  3. Bears typically take about 2h30m to get to 10% so I'd expect a monkey to take less time. Our monkey breeder has reported it's going to take about 90m to get the new baby poo flinger to up 10% which is what I'd expect from a 1x period, not a 2x period. Also, I wouldn't expect an 18hr re-breed timer (illustrated) on a bonus period.
  4. How many years have you had to look into this? Yet you're spending time on kittens and seahorses? I built a base. It's a nice base. Made it out of stone to protect the squishy things inside. Made the walls high to ensure that nothing could get in. Oh, nm. This is a game brought to you by wildcard. Mobs can just glitch their way in if they're bored and slaughter everything in sight, while you're not there. And when they can't get to you personally, they'll just attack inanimate objects that happen to belong to you for hours on fucking end. I do not play PvP. Multi-layered cobblestone boxes are not my thing. However, it seems due to your incompetent and punitive programming, a multilayered cobblestone box is the only base design which stands a chance at actually protecting what's inside.
  5. Maybe! I have been able to find "the spot" at the front curve but it seems much harder to get than it used to. I'm guessing it has something to do with the edits to collision boxes for roof pieces that reduced the glitching-thru-the ship bug(s).
  6. Bola'd does not mean "can magically rotationally teleport in order to be able to face an assailant from any direction". It means tangled up in a mess of leather thonging. What's the very next thing the hunter does? Bind the quarry tighter than Scotsman's wallet so it never gets up again until they bloody well say so. There is not a hunter in the world that's going to make some kind of slipshod set of bindings in order to give animals "a sporting chance". Grapeshot, you cooked this foul witches brew of animal abuse and stockholm syndrome, you fucking drink it. When you discover the bloody great holes that YOU put there by not doing proper planning, don't punish us with bullshit band-aids. Twisting once or twice to ensure their head is not inside a rock, that's fine. But not constant twisting. If the player can find a spot to feed it, BAM. It should stop this magical rotation bullshit. --- I semi-apologise for my tone. As Dollie said, we get upset because we care. Yes, I'm frustrated. I want to love the game but you're not making it easy. Sadly, all I see is shitty broken fundamental game mechanic after shitty broken fundamental game mechanic affecting me on a daily if not hourly basis, while you spent your time working on stupid fluff that no one asked for. We've been asking politely for these things to be fixed since they first showed their god-awful faces at launch. Do we have to become famous streamers in orders to get you guys to listen? All the evidence points that way so far.

  8. I was just rearranging bears and whistling follows and the pictured JSON error popped up. After screenshotting, I clicked OK and nothing happened. Still in game. /shrug
  9. So... if we can get an IWCRS, could we also get a GWCFA (Galleon-Wide Crew Feeding Apparatus)? It's a little.. odd that crew would rather starve to death than get off their hiney and walk 30 feet to a larder.
  10. Seems there's some kind of code that tests the player's position at the moment of first click (for blue ghost) and then again for the confirmation click. I was briefly getting an "out of range" message. Seems that the position is relative to the world, not the current base.
  11. Was this a ship in active use or one that hadn't had any visitors for a while? Auto-decay is breaking a lot of hearts.
  12. To get to this location, the pig would have had to: 1. Take an elevator 4 floors up 2. Walk down a narrow corridor 3. Walk through the human-sized doorway pictured. Note: Pigs can't walk through human-sized doorways. In Ark, this process of rendering animals / people before structures allowed wandering animals to escape their pens with depressing regularity AND actively facilitated cheating by allowing players to glitch themselves inside people's bases, bypassing any defences. When embarking on the ATLAS project. You already KNEW this. What's the chances of you rewriting that part of the engine this late in the development phase? You had an opportunity to do things right but you squandered it in favour of buggy mediocrity. Fluff like kittens and morellatops-in-a-gimp-suit in favour of high quality game mechanics.
  13. Getting stuff on and off ships can be painful. In RL ships use gangplanks and loading ramps but you haven't given them to us (yet). So players have come up with ways around it. One of them is this ramp system for galleons. I used to be able to walk up the sides where the gunwale curves upwards but it seems something has changed and I can no longer do so. I'm hoping that this is a bug, an unintended consequence of some other change. If so, please fix it. If this was deliberate, please undo it! Making things annoying is not a substitute for challenging gameplay. Please don't remove workarounds until you've given us proper tools. Thanks
  14. This particular ship has been idle for a while since the player that made it has lost interest, so I suspect it's because of "no one got on board for 10 days" or whatever the number is. Obviously it's no big loss to us but, I think it's unreasonable that ships within a valid company claim are still subject to the autodecay process. Possibly a bigger gripe is that there was no entry in the company log to explain what happened to it. We echo the log to discord and there was no mention. Shortly after autodecay was turned on, I did notice a "ship id 1234... removed from company" in the log. Of course *we can't see* the ship IDs so that's useless information to us. We need: * the log to give the ship name * the reason for the removal, * and for the log entry to be echoed to discord. Thanks
  15. NA PVE, our bear breeding base is in B13. Twice today we've been subject to a max travel lockout after only one person has fast-travelled to there. Sometimes it can be unlocked by travelling to an adjacent zone first, but that's not a reliable method. I hope that this is a bug. We have about 12 active players now and our E10 main base (we're landlords on the island) is spending an awful lot of time inaccessible out due to company max travel lockout.
  16. Actually it seems they've tweaked it a little more... our science says they'll draw from the flag in preference to ship-side resources, which is a good idea I feel.
  17. Legendary one was getting hemp for me on NA PVE D12 island about an hour ago.
  18. Beach rocks are giving me 4 stones (i.e. 2x) in NA PVE G8. Haven't tested anything else.

  20. As a many-years Ark player, I sympathise The good news is that they're aware of it and taking steps to address it. Today's patch includes stuff that eliminates a lot of the duplicated files which should substantially reduce the overall game size. At the end of the day though, when you have a game with a big-ass map like this with hundreds of islands and hundreds of different building parts, each requiring multiple texture files to make it look acceptable to pretty so that people with a wide range of computers can handle it, it's going to require a lot of disk space. Those of us with older computers and 250G drives are going to have to accept that our hardware is out of date.

  23. That said, our company is pretty good at keeping gold on our ships, but our main base is also seeing a similar rate of gold expenditure which suggests that the game may be deducting from the flag in preference to, or in addition to, the gold on the ships.
