  1. The uninstall option is also on that right click menu, if they dont make good on a date or a promise soon its getting more tempting. In the original announcement of the server wipe back in feb they said new servers back up 18th of March no mention of PTR its now 4th April. Only Atlas game for over a month is check the forum daily for more BS.
  2. What he said, enough with this rubbish sure things needed fixing and changing but much more delays and cock ups there wont be many of the people who were happily playing before the 20th wipe was announced bothering to wait. We had a playable game before, then reset and wipe on the 20th announced, then that changes to a PTR, now that gets delayed again, its well past get your shit together time.
  3. This is early access not a "beta" if it was a "beta" people would have 1st expected wipes and not grumbled, 2nd If stated to still be a Beta probably could have made the choice not to Pay for it or invest alot of time in what is supposed to be a persistent world. Early access you expect alot of bugs, glitches, polish changes needed balancing etc, not re-vamp of core game involving wipes that should have been taken care of in previous BETA stage, not early access. Back on topic the original posters idea to make discovery points persist would at least provide some reason to play for three weeks, good idea to salvage somthing from shitty management of a good core game by Wildcard. I am with alot of people on the hat skin, you know where to shove it.
  4. If they wiped today I would be playing not posting, not happy about the wipe but would suck it up and get on with it, the wipe is bad management, this is early access not a beta , if games companys have scrapped the alpha, closed beta, beta, open beta, early access ladder its news to me, defending companys by crying out is early access as some sort of catch all excuse seems like the last refuge of fanboism, face it they have screwed up. Read what I wrote, I like the game I want it to succeed but too put people in limbo for three weeks is not just bad management its just plain shambolic and I dont have to like it or think its good and proper, just as you have a right to your opinion and dont have to agree with me.
  5. Been in many beta tests, have no problem with wipes, paid for early access on a persistent world where alot of content is behind hard work did not expect wipes. Where we do agree is Steam should make early access standards more clear, if wipes were going to be an option you wouldnt get any salt from me, I would either have not invested so much time or simply waited, Early access is different from a Beta test. "Misplaced expectations" Don't think so, this game needed an open beta phase before early access.
  6. Have 333 hours invested in the game, was enjoying it no end. If they wiped today I could just get on trying to re-build but three weeks away wtf why should I bother to log in. Please dont give me any early access BS, lag, bugs, crashes, changes I can put up with, 333 hours of work wiped is hard, what guarrantee do we have they wont come up with "good" reasons to wipe again after people invest a load more time. I have been waiting for a game like Atlas a long time and want it to succeed, trying to ignore alot of the early access hate for the game that is on the net but wiping peoples time invested efforts leaves a very bad taste and give me a sense of mistrust that will take a long time to receed.
  7. I dont know the solution but the foundation spam and the huge walls need regulation if selfish people cant show some common decency, but its the internet common decency is a mythical beast so come on DEVS regulate their asses. And while your at it clean up the used ships thats have stood idle for weeks on end. Both a quality of life improvemants for the players not to mention reducing server load.
