It would be possible by giving the engram called Skill_ExploreTheDepths, using somethign like this in Game.ini: However, AFAIK you need to set bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=true and bAutoUnlockEngrams=true, which means you have to unlock all of the engrams with EngramEntryAutoUnlocks at different levels. I don't know of a way other than a console command (or mod) to unlock one specific engram.   6. I may be missing something, but if the power stones (PowerStoneIndex custom data) are used to unlock the Kraken, what are the essences for?
  7. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm trying to have less than the 8 PVE islands on my map, say 3. If I change the global quest parameter QuestPointsOfInterest to only have three of them, is that sufficient? Are the PowerIndex parameters for islands hard coded to need all stones or can I have just 3 of them? Just wondering what precisely triggers the boss. Also, what are the "Essence" stones for? They're in the trenches, right?

  10. I've experienced flaky transitions while attempting to set up a new map. Sometimes a tile would work, sometimes it would time out. No one else but me on the server, as I was setting it up. Previous to 1.5, things were going smoothly other than my usual complaint about tames and crew disappearing when following off ships on Linux Servers. I've given up for now, waiting for a few more patches.
  11. Haha! I spoke too fast, my mod allows building the sub, but not drive it... yet Working on it, missed something. EDIT: Fixed, with the caveat that once granted, the ability to craft and drive the sub is permanent, even if the player respecs and doesn`t take the skill again.

  13. In the dev kit, Skill_ExploreTheDepths gives the submarine crafting skill. Looks easy to mod as well, as I've highlighted below. So it shouldn't be long before someone posts a mod. Doesn't help you on Official, unfortunately...
  14. FYI 100.0 DevKit works fine with the sextant buff on the default TestMapArea.
  15. Downloaded the new one today from the link at the top of the following post. I used Chrome, so I could resume when it failed (and it did a few times, resume, and continue download).

  17. I have a tile with one Freeport and a few other islands. Setting the Freeport spawnPointRegionOverride to 0, and the other islands to 10, 11, 12, etc. worked for me. I of course have only one spawn region defined in that cell.
  18. Have the Linux binaries been updated to 100.81? Mine are still showing 100.61 for some reason, and steamcmd says I'm at the latest revision (3748843).
  19. Oddly enough, I did notice that Mnt_Y_WU_PVE was missing from the official ServerGrid.json, and that PowerStone1 was assigned in a tile without a PVE island. Looks likes strings and bubblegum are holding it together...
  20. @Jatheish It was mentioned on twitter that a new Dev Kit would be out soon?
  21. @Jatheish @Dollie Tames and crew following off ships in games hosted on Linux servers is still broken in 100.61 Are the devs aware of this and it's just a matter of priorities before you get to fixing the Linux build?
