People can still have different views on everything. I don’t have disadvantages from the ghost ship spam and claimed flags and all so this game is very playable for me. And I know it will be better, just like with ARK. And if it won’t, then I wasted 25 euros. Too bad. But you can never know, can you. We’ll just have to see.

Lol, Everyone can complain all they want. I agree with a lot about the issues people point out on the forums. But most of them are balancing issues. That is still what EA is for and that is still what I chose to play when buying this game. What I don’t agree with is people shouting this game is unplayable, totally not solo friendly, completely broken and what not. Apart from the issues pointed out.

You do know that the people on the forum/discord usually are the ones having problems with the game? Personally I don’t look at the reviews until the game is released, but I believe you immediately. The game is at a bad state, but that doesn’t make people can’t enjoy it.

You mean the balancing? Definitely. But everyone else has his/hers own opinion on the gameplay. In my opinion the gameplay is awesome.

Do you think pirates lived on their ships their entire lives? They had ‘hangouts’ and bases. If there were only ships it would get boring even quicker.

No about people being too sensitive, taking everything seriously and starting up community groups for ever flaw society has to offer. It’s just a game, this is a game mechanic. Like I said, it’s not like there are people out here trying to have sex with young girls. It’s a mechanic they wanted to have fun with. In my company we’ve already locked up our own members and trolled with it. If he wants to go to the police with this, be my guest. But I’m pretty sure he won’t come far.

I really like this idea, but they will never change this, since it is core. That’s a shame. People have been talking about a kind of ‘factions’ idea, where there would be standard factions you could join and then fight each other. Then this idea could really work out, every faction would have a safe harbor where PvP is not allowed.

Well if you think like this you will have a hard time, that’s for sure. But yes, not everyone is evil. There are plenty of people on the forum telling other people it’s possible. And you can always apply to one of them through the forum/discord.

I agree. People need to calm down. But I’m not sure if they have the people to sit on the reports (there will be many). Until it arrives best you can do is gather evidence of the insults/flaming/hacking etc.

It’s mostly the solo’s you’re stealing from. Lots of people have had success with this. You can always ask companies if you can join for a bit until you found your own place.

1. It’s not the big companies screwing it up, it’s mostly the solo players that claim 3 islands. Getting rid of it brings back foundation spamming etc. They need to make it 1 claim per person. 2. Could work out, but if you want to have thousands players to be happy, 1 per person is necessary. 3. It’s an MMO, large group of companies is normal here. And even if you cap it, they will just play together anyway. You’d only get rid off shared XP. 4. Sure 5. I don’t know about this. Yes but when it’s shit on PC it’s even more shit on console since all the patches and updates need to be approved by 2 other parties.
