  1. dreams are always more bright in your mind than in reality my friend, yet i wish you luck in your travel. so many questions unaswered
  2. i find more funny the fact that people comes to a survival game and complain about wild creature levels (wich have been nerfed to the point of acting like they have alzheimer) after playing about 1 hr lol (and i am a critic of the game!! xD)
  3. why open a new thread when you have another with the same subject? i was about to answer, then remembered how hostile you were to other repliers, so you will have to find out yourself.
  4. @UDO @Percieval he is probably making some sort of referrence/analogy to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copper_sheathing but his hostility was way over the top specially when asking people for information.
  5. you are confusing terminology here, he found a workaround to a poorly implemented/buggy feature that has nothing to do with something being easy/hard by design, that said i am glad for him.
  6. i have lost count how many times we have mentioned this and other taming related problems, they dont seem to care, even tho this game is a tame simulator.
  7. i was highlighting the key words, and i didnt decontextualize anything so i dont see the problem, other than you being frustrated by your own lack of a counter argument wrong again, my posts suggest i played the game, yes the past tense of play, havent touched this crap in several months, nor i will in the next months (or ever), i come here to educate people, forcing them to open their eyes to reality, the gaming industry is playing the game of indoctrinating us into a culture of conformism and mediocrity so they can do as they please, i wont let that happen, as long as i can do something about it i will, even if it means that i have to argue with trolls and haters, and like i said this aint about bugs alone, bugs is only 10% of whats wrong with this game, still 10% is worth mentioning so you are factualy admiting your own excuse for the current state (being in early access) wont make a difference at all after the game is finally released yes, as i mentioned above they are in alpha stage of development, whats your point? nope, as i said i am not, why would i play this having 7 days to die, exygen not included and satisfactory??? PS: if you tought blocking me would stop me from quoting you, well you are deeply mistaken
  8. mediocity: Complacence with the current state of things Conformism: Acceptance of low standars i already singlehandedly do my job to my utmost, and the last thing you will recieve from me is mediocre labour you are looking at a piece of a puzzle here, this topic is nothing but a grain of sand in the desert that atlas is, i assume you are new here, so i will suggest you to inform yourself about the current state of the game, the actions taken by the developers and how that fits the current state of the gaming industry, when you see the whole picture you will see my point. whats the problem with that? complaining is feedback and feedback makes you better, unless: A) The feedback is void of argumentation (wich is not the case since i have given tons and tons of fact based arguments in this forum) B) Your ego is bigger than your brain, in that case you will get oversensitive and offended by criticism wich will blind you and render you unable to move forward PS: i will share with you other games that have the same developing state than atlas: -7 days to die: Zombie survival, alpha state of development, much more polished and well designed than atlas. -Satisfactory: Factory simulator with open map exploration, Beta state of development, much more polished and well designed than atlas. -Oxygen not included: Strategy/colony management simulator, Beta state of development, much more polished and well designed than atlas. all of these are early access games, all of them are games worth their price every penny, they are in early acces because they stil lack that bit of optimization/content (and one bug here one there) that comes in the late phase of development, atlas was not even a game when it was sold as early access, it was designed as an ARK DLC but sold as a new game, the examples above are early access, atlas is not, it is a scam.
  9. and you know what even better? you will still look for excuses even when its officially released in a pityfull state, why? because thats what mediocrity and comformism are all about.
  10. and you know what funny? it hasnt been fixed yet!!
  11. yeah, keep an eye open, like the time a vulture started attacking my 90% tamed olfend then i shoot it while it was about 2 meters above the ground and the arrow kills my olfend wich was lying on the floor instead because hitboxes are not fucked up or anything yeah i will be wearing heavy armor in a desert biome in a pve server ROFL yeah the lion will kindly let you do the minigames for the medikit *facepalm* yeah i am sure pirates gave a lot of tought to their vitamins diet LOL but lets not see the obviously stupid creature spawning mechanics, the faulty and most of the times usless endurance system and improvised taming system, lets be mediocre and conformist, i am pretty sure if we dont mention it they will focus on solving it instead of going for a quick cash grab in other platforms....wait... thats the problem, this is a farming/taming simulator not a pirate game, and thats not even an opinion, we have only 4 types of ships while 27 different tameable creatures.
  12. i hope they never implement such a bullshit idea to be honest.
  13. welcome to atlas , and you have not yet experienced taming in its full potential, just wait until you tame a creature for like half an hr and then a volture comes and kill it, or when you are taming an olfend and a lion literally rains on you, killing you, your mount and the animal you were trying to tame, or when you are in the middle of a taming process and you get a heatstroke even tho you have 200 millions endurance, and yes be ready to die hundreds of time trying to make it to the feeding point only to find the "press to feed" button does nothing, you my friend should have seen some youtube videos about the current state of the game before buying it, cant blame you to expect a semi-fuctional product but this is 2019 not even that is a given anymore. thats not always the case, when i tried taming a elephant i would have the same problem, then kill all the elephants nearby and wait for respawn, problem still persisted, is just bad code. wich is insanely funny since the thing developers seemed to care about (until fortunately the new guy came in) were tames.
  14. i dont need to, -how many type of ships did we have at start? 4 (raft doesnt rly count), how many we have now after 10 months? 4 -how many different sea activities have been added to the sea in the last 10 months? none if you are considering a "water mule" content, well you might just want to go farmville, at least thats a finished game, and dont get me wrong you are welcome here, but if your interests swing to the farming/taming side there are much better game for that than atlas.
  15. i made a galleon for myself when we had the x6 event....hated it, couldnt even turn to pick up loot after killing a SotD, So i made tiny lil pieces out of it and built 2 briggs
  16. no, its a product, one for wich we paid. thats factually wrong, they spent 6 of the last 10 months working on the console version of Atlas, not in content, not even in anything pc version related there is, is called polish, is called being professional, and how elements are defined to atach to eachother is something so fundamental that you dont even need to delay its improvement because of the development itself. thats like building a house with a poor base and saying is because you might want to remodelate the upper rooms in the future. yeah because lets work for free now? holy molly today's society... because it not about the game having 1 issue, is about the game itself being a compilation of unresolved issues that continue unresolved because the bastards decided to stop working on the pc version of atlas to ficus on the xbox version. what previous titles show is how companies abuse the patiece you talk about to deliver crapy half baked products.
  17. while i agree with you 100% this is Grape Shot we are talking about, they will just sit their asses and wait for a mod to fix it, then copy paste his code in, so you need to ask modders to do it not the developers
  18. duuuuude if you go for a schoner then better a brigg!!
  19. imo the fact that the sub uses mythos while we have oil in the game is a double fail, resources are supposed to be valuable but oil as of now is kinda useleess aside from crafting and repairing, there is so many ways to use the current assets of the game (rock oil as an example), add value to them by making it the fuel source and by that enrich the gameplay that i dont rly get why they meant when they said they wanted atlas to be like eve online, in eve you fight for resources in here the resources has little to no value. whats the point of raiding people to just get wood fiber and some metal? thats even lame.
  20. is not about being hard or easy, is about the grind, the game was implicitly advertised as a game to explore have fun battles in the sea etc, not as a "hey! we introduced a sub, but you have to do this gated content", "ohhh and you wanna use your sub now?, go grind this rare material", it all revolves arund being forced to do "X" wich coicidentaly doesnt even have anything to do with the sea. I could accept it if the underwater exploration was some sort of end game thing in wich you can achieve "X" very important something to enhance your ship, but as of now the only people who wants to go underwater are either the explorers or the tamers, all this while killing Sot'D's ( wich should be THE core feature of the game, and the reason why people who like sea battle action like me bought the game to begin with) barely offers anything. So is not about the "piece" of the puzzle is how it fits wich everything else, including what you sold to people.
  21. you gotta be kidding, is already hard to find a reason to play the game and they make it a grind now to use game gated content? how many times can they shoot themselfs in the foot.
  22. then why not ask for every weekday to have x2 rates?? if you want to balance something always balance it to the positive side, always as an improvement not the opposite, the gaming industry says: "add value to it" also remember this is not rust or ark, the gameplay where you see and interact with other players should be at the sea not only in land, imo we should have much more ships focused variety and options instead of it being a bunker building simulator. (not saying you do that tho) lastly rather than adjectivizing my analogy you should stop for a moment and see what i mean and how it would benefit everyone and if you dont see it just ask, i will explain my toughts and you can do the same.
  23. sooo what you are asying is: i dont like getting a extra pay for working weekends, it doesnt motivate me to work on weekdays, so i prefer to get weekends and weekdays paid the same even tho is less money in total......mmmkkkay
