this even my pen has foundations every 2 foot in case some asshats decide it would be funny to wal in my tames

good information , what about new parts that u add to the building

does that apply yo only old items built , as if for example i add to my fence or build my tower higher can u he come along and remove the top of my newly built tower? as that would be couter intuative to having my building safe at bottom but not safe if i expand upwards , is it safe as long as the items are connected ?

so which one is it then 24hrs from placement or 24hrs after a new claim is done , ie im on large island that hasnt been claimed when island is claimed does a 24hr timer kick in ? or is my base safe

it starts , why did the devs implement this ridiculous system , here devs PVE is not the same as PVP , what works well on pvp isnt going to work on pve , there is no way to get revenge if your base is removed , by all means keep this riduculous griefing claim system if u must ,but any bases built more than 24 hours before the island is claimed must be immune to the demolish rules or i can see more and more of these threads starting as the larger islands start to get claimed

and there in lies the problem pve =meant to be relaxed and casual , too many assholes and grapeshot letting them get away with it , there needs to be some bans to bring the rest into line make platers think twice about behaving like dicks , if they act like that in real life there most used phrase wil be " u want fries or side with that "

so far the island im on hasnt been claimed im taking a risk but what ever

im hoping there are a lot more like you guys , as u say if the owners want to be silly they wont have anyone there , more so on the bigger islands that can hold a lot more company and players , will only benefit them , during last phase i had tax set at 2% i had more maetal and mats than i knew what to do with as so many players farmed in the area , this setting at 50 % and hoping for tons of mats is false economy 1 player at 50% or 10 at 10% i know which one i would go with

THE LAWLESS RADIUS is the same on all grids can be a problem later as players climb into your taming pen and fence in your tames , or build a wall right around your base cos they dont want you on THIER island .. the radius needs increasing everywhere but lawless,

nope nothing , i though it was something they had planned to add ,

, first 3 i visited the message on screen, or signs on beaches was stating dont bother building we will delete your stuff , using such excuses as this island isnt big enough for more than one player , there are not enough claims for everyone to be free from landlords , dont make out that it was easy to get an island , the old claim system should have stayed with limits on the amount of flags per company

why will it be fun? is that the sort of thing that you would do ? the system the devs devised does not work for pve , also players can build right next to your walls in all areas ,was this intended to have all areas as lawless style resource spawns and building rules ? this is a concern as a toxic player could climb over your pen wall and build all your tames in so u cant move them , the no build radius needs to come back and fast before we start seeing instances of this happening , or build right around the outside of your base walling you in ?

as title , give us flags we can craft so we can put our company logos on them

as i postED earlier in thread i just set up on a lrge island , hoping i dont end up with dick lanlords .

this new system works well on pvp but definalty not designed for pve , with all the selfish players that play this game as shown with the first claim system ,

was done deliberatly , go play empires if u want to zerg , go play with the big boys ,

I am building on a lrger island so far noone has bothered anyone else so here hoping ,

as soon as u raise to 50% all those players will start looking to another island with lower taxes and a better landlord ditto , i have already landed and foundationed off a small area for my new base

shame the the devs didnt think ab out what players are like , teh last claim system should have given them an idea that players wether solo ro large companys wanted and claimed entire islands for themselfs , how they thought this system was going to be any better i dont know

ivre set up on one of the larger islands as noone so far has the company members or the gold to claim one , so heres hoping this can become my main base , without any issues if and when the larger company come claim it , i have placed foundations in an area that i think will suit my needs , main base and holding pen nothing too big , enough to have a bit of room to swing a cat and make a small good looking base

small islands taken over by small / solo players , and are refusing to let anyone build quoting "this island is too small anything u build will be destroyed" nice work on this claim system that no one wanted or asked for , well done

what are u asking with your question exactly , are u looking for the doom mongers to spring up and say oh no they have to have it on sale as they need the money or new player,or if they dont have it on sale this game will die ? is that the sort of thing you were looking for ? real reason relaunch of the game so a good sign to attract new players ,

this system and the taxes have no place in pve , i can fully undertsnad why they have it in pvp as stuff is destroyed a lot and the taxes can help rebuild / defend etc , but pve no reason at all to have it , no reason to have this 1 person dictating who can and cant build on the islands with a very large window to remove things they dont like , u try to build bigger they come in and remove your new walls / foundations because they dont want u to build bigger or higher etc ,
