I rented a nitrado server to play crossplay with my friends who have it on xbox (I play on steam) which has been going well although expensive. I was told by a nitrado support person that savedata is deleted upon server expiration which is absolutely ridiculous. Hello I have rented an atlas server that I and my friends play on. I do not wish to rent the server every month consecutively, I plan on renting the server at irregular intervals so that we may on and off. My question is if my lease expires and I rent again months later will the server pick up where we left off? If so what if I decided to never rent again can I download my savedata and play offline? Here is the nitrado reply: Unfortunately, this isn't the case for Xbox servers, once they go offline and expire, the data will be deleted from our system. This is due to restrictions set by the developers on which data is allowed to be public for console servers. I submitted an atlas support ticket on this site: Hello I bought atlas twice. Once on xbox and found that non-dedicated hosting on xbox was broken, I then bought on steam to host because it is crossplay. I then found that only xbox and pc can crossplay with a nitrado hosted private server. So i bought Atlas twice and rented a server just to play with a few friends who had the game on xbox. I have just found out through a support ticket with nitrado that upon server lease expiration because of a restriction set by the developers. Why is this and can this situation be rectified? But my request was immediately marked as solved without reply, how has this situation been allowed to happen it seems the developers have no regard for player savedata not to mention the lack of info that led to this situation. I bought on xbox and hosting was broken, I bought on steam to host because I was told the game is crossplay then realized I had to lease a server to crossplay privately and now my savedata is being held hostage unless I continue paying for a server, this is some prime BS.

I need to know how to ban players from the 3x3 grid of servers I purchased. The only reason I made the purchase in the first place is so that I could provide a toxicity free environment for my players. Currently I have a 7 man company of all Xbox users, that have broken the rules I set for my grid. (Grief, disrespectful behavior toward my admins) I run atlas on my Xbox, there seems to be no working combination of commands or attempts to use the admin manager that allow for me to ban the players in question. Additionally NITRADO has no clear path to a list of players that have played on my grid, or a ban list. (These things exist for my Ark survival evolved servers.) Things that are not a solution: I am not interested in password locking my server, there's no way for new players to join without me telling them a password and that's ridiculous. I own a personal computer and run my servers through it, it has occurred to me to attempt the ban on PC, but I'd rather not purchase a second copy of this game. And lastly, I will not change the name or settings of my grid I have a good amount of active players and this would make things difficult for them. Not going to happen. Anyone know how to effectively ban a player from an Xbox/steam cross play server? Thanks

We were exploring with our wolves, we went to put them back on the ship, one started floating away from the ship side parallel and eventually fell back to the ocean. My crew mate got him again to the side of the ship and moved him onto the ship and he started floating away again parallel to the ship, this time I was on deck and whistled him to me which he ignored and then he sank, he sank deep, so far I couldn't see his name, we swam down after him but couldn't see his tag (the distance on that is so bad by the way, too low for players and tamed animals) eventually we got the message he had been killed. I guess he got stuck under the water/map, as to how he got dragged down was something to do with physics i guess. Getting any animal onto the galleon is a mission, the brigs and smaller ships not to bad. Its slightly easier if the gunports are closed or you eventually end up trying to play a jumping game up the open gunports. Animals dying when transporting them onto the ship is a thing, they do float away, they do sink into the ocean for some unknown reason. Bug report filed.

I have made a few custom maps already and am still currently working on making more. If you want to learn how to do it you can join my stream and follow along, ask questions, and get guidance. There are several other modders and mappers who are in voice chat with me who are also working on this. I can also cover how to setup your map on Nitrado.

I have a server in nitrado of 2x2 and every time I want to modify the skill points and other things (game.ini) the servers stop working. I use this pages https://wiki.nitrado.net/en/Per-Level_Stat_Multipliers_for_Atlas https://wiki.nitrado.net/en/Per-Level_Skill_Point_Multipliers_for_Atlas I wait 5 minutes after stopping the servers and I modify the game.ini of all the servers and when they start they do not work Any idea why this happens?

Now it has happened several times that a player for no reason drops dead. One was standing on a rock and just simply died with full health and stamina, next one was putting roof on his house...and just died for no reason. No deathmarker when coming back in game, no gear to recover, all gone. Quite a serious bug. Server hosted at Nitrado, and we all have good gaming pc's.

Logged in this morning to find our boat sunk beneath us, it had recently happened as I saw the name on the back of the ship sink before my eyes as the crew and animals aboard floated to their doom. In the log it just says that it was destroyed. We were 4 players sleeping aboard as well as a full crew (around 18 capacity). W'eve had this ship for a while now, although a heavy portion of the NPC crew we acquired the day we logged off. We were not docked in particularly shallow water so no collisions from the environment, however could it be that a player or NPC/player has caused a collision upon my login and to deal with the collision the game destroys the ship. I know this is a long shot as collision with players doesn't affect land structures, but essentially there are 3-5 things that can cause the collision with the ship, Tames, NPC Crew, Player Crew, Ocean and the ship itself. I've noticed often when logging off on the ship my body eventually slides off so I am not static on the ship when I am sleeping there.
