  1. I believe the route goes: 1. C6 2. D12 3. F8 4. G3 5. H6 6. M12 7. 07 8. 014
  2. PS4 doesn't have an Early Access program like Steam does or like Xbox does. So unfortunately PS4 is unlikely to come before the official release of Atlas, which is 2 years away.
  3. Yep I pick up 2 stones off the ground. 300+ per swipe with a bear? When I swipe with a bear I get only 22 straw per bush, although of course you get more if there are bushes together, but never 300+ fiber per swipe.
  4. This is something i'd like to know to if sea claims count towards the timer. If not then fine, if they do then i'll remove some. I don't really care about sea claims, the only reason I have a few is to cover the area around my base to prevent the silly overlapping and that I don't feel squashed in.
  5. Where does any definition of "official" state it is not solo gameplay or that solo gameplay is not allowed?
  6. Inactive players - automatically killed AFTER 28 days of not logging in. Lawless - buildings decompose in 4 days. Claimed Land - sleepers lose land after not playing in 3 days. Basically those that have claimed land are treated worse than lawless land, and even inactive players have 4 weeks before they are killed. But a player inactive for 3 days, which is essentially an extended weekend could lose everything? Inactive players 4 week timer should be reduced to 3 weeks, it's not necessary to be 4 weeks. If someone hasn't logged on for 3 weeks it is unlikely they will again. Claimed Land should not be claimed after inactivity that is even shorter than Lawless land. 3 weeks should be what it is. After 3 weeks a sleeping body on claimed land will be killed and then the land claimable. Don't punish players for taking 2 weeks holiday. Yes I'm aware you can hire crew members, but that is only one option you are forcing on players. Extend the time from 3 days to 3 weeks and stop punishing solo players, as per your latest Captain's Log.
  7. Absolutely agree, I shouldn't lose everything just because i've gone on holiday for a week or 2. Whenever i'm not on holiday it's fine because i'm very active, I play every day, but I need holidays too, so we shouldn't be punished for taking a break in life for a 2 week holiday. I hope you are right that it is about that, but something tells me it is not.
  8. Yep can confirm on EU PvE Foy is at M12. I'm 20 years young again!
  9. Exploring the seas and discovering islands doesn't actually level you, it gains you points which will gradually increase your max level, but it doesn't mean you'll be fully levelled just by exploring. SotD do attack Rafts when you get close. Also good luck trying to explore all the grids on a raft in 3 days, I guarantee you it will take more than 24 hours for you to have explored every island you can. On your exploration you'll also need supplies of wood, fiber and hide to repair your raft. Rafts take damage every time you cross grids, and you'll be crossing a lot of grids. Cyclones spawn around you everytime it rains which means as you'll be exploring constantly the first 3 days you'll constantly experience cyclones that will cause damage to your raft. You'll also have to kill yourself a lot when vitamins deplete. If you're farming for paste and you farm honey, then a stack 1,000 honey, which will be the equivalent of 1,000 paste weighs 500. You'll struggle to carry so much as you collect it on your raft, your raft will sink quickly. You will need to explore, collect some, move to other island, and before you know if you'll have too much to continue so will need to return to your base in whatever grid you have, then have to go all the way out again. So yeah you won't be able to continously explore and harvest 2000-3000 paste because your raft wont cope. Also you'll need to farm even more fiber to make paste so you'll need double the amount of that compared to honey/sap. You won't care if your raft gets destroyed along with the box you have on it storing the honey/sap you've been harvesting from islands? Ok then. Park a raft out in the water? You mean out in the deeper water where you can't anchor it? A place where when it is not anchored it will take damage from the frequent cyclones? Ok then. You may keep a close eye, but your plan already has lots of holes in it. Would like to hit 100 what? Chickens? If you mean age you won't hit 100 for 3-4 weeks regardless of how much you play. If you want to hit 100 lvl within the first week well you are unlikely to ever achieve that, you need to get all the exploration out of the way first to even be able to lvl that high, and based on your plan which has many holes in it, you are unlikely to achieve that in 3 days. Breeding and taming are both very different from ark, particularly breeding. I would suggest from your friend to pay very close attention to how it works. You gotta be in the right grid area with the right temperature, you gotta pay attention to the heat throughout the entire process like you do with eggs in Ark but this includes mating, gestation, maturation! If babies too hot or cold they will die. So much more to it than Ark. Good luck to you. Reading your plan and ideas shows that you clearly have not been following the game as closely as your think you have. But i'm sure things will change more before Console release so what is said now could be very different by then. I'll be interested at least to know if you explored the entire grid system and reached all areas in the first 3 days and reached lvl 100 in the first week. My money is on that being a failure, but of course only you'd have the proof to show that at the time.
  10. Went back to my little hut on Lawless today, tons of foundations spammed and massive gates blocking entire areas off. People love Lawless? Lol ok then.
  11. Animals should be claimable after 7 days I believe.
  12. I play official and I have commitment. I've played on official since day 1. I also play solo, but that hasn't stopped me. I've played 262 hours so far which over the course of existence of the game works out to 7.2 hours a day of commitment! However, if I take a 2 week holiday that makes me uncommitted? Solo players aren't allowed to take holidays without the risk of losing everything? If I logged out now and went on 2 week holiday all would be fine because i'd be on my land. How does taking a 2 week holiday make me uncommitted?
  13. Dude seriously, actually consider what you are talking about. Build small things? This IS my Island, you can't get much smaller than this! I turned it into this: You are telling me you feel there should be a mechanic in the game where I have to repair every single structure I have ever built to prevent my base falling down? Seriously you need to rethink what you are suggesting.
  14. Why would people want to make trips to distant lands when there are so many issues of ships vanishing when changing grids, or bears disappearing when telling them to board a ship. Why do you want to make a world of pirate and ships even more of a grind?
  15. No no no, enough of the grinding. Bad enough with stone structures effectively being metal structures now you want us to grind even more to keep buildings from falling down.
  16. You feel there is no place in this game for PvE, yet you came into a PvE specific thread and started commenting on it from a PvP perspective.
  17. Not in PvE you can't. People just spam foundations around so others can't build in lawless, you don't get that on other islands. Also I never spoke about server lag, I spoke about FPS.
  18. I revisited my old Lawless land the other day as I have a raft there with a bed on. The moment I spawned in I was greeted with tons of gates and foundations everywhere and knock-on effect on FPS was unreal. Certainly wasn't the Lawless I started on.
  19. Thanks, I think the issue I experienced was I move too fast in the water compared to the bear so the distance grew longer. I tested with a Bull and I successfully managed to keep it following me by slowing down my movement from time to time. The trap at least works though as I logged on this morning to find a lvl 14 horse stuck in it lol. Time to retry the bear!
  20. This is what currently happens. You reach 90+ you get debuff forever until you reach FoY. That is all that happens right now. Later they will introduce human breeding which gives another option instead of FoY where you can breed a baby and take over its body. At that point they will likely introduce old age death. Old age death will mean you lose everything unless you took over your babies body.
  21. Anyone know if you can kite bears across deep-ish water. I built a taming pen on my land, and there's a bit of water, not massively long or deep between my land and the mainland. I've hit a bear with arrows to agro it and it follows me a certain distance, about halfway then turns around and heads back. No matter how much I agro it the bear never seems to follow me all the way across. It's going to be impossible to tame anything if I can't kite it to my land where I have a pen.
