fix one thing: GREATLY reduce vitamine loss. The rate is ridiculous, to the point you have to fucking over eat in order to keep them up! Even with all the perks to reduce vitamin loss, it's still way too fast. If they fix this, vitamins aren't an issue anymore.
  17. Yep, yet another game catering to streamers who care more about zerg raids than actually enjoying the game.
  18. The stone changes are fucking stupid though. The cost is ridiculous now, and they nerfed stone so hard, and buffed wood so much, why even bother with stone now? It's not even worth the materials to bother with. These devs learned NOTHING from Ark. They are incompetant idiots.
  19. I'm pissed. This is the worst BS I've seen yet. Why the fuck does stone need METAL? Organic paste, I can see as mortar. But METAL? And 30ish metal per fucking wall? these devs are fucking incompetant morons at this point.
  20. So I'm still slightly new at editing config on my own and the host I'm using doesn't offer a config panel quite yet so I'm wanting to add in what I'd like to override from vanilla into the gameusersettings.ini. Could someone tell me if these would be correct to add in and save in the config? I'd appreciate it!I'll be replacing the <value> with actual numbers, of course, this is just for example while I get it worked out. These are what I'm wanting to add in, do any of them need to have the "b" in front of them that I'm not aware of or could these just be inserted into the file once a value is put in?(Just an FYI - we're playing on a 1x1 map so I need to make sure we can level up all the way vs being capped at the 9 without discoveries - does the "bClampHomeServerXP" need to be true or false to allow this?)HarvestHealthMultiplier=<value>HarvestAmountMultiplier=<value>ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier=<value>StructurePreventResourceRadiusMultiplier=<value>PlayerDamageMultiplier=<value>PlayerHealthRecoveryMultiplier=<value>XPMultiplier=<value>NoDiscoveriesMaxLevel=<value>ClampHomeServerXPLevel=<value>TamingSpeedMultiplier=<value>Like I said I'm still new at editing config files themselves vs. a prebuilt panel to click at, so thanks to anyone that can help!
