You do realize they did what you said right? Rather it was just na pve or not has nothing to do with what you want. They did what you said with na pve. How did that go for you?

@Ranger1k I agree with you man, but like I said before what he is saying rings true as well. this company is the problem. They continue to just spew crap when they actually do something and then once daddy calls they say “yes, daddy, it’s dinner time” and screw everything after that. nobody, not even this guy or you fully get it. Why would I promote this game? They changed staff for a third time and now we are getting another wipe(I am fine with it) but al they said was we are making a new map and we have new CM’s. Guess what? Where the duck are the new CM’s. please give me the excuse of “they aren’t allowed to talk” come on white knights, I am waiting. I will call BS on that all day. They literally got hired a couple of days ago. NEW DEVS, please understand this. If you are also expected to stay silent you will actually be hated by the community. Nobody cares if the word hate it used right now. If you try to stay hear you better make a difference or you will be long gone and worthless like the others. please do better.

Oh they definitely need to make a lot of changes but leaving it the way it is isn’t going to do any good. I am talking about main city areas being invulnerable. If you build outside of the city or on lawless you will get raided. That way people can decide for themselves. Plenty of risk out there to have if that’s what they want. Not everyone wants that. A realm vs realm would actually be nice. That would easily keep everyone on the same realm getting along whether or not they are in a big or small company in that realm. I definitely like this idea.

Resin is found in the tundra biomes. Many different servers have them. The two I always used to go in k13 and L13. edit: next time make sure you tell people the area you live in so they can better help you with locations.

Yeah I completely agree. And even though with all the stuff they can get away with because of that EA excuse the one that that EA can’t excuse them from is the lack of communication. There is never a good excuse for that under any circumstances.

Either way. I would much rather prefer the failure to be faction driven instead of the usual Megas situation. I am sure you will think what I said is Megas=leaving to the other side. It wouldn’t matter though because with what I said as far as the Capitol city it would be a non issue. Pvp needs to be on the see and every building on land needs to be free.

I am with you as well. Just remember it isn’t just us but the devs as well that need to work together to not destroy the game. I really want to trust them but right now I don’t.

Very dangerous. @ZetaZhan you don’t like what he is saying because he disagrees with you on your opinion of the game. Don’t worry I won’t say it’s just a game because regardless I believe your opinion is just as important as his. So he needs to leave that alone. @Ranger1k no matter how long you served(thank you btw), you do not get to tell him he can’t speak against the military or anything else. That is not what you stand for. You stand for freedom, not taking freedom away. I didn’t serve in the military but I am with the fire department. Do people shit on me sometimes? Sure. Even literally? The thing is zeta it’s been 8 months of silence. This unethical behavior happened before Covid was even a thing. This happened because ark genesis was coming out and they needed it to be good since it was the major cash cow. Ethical? No. But do I get why they did it? Yes. it doesn’t change the fact they did abandon the game for a good while before Covid came around. Like I said before I get that you like that game and I did to but I will say it again, I don’t like these devs and I don’t trust them. I can argue on your side and I can also argue on their side. when it comes to the game I can be right there with you but unfortunately if you defend the devs I can very easily change my tune and bring plenty of evidence with me.

Yes, they will mess this new update up. why come at people with old insults though? Yeah I am with you as well to an extent. Unfortunately as being a true believer in free speech it is more our right to ignore what people say than it is to tell them they can’t say it. I hear plenty of stuff I don’t like but I will never tell anyone they can’t express themselves. The main thing I want you to remember and I am not sure if you have been here since the beginning(don’t worry, I am not assuming) but depending on that you might not know the frustrations that have gone on for these people. i for one don’t like the devs but that is because I have played ark since the beginning and I have seen all of the unethical stuff they have done for over 5 years so believe me, it isn’t a pooping on atlas discussion man. It’s a righteous take a dump on the devs discussion and believe me you would lose that one regardless of whether you like the game or not. btw I like the game as well.... not the devs.

Why does everyone want to ban everyone else. It’s a shame how weak the world has become. The lack of freedom of speech has become pathetic to say the least. That is completely cool man. They n fact, I remember there was a time in my life where a cardboard box was all I needed to have fun. Thanks for still having enough money imagination to have fun in this game. It’s a true virtue.

I fully realize that some people don’t want to go off of speculation and that is completely fine if you don’t want to. I won’t judge or harass. I know these people. They won’t have multiple servers again. Nobody wants to think about the financial costs. All of those servers that were basically empty for months were chipping away at the ark cash cow. Ark has definitely been funding this game 100%. The puny sales of atlas in total pale in comparison to ark. this game doesn’t make money. Genesis brought a lot more money to the table that atlas didn’t. Having said that ark now has excess money for atlas again. The sad part is these guys aren’t good with their decision Making. They like burning the extra money as fast as they get it they are “$@@$& rich” so to speak. Don’t you dare assume what I said.

We have reach a point in this game that is a very important cross roads. We have seen that they think they know what’s best for the game but we can all see the numbers and the frustration of the community. This is an “ark game” and what I mean by that is that it’s a mega alliance game. True the numbers aren’t high enough to truly call anything a mega but they are still there. factions or 2-4 with main cites that are unraidable. Here the pve people will be able to build and craft. The pvp people of that same faction only will be able to come and resupply their war inventory through either gold or trade(most likely gold from the raiding). This is also optimal because they “allege” that they want the game to be more about sea battles and not inland. Problem solved, you can’t take down the main city so don’t bother trying. Go sail out and take down the pve people when they do have to “risk” going through trade routes or whatever. don’t get me wrong I am in favor or even the pve people having to worry about pvp sometimes like when sailing but buildings just simply need to be indestructible now. If people just really have to have the risk of owing their base then they can still have an option of living on lawless areas. not sure why people need to have that risk of losing everything but we can easily accommodate those people by lawless areas all over the map. factions need to be a thing and main indestructible capitols need to be a thing. If those are implemented then you can actually have a good meld of pve and pvp. i am not worried about if pvp people like the idea or not because they will still always have their pvp regardless. I just want to make sure the pve people can also have what they want without anyone having to sacrifice too much.

If they don’t add pve in with it then they have already failed before they have begun. Pve people simply won’t play pvp regardless of what they try to implement so it doesn’t matter if we know anything or not if they don’t do it then they are done and will be stuck with have of what they even have now playing. wait till people get tired of paying taxes to the big company on the trade routes as well. They won’t bother trying to take down the bigger companies, they will just leave this time.

Yeah there won’t be content for quite awhile. They first have to figure out how to combine pvp and pve then integrate that into the new map. After that they have to make sure they aren’t any game breaking bugs with the map and then make sure their aren’t any bugS toward pve/pvp That are being exploited. and to be honest after that they need to work on fixing the other bugs that have been around this whole time before they even start to think about adding more content. So multiple months from now.

Well if we didn’t know their track record we might be able to do that.

Unfortunately they are dreaming. The two biggest companies will control the trade routes and nobody will ever bother trying to take it from them. After that if the trade route “is not” forced content and the o it way to travel then people simply won’t use the trade routes. If the trade routes “are” forced content then people will leave after they get tired of dealing with taxes or whatever ridiculous stuff they have to do to use the route. i mean this is going to fail. With the numbers being at an all time low Just like the last wipe I don’t see a lot coming back and even for the ones that come back I don’t see them paying taxes for more than a month and being tired of it.

Well what will happen is that everything is getting wiped. Not just na pve and Eu pve, but as well as na pvp and Eu pvp. The whole game is getting wiped for the new map and they will he making a combination of pvp and pve. how they will accomplish this isn’t known but in all reality it can only be one of two ways and those are the only possible two ways. The first way and the best way would be to have factions if they were smart with main cities for pve content. The second way which will fail will be to just make certain squares pve. This will fail become those squares can not only be camped but the will also be exploited. The they really only have 1 possibly successful option because they only other one will fail just like anything else they think of.
