  1. At least, we know you are not here to report bugs but to point your salty finger at someone. Get good next time you try to get your island back. So you would not have to resort to rage post on the forums to inflict some damage.
  2. Hello, Those past three days, we have been visiting Castois Island in H6 of the official EU PvP server and couldn't find it so we concluded that its respawn seems bugged even after server restarts or it has been kitted far away from the island. We have been in the ancient city and all over the island running naked, using gliders, climbing over mountains and we can not find it. Could a GM check it out and report back if its spawn is or isn't bugged please? Seems hard to believe that we just didn't spot a giant dragon for several hours of hunt.
  3. That's our secret training facility for the future underwater dungeon update. Please leave the area immediately. Edit : Also, that's really funny that we claimed that base from the previous owner of the island and we just let it be. Then we got attacked by them yesterday, probably trying to get the island back but they failed. But now, you magically show up with that screencap... Calling out your own exploit?
  4. Daopa, I saw your video on reddit. Ask the guy with the blackjack to place himself behind you and aim at your head so he can see a green message saying 'ABLE TO STRIKE' then use his Melee/Pistol whip button (middle mouse button click by default). It will cause you 150 torpor and no physical damage. So you will avoid that the guy kills you before knocking you out.
  5. Stamina drain action would just kill you. After being out of stam, you gain torpor but after reaching 60 torpor or so, you don't gain more anymore and just start losing a pourcentage of your health. I tried to pass myself out by punching, climbing, using a pike/mace and it just exhausted me to death before passing out. But having someone with a Blackjack knocking me out works. Just have to ask someone to spawn on your boat, have extra necesserary tools/gear for him to follow you to the bugged spot (climbing picks) and a blackjack. Since we are almost all reaching max level in my company at this point, I had no difficulties to have someone spare 5min to get some easy discovery points.
  6. I can confirm that you get the bugged discovery by getting knocked out by a friend using a blackjack. I tested it in K6 on Rorior Atoll's bugged spots and it did the trick. Thanks Archsenex for the tip.
  7. I think you can also solo pass yourself out by spamming your climbing pick on something. Edit : Nvm, it kills you.
  8. A friend + this : https://atlas.gamepedia.com/Blackjack He aims at your head from your back and click the mouse middle button while a 'ABLE TO STRIKE' message is displayed. I intend to let a couple of Blackjacks on my boat and ask someone to TP on it and join me as soon as I land on an island where I know there are bugged spots.
  9. I'm suspecting that those hidden ship limits are categorized by shiptype. You won't be able to craft a Brig if you sink a sloop for example. Try to release it as soon as someone lose his Brig in battle or scuttle an unused one.
  10. I say "irony" because you are making me laugh, dude. A PvE player saying he doesn't want "protections", that's a funny one.
  11. The irony. Playing on PvE IS your protection, that's why you still have a Galleon and 5 flags all for yourself.
  12. PvP of course, so many "problems" you can get rid of with the use of a canon. The 3days inactivity timer you have to wait on PvE servers in order to claim is already cancerous enough to deal with when you wanna take land from someone that doesn't use it properly or doesn't deserve the land he grabbed.
  13. What people like me have issues with when it comes to the solo players is not their actual playstyle but when they come here complaining that the game should be changed to cater to their playstyle (asking for extra protections just because they are solo) because they often are at a logical disavantage when hostile groups cross their way.
  14. Read : Don't you dare give me the actual solution to my problem because fuck you, I don't like it and I don't want to have a solution to my problem. I want a personal "I win" button versus any sizeable group or that anyone that doesn't play like I want them to, to be removed from my divine sight at once. Of course it is.
  15. *Shows screenshot taken during night time in game (No increased gamma correction)* Well fuck you too then.
  16. The fuck are you talking about? People in that situation would have no logical reason to be in here, complaining about that change, in the first place.
  17. At least those "nolife neckbeards" seem to have no problem making friends and play together as opposed to guys like you, the "I have a life, job, gf, kids, dog, ..." normies but are, for some fucking unknown reason, so socially inept they can't make friends in games to take care of things while they are offline "having a life".
  18. How about avoiding speaking about "community" when you obviously have a big issue with that change because you play alone in your own corner? You would not have to worry about it if you had teammates playing when you are not. People have jobs and take vacation? Fine. But real functional people have the ability to socialize and make friends. If you didn't have any joining you when the EA got released then start making new ones in game. Everyone who has a problem with this update are loners who want to stay isolated for some reason when the game is obviously not designed to cater to their playstyle. Then they whine like infantile adults when they realize it's a multiplayer game where they better team up or lose all their shit whether it's PvE or PvP. It's a GOOD change, because it hammers the nail on its head for people who still think they can play solo on Official servers when it's clearly not meant to be. Get your own personal server if you really don't want to play with anyone.
  19. Respawning with the key was the bug. Losing it upon death isn't. It has been fixed in v16.2.
  20. Same here, for K6, Rorior Atoll. 3 of them on the same island. The one in the air between the two natural stone pillars, the one near a waterfall inside a natural stone arch and the last one around a non-player built house on the side of a cliff.
  21. I don't understand those changes. I'm looking at the new cost for the stone structures and it makes me go "meh" because I'm in one of the biggest company of EU PvP and we are on a "Paradise" type island where honey/sugarcane is as plentyful as rocks and fiber, waterfalls and clean water rivers, pure metal nodes are everywhere, crystals on montain tops, ... We are just gonna quadruple honeycomb everything instead of our current double layers to offset the changes and not put a single dent in our resources vault. But small companies that had to settle for the crumbs that no one wanted, like polar/tundra land are fucked. (Still don't understand why there is no huge incentive/reward/access to exclusive ressources when living over there in exchange of the perma freezing weather and the lack of essential resources like sap and fiber). "So it gives people an incentive to battle for one of those paradise island you live on." Heh, good luck removing our bases on top of natural stone pilars that no ground canon can reach and no glider/climber can land on because of our new invincible puckle NPC covering every angles of it. (Yeah, I know, mortars, ... we have those too if you manage to build one and we have more walls too)
  22. Remove the new recipe cost, keep the damage to stone structure as it is or make it even worse so it would be a waste to honeycomb them BUT give the option to companies to set a 'reinforced' period of 16-18 hours or so where stone structures take so little damage it would be a waste for any enemy to raid them. So companies would have that reinforced period buff on their structures and a "vulnerability window" whenever else. Any changes to those settings are only taking effect 24 hours later and 72 hours need to pass before you can change those settings again, . Window of vulnerability of your target can be checked at the info window of any of their flags. It would prevent a defendant to change the vulnerability window at the last minute when they realize an attacker is on their way or during a raid and it would encourage enemies to actively scout their target. It leaves you with a window of 6 to 8 hours to plan and launch an organized attack on a company owned base. Companies would naturally set that vulnerability timer when most of their people are online. Actual PvP would happen instead of offline raids. That window of vulnerability is effective for all structures under the company flags and accross all servers, it would discourage mega tribes to spread too far out or encourage them to organize several teams assigned to defend specific locations. If server losing performance due to the exaggerated number of structures being built is such an escalating problem, I would dare to suggest that this window of vulnerability could increase as your company conquers more and more land, or increasing each time you lay structures down under controled land (-10sec to the reinforced period per stone structure).
  23. That's a bullshit excuse. They would if you sail straight into their aggro range instead of changing course to avoid them and your vessel is at its weight limit. You have a team? Build a transport schooner : no cannon, large speed sail+small handling sail, one bed, one ressource box with bare minimum to repair the decay, no extra plank since you are supposed to outrun any warship trying to shoot you, empty boxes and all levels your ship will gain in +weight. You go empty, then you sail back under 50% weight. Or build several sloops to spread the weight on several ships, each sloop can be handled by a single player.
  24. Well that is what's going to happen. It's inevitable in a sandbox PvP game. Just like in EvE, people don't like to lose their shit, so every big alliances are either blue'd (allied) with each other or defuse any situation that could lead to a full on war between powerblocks, it's just small skirmish or complete annihilation of way smaller communities if they show any sign of weaknesses and they are close by. It's called the Big Blue Donut on EvE because of the shape of the map and the color of your allies icon in chat, so it will be called the Big Cyan Square on this one.
