The "floating" issue on enemy boats was introduced when they introduced a fix to people sinking boats. The fix was not 100% effective, and the drawback on it is that now if you go onto the boat you'll be stuck floating. It's a known issue, but whether it will be changed or not is unknown.

I was more referring to those that say they don't want to create a company, like someone said in this topic that they didn't want to create one. So I was curious as to why. I never said whether you want one or not is a problem.

When placing a ladder at a ceiling doorway and placing a door there, you can't close the door when on the ladder. You can climb the ladder and open the door, but when going down to close the door you can only target the ladder. This happens on both wooden ladders and rope ladders. Makes the door pretty useless if you can't close it on the way out.

Just because you never once got bored with Ark or WoW doesn't mean every other game will keep your interest. I've got bored with tons of games over the years, did I ever complain? No, I moved onto more interesting games, or I made the game more interesting for myself.

It's no-ones fault if people get bored with the game, that's just natural. But more content doesn't necessarily mean it will be interesting again.

Is there anything in your logs to suggest they were killed? How long was it between you logging off and logging back on? If they aren't in the log as killed maybe they were agroed and are somewhere else on the island?

Well we don't know if it is soon or not I don't think, however, i'm certainly waiting until then. The debuff isn't really that annoying anyway, to be honest at one point we were all at the lower stats before anyway. What I just hope they make sure to do is that they give a decent enough time, and i'm not talking a week, i'm talking a few months between introducing human breeding and old age death. The funny side to it all is that when human breeding does get implemented there's going to be a ton of horny 100 year olds! From what we know, unless i missed anything, when you take over your childs body, you will be 20 years old again and have some type of boost in stats. I doubt they'd drop people back down to level 1 and no skills because then you'd not be able to use half the stuff you've made or repair it until you level again. But as I say no full details have been released yet I think.

Same reason why people say FIX THE GOD DAMN GAME! The game doesn't need fixing it needs balancing. Nothing is broken, except for things like connection issues or thing that don't literally work and loss of ships/pathfinders, but everything else, which majority of people complain about, is a balancing issue. There's plenty of time for balancing.

Oh i'm absolutely sure they are aware of the storm it has caused. I'm sure they are talking about it behind closed doors, but just because there is no public statement on it yet doesn't mean they are ignoring it.

Well it was only posted yesterday which was a Sunday so not even 24hrs since the poll was created.

People say they can't find land, but there's plenty of spots if you look and think outside the box. I found this mound of dirt early on... Then turned it in to this... And I have nearby islands to visit where I can farm resources. Some have taxation, some don't.

Do the beds actually work though? I went there yesterday and still could only spawn at the raft bed not the house bed. Unless there's been a change that was not retroactive?

It's quitting the game not quieting the game, unless you just mean turning the volume down. For someone that's complained a lot about not getting any land in game, not sure how you have anything to give. Now 400 hours out of almost a total of 720 hours that the game has been out for is a considerable amount of time to spend on a game you claim is boring, most people would recognise a boring game after spending a lot less than 60% of time in the game.

I saw someone mention this on Twitter in relation to this problem of crashing whilst viewing the server list. Might be worth giving this a try if it still persists for people. I took a screenshot of the Steam settings that you want to go to, hope it helps:

I know all about the debuff, I do pay attention. Please don't take what I say out of context. We were discussing the old age perma death at 100 yrs. That is what I was saying "nothing will happen" which is true and fact. Wait a few days and it will get worse? It won't get worse, the debuff will stay the same, my 97 yr old Pathfinder is evidence of that. Unless you know a fact that I don't?

Old age death is not implemented yet. They won't implement old age death before all other options such as human breeding is in place.

Nothing will happen at 100 yrs yet. The OP has zero experience of the game so doesn't know 100% what is in the game. So don't worry about hitting 100, yet anyway.

I'm curious why don't people want a company, what is it about them that you don't want to create one?

As I said the implementation of it all was poorly done, not denying that. However, the current state of fountain of youth is unlikely to remain this way forever, because i'm sure there will be balancing carried out on it. It's all part of the process.

Still nothing to do with what was being discussed though. Most games force people to do certain things, nothing new here. The issue here is that it was not introduced at the start. It's just like when things get taken away and nerfed people get upset about it because it got taken away, where as if things were like it from the start people wouldn't have anything to complain about because they wouldn't know anything better as it didn't exist. The implementation of this debuff was handled poorly yes, it should have been introduced after fountain of youth and human breeding, not at the same time when everyone is already at 90+. But the news of this perma death, debuff, fountain of youth and human breeding is nothing new, it was known before Atlas even released so it should have been expected. Just unfortunate the implemenation wasn't better. Just so you are aware, I am playing solo on Official PvE and am already 94 years old, so i'm affected just as much as everyone else that won't be able to reach fountain of youth.
