  2. I was wanting to know if it would be possible for us to get a list of all the previous versions of the servers and access to the files for manual download/installation. For the purposes of Bug reporting/fixing. Reason this came up, is after a recent update I am not able to connect to my server. The only thing different is the version update, clearly something one of the mods is conflicting and preventing the connection I know this. However the point is people that have implemented more than a few mods can't really do a trial and error by removing 1 mod to see if the server works. It's a waste of time. I want to be able to first have a Server running a version that I know works while, I go ahead and upgrade on my main. Then if I run across this problem again I can simply see what is different from the previous version compared to the new one and find out why the Mod is conflicting and fix it instead of relying on others to fix it for me. So for that we would need access to previous stable versions of the servers.
  3. I am willing to accept/or do more requests for drawings, either NSFW or SFW pictures. NSFW pictures will only be accessible to people over 18+ it will do no good to request one if you are not of age. - No body fluids no gore, no lola no scat point of reference materials such as Screenshots or pictures of your face (if you want me to include your features on the piece being drawn,) welcomed otherwise it comes from my own server. final pictures will be uploaded to deviantart mature pictures will have age restriction on them so as said before it would do no good to request a picture if you are not of age because you will not be able to access it until you are of age. I will not send mature pictures via dm/email/twitter. There is no charge I am willing to do these for free within reason, if the request borders on the outrageous or if I start getting spam,junk requests I will have to start charging to deter them.   5. As of Midnight Us eastern time, I am not able to log into any server even my own private server. The game gets to the main menu and as I attempt join I get the Hard crash message window pop-up and the game crashes. from what I saw from the message it's related to VR - I am not using my headset it's turned off. In attempt to get around it I've uninstalled and unplugged Oculus. Still occurs attempted on 2 different pcs on 2 seperate networks the one with vr can not log-in, the one without VR on it can.   6. So I've watched/seen a lot of hours of content and personally while ingame. That while in battle in pvp that many are ill-equipped for dealing with raiders/borders went fighting naval battles they primarily build the ships defense for just the conflict between ships with out much consideration for melee combat. People act/seem surprised or caught off guard when gliders fly onto their ships or people climb up their ladders. So this is just a generic build for internal defense on a Galleon - also the build for my battle-bridge which protects the person on the wheel from bombardment from Damned ships or other player ships. For those that don't need much explaining to understand - the 1st video is the time lapse version it will show you me building the galleon on my own server (replicating what we built on the official server just faster) The 2nd videos is the exact same video and a lot longer however it will contain my ramblings as I explain the madness behind everything and why I build what I do where I do. The only thing I would note for the swivel cannon the Ideal ammo choice is Liquid fire because grapeshot takes too long to reload - The fire you can fire short bursts and do a lot of damage quickly to people that are attempting to rush your ship/bridge.   9. I ran across this bug in the dedicated server - it is updated to the latest patch however it is not allowing NPC's to be purchased
  10. On my server that I have been on, the problem of the NPC crew from the NPC in the freeport is present. meaning you can't buy any crew from the NPC. The fix that was done for the official server isn't working for this. So does anyone know any fixes or a way/command to spawn NPC crew.

Here is my entry for the show and tell - I always used to like making videos and I don't get to do it very often now'a days. - the idea was to take something serious like the honor of our ship and mix it with a little humor with the pretend subtitles - The plot story - is that Convoy of Damned ships have been reported in D15 and we're on route to intercept.   12. Because of the PVE settings not allowing people on to other people's ships birds get stuck on our ship. When you unanchor the ship they count as crew and your ship starts to sink because you have too many crew. After killing the birds you go back to normal.
  13. Thank you for a great guide teach I will be using it to setup my own little mess around server. There is one thing I'd would like suggest be added to the guide. I've setup my own servers before and I've worked my local ISP company as their technical support and can't tell you how many times I got calls because people stopped being able to connect to their servers all of a sudden. - The reason for it is that your public IP address has a lease time- You are renting your external IP address from your internet company. If you are planning to run any kind of server it is better to use a static IP address one that doesn't change. Now the confusing part is although the IP address is temporary you can end up having the same IP address for a long time, then it suddenly changes and I can't tell you how many times I get asked why it changed now. So you bare with me, I will try to explain as simple as possible, this is not meant to insult anyone. I am jsut aware that not everyone is a CCNA certified tech. So to check on your IP address Lease time you can open your command prompt/command terminal and look up your Ip configuration settings. Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : Wednesday, January 30, 2019 7:48:13 AM Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : Saturday, February 2, 2019 6:39:14 AM Although, the expire time is set for tomorrow. It doesn't automatically mean you will lose your current IP address and be given something new. Several things have to happen at that time. If your internet/router is turned off during that time. That IP address becomes available, and another person's internet/router comes online and requests and IP address. the Internet companies router will see what IP address is available and if that IP address which was yours (currently up for grabs) is still up for grabs the ISP router will assign that IP address to the new person requesting one. - When you come online next day. You would obtain a new IP address and start to wonder why you or anyone can no longer connect to your Atlas server. If you remain online or your router doesn't go offline. At the time it expires it would just simply request the IP address and you obtain the same IP address back again for another 90 days The same process applies for your own personal private IP address. Those 192.168. like in my example , is set to expire tomorrow. So any other device could get that Private IP address the pc currently has which would screw up your internal settings of the servers. So it better to make sure your private is set to static if not anything else. Of cause it is entirely up to anyone what they want to do. Having been on the end of the phone with people calling up frantic about it I am hoping I can spare some people some panic lol. This is something you need to be aware of and keep in the back of your head when you run your own server that if you don't use Static IP address sooner or later. - This will happen to you. It can be 3 days up to 6 months because you wake up to everything changing. (additional information: If you call about obtaining a Static IP address and your ISP only has something called "DHCP-reservation" this is fine, it is the same as a Static. It is a fake Static IP address - It is an IP address that is Static on the ISP side and push to you via DHCP (Dynamic) they bound the IP address to the mac-address of your router/ or whatever device is behind your modem. So if you change routers you have to call to re-register the mac of the new router. This is a secure way to manage static IPs and not having to worry about other people hi-jacking your Ip address. As you don't need to worry about any DNS IP, or Default gateway. all of that is done for you and pushed to you via DHCP) Also before starting to setup your server - You need to check with your ISP normally on their website if they block any kind of ports for home users (people who don't use Static IP addresses) If this is the case for you then no matter what you do people from outside of your home will not be able to reach your server unless you have a static IP address or use some 3rd party service like a dynamic IP address. source : http://www.sectv.com/Web/aspInternet.aspx?strSystem=LV IP traffic sent to customers on ports TCP 25, TCP 80, TCP 443, TCP 445, TCP 1080, TCP 6667-6669, TCP 1433-1434, TCP & UDP 135-139, TCP & UDP 67 are blocked for security and network management reasons to minimize customer's computers from being virus infected through well known vulnerabilities and/or to avoid infected or hostile computers from affecting other users computers.
  14. Fast traveling to ships. or spawning on Ships in NA PVE Produces this error. Ship appears in its individual components, not as a collective whole ship. The player is stuck not able to get out of th frame of the ship. The only work around is - to restart the client and the ship appears normal again time of screenshot 05:30am EST -
  15. I know you guys are in a tight spot and you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. However I fear you are setting a very dangerous president You wont Rollback - When the game screws up and the Sotd with machine gun cannons sinks everyone's galleons because of a bug. But you will rollback for an exploit that affected a few, far fewer than what was impacted by that bug on both servers. Perhaps you can explain it to these guys where they didn't get a rollback and these people deserved a rollback, hmm? or perhaps explain it to these guys

RE: Atlas Early access/development Dear Jatheish I am writing this in an effort to help maintain a productive way in to furthering and improving the development of this MMO we currently enjoy. It has become clear to me, very clear to me that the biggest problem to the advancement of this game is your very own team. I have seen a lot of games come and go I am 37 years in age, I was there when World of Warcraft was launched, I was there in Beta of Starwars Galaxies empire divided, I was in Beta for Matrix online, I played myth of Soma, Eve online beta, Lineage 2 beta, Diablo 1 through to 3 beta. Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) killed their games from extremely poor management and poor community skills. Matrix online team WB killed their game with in-experience and sold it to SOE who put the final bullet in it. The Greatest MMO killer is its creators. I have played countless of games too many to list them all here, so I am somewhat experienced. Everyone I listen to tells me you were part of the team that worked on Ark and you broke away to make this MMO separate. So I had hoped that you brought with you some experience however that is not the case. As you are making a lot of mistakes that newer game developers make and before it’s too late the faith in their product has tanked (e.g Star trek online, I have a live time sub to that but I’m playing this instead says it all.) Rather you choose to hate or dislike Blizzard and their MMO there has to be something that kept it alive for so long. That is what you should be trying to emulate not trying to come up with your own way. Because you simply can’t it isn’t new, too many people have tried and it has all failed. None of the games I have mentioned have the success or fame they do now from when they first opened. The new stars wars game has the nickname World of Warcraft in space, for pity sake. So please allow this letter to serve as wakeup call as it was intended. You apologized for the rough start to early access, as you were not prepared for the numbers. Which shows you do not -Think, You do not plan, you do not plan to fail and shows no logical thinking at all- There is no 2nd 1st impressions, this is what everyone will remember you for now. So straight off the bat you already shot yourself in the foot (and we only get two feet.) But ok you apologized and no one is perfect, Getting over that. Yet here we are, with problems that are in the game, Your solution is to keep bringing out new content hoping to entertain people and dazzle them to hopefully distract them from the problems of the game. However when your problems are the scale of a group of people sinking peoples ships, or entire servers not even being playerable, or when you max your on screen ping to 255ms because if you showed the real number no one would ever play it, to entire sections of the game that is just simply not accessible or reachable. Then we don’t care how many shiny new pieces of armor you put in front of us these game breaking, gameplay effecting, player grieving is driving people away from the game, Early access or not. Your acting like a little boys on the street corner shouting your selling lemonade, while standing next to Walmart that has the internet to shout on. It doesn’t matter what you as the boy shout no one is going to hear you over the loud voice of these problems. SO I URGE YOU to please just hit the breaks on the new content. Just stop. It doesn’t impress us when every new thing you put into the game is just broken anyway and it becomes more stuff for your to fix. Adding to the list of things to never get fixed. - You already admitted that you didn’t plan for the volume of people, You apologized but you clearly have not learned from that mistake. - The FOY feature should have been in from day 1 not waited until weeks later when you have thousands of people at or close to the age of death. Of cause everyone would rush to it. I just was honestly astounded you did not stagger the release. You keep making the same dumb mistakes doing things that was expected for a few hundred when you have 1000s going to one place in the game. (WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?) I take advantage of the tool discord and I try to talk to the people in there, I was told by a member of the grapeshot team the reason the ships now attack ships that are docked is to add realism. (realism, really?) When in hindsight now having went to area of fountain of youth. I saw clearly why the Twisters and the ships of the dammed (sotd) are coming to the shore I saw it myself. They were destroying/ all the docked ships at the island for the FOY - I honestly thought it was a recreation of the allied landings at D-day in pirate version. So many ships and so many ship wrecks, While the server was completlely lagged out for its 30-60min spells. I jumped off into the water while the game still thought I was in the crows nest to see all the ship wrecks ( screenshots below.) All this clutter is creating lag. Now I have never played Ark, I never heared about it honestly until I came to Atlas, the Twitch Streamer Pokket started playing this and it got me interested. However the people in my company have soon as I showed them what I was seeing – they all said you guys should know better it was the same problem in Ark. Which appears to be the common theme here, (You should know better.) It is clear to me the biggest problem which I have said it once before here however it bares repeating. As things stand with the things as they are. The biggest threat to this game right now, is the entire team and your way of thinking. Because you are harming your own game, you keep making the same mistakes. Which demonstrates you do not learn, or learn too slow. It is very common for Developers to get caught up in their own game and want to keep advancing it. However they all came to realize the same thing after a while - SOE, Blizzard, Linage, Bioware all of them, and this is the key point here. Developers are under the mistaken impression that the players are always wanting new content and feel under pressure to give. But that is simply not the case. – Blizzard in the 2nd year it was out asked its players flat out after a bunch of us complained - and asked everyone “What do we as players want” The unanimous answer was to fix the game they are not worried about new content with the state the game was in then. Blizzard actually listened and said ok then we do that. Then and only then when the majority of the bugs were fixed did they start working on the new stuff (before the new staff took over etc.) As of right now – The one and only thing you should be doing is fixing the game. – STOP V16 Stop any new content for now and work on fixing the stuff you have out now. I don’t care about the FOY, I don’t care about the baby stuff, I don’t care about any of the new stuff if I can’t play the basic game and would prefer to go on a private server instead of dealing with the Skyscraper towers in A11, or the people sinking ships by standing on ladders or Galleons getting stuck in loading zones. That is what Early access is about. Finding and fixing bugs. Not identifying them so we can tag them and let them back into the wild as we go ahead create new bugs to fix two weeks later. Get a good foundation game under you before you start adding new stuff. Otherwise your tower of cards will crumble every time. – and for christ sake stagger the FOY before you completely break your game for a limited time have the FOY open at all locations otherwise you are going to keep getting thousands of people going to one tiny spot and crash the games every time. ( common sense) The only thing you have displayed to me is that 1. You don’t think, 2. You don’t look ahead, 3. You don’t plan 4. Your narrow minded vision (i.e blinkers on) 5. Your going down a path and you don’t care what you hit or destroy to get there. At the end of it all your going to have a nice game but no one or the interest to play it because they all be on private servers or buggered off to another game in the two years it will take to fix this cluster of a mess you created. For the record we as the players don’t care about the time it takes, as long as we know you are fixing the game. Going back to the time on Blizzard 2nd year of WOW after we got our way and blizzard listened. Anyone that came on to the forums and complained – we explained it to them, some in a nice way (some not online forums you know ) Soon as it was explained people were fine with just waiting so they can have a good basic game to play on that they know was reliable and it was WOW was extremely stable. Then they added the 2nd expansion there was bugs etc but the basic game stayed the same until the expansion was fixed or fixed to a state that everyone can live with. – They didn’t go back to touch their Foundation game until Cataclysm where they redid their entire map to allow flying in that area that was like at least 10 years without touching their basic game (correct me if I’m wrong on the years.) However the point remains – unless you have a good foundation of a game to stand on – all of this is mute. I submit this to your viewing in hopes it would be received – I will be posting, mailing and emailing this. As I have extremely high hopes for this product to be turned around before it gets shot in the head before it even gets off the ground. Because you’ve already shot yourself in one foot, and I’d say you’ve taken skin of your only remaining foot you don’t have that many body parts remaining.   18. Picture speaks for itself this happed on Fallcaster Isles PVE NA server A11 - I was gonna take it out with my ship however I ran out of ammo so we took it out with our swords got up close to see the under on the cannons lol.

  20. The Servers are not up except the EU PVE server that is up. So they must still be updating -- or they broke something one or the other
  21. No you can not make contact with them behind the NPC , I attempted globel chat to get the other people to move theirs but they were having the same trouble. In the end I went to another freeport and got a crew member from a NPC that had none around them. It still spawned behind but as it was the only one. It came right out. The spawn point needs to be change simply. The Free trading company on the NA PVE lost much more than I did. The 1st time I went there there was like 8 to 9 crew members standing on top of each other. All stuck they couldn't have been happy all that gold gone to waste.
  22. When hiring a new crew member, they deploy behind the NPC and get stuck making it impossible to retrieve them or have them follow you the only thing you can do is unclaim them. I'd like my 5 gold back please!
  23. I don't know if this was one of the work arounds you tried, However Vorpx doesn't work with this attempted to copy the profile of Ark/FF15 /Assassins creed to try and get it to work but it fails. The game is blocking access to their update server for VR. most likely a miss typed URL for one.
