You can actually treasure hunt solo... Use terrain and flame arrows for all but big one, then go into melee with 2h mace and blocking evading on big on (normal arrows are sufficient,elee needed on big one so he does not go into ground regenerate)

You might be a bit too SJW here.. it's true that a mechanic that potentially locks you out of the game for many days is very bad... But it's still open internet and if people want sex slaves or behave in other ways bad it's their own thing... It's just a game! But not being able to play a game you payed for without restart because an asshole locks you up and force feeds you is not ok

They never bothered to fix grieving in ARK... Why do you think they will start here?

Yes please.. Playing the game without grieving, rates for people that have a life besides the game and skill points or endless Respec to try out everything...

we need this... i am almost max lvl and with current skill nerf i only can respec every lvl to try different things currently: make cannons, guns and ammo - respec make armor and weapons + ammo - respec make ship - respec have everything ready do another respec and do captaining... maybe some combat skills or pirating if i have some points left

i love how the first reply was "this is EA".. this basically sums up whatever people have to say about their negative experiences (some might earn it, most dont) EA is not a joker to disregard everything and seriously without a roadmap which we player/community can possible change and without tools to see what is actually worked on like trello/... its not an EA.. its just an excuse to not test shit internally

i do play solo on PVE. i asked myself today why to i continue to endure this? currently i just farm ship parts for better times, so when its confirmed that you can go to sea again without loosing hard work to ghostships, i can finish a shooner and start playing... but then what? i can hunt treasure and recruit people, thats it (i am not talking about end-game content to finish your compass - for that you need other people!) so i could join a company, but the skill system still fucks me.. because i do not want to make ships forever or buildings or taming or planting! i want to have a combat specialisation and 1-2 crafting ones, but even that reduces the value i can get out of the game... i want to try all out, spend some weeks - months doing something and then something else! but i can only have one char on the server! i honestly think the whole concept currently is very flawed and people will very quick get bored from doing the same one shit all over again while there are many other things they could do!

For me personally thats the least of the issues... but maybe i am used to die/respawn since day one i just ignore nutrition because its tedious and just die/respawn

well besides of UO when i played on RP servers... im quite sure that shit talking existed too, we might had different lines today than we had 2 decades earlier with more access to the internet and social media

you do know that every MMO can be played alone until you hit end game content? but yeah keep telling you that until your shipmaker leaves because he get bored from only making ships

The game is in EA so we can give feedback and report bugs to help you make a game people enjoy? Or is EA just an excuse to have free QA? Currently i was not able to play the game to give actual constructive feedback... my exp so far: When i finally found a small spot on an island after the initial issues i started building a ship... was building it for days.. in between waiting because resources do not respawn, and then getting skill point nerf so i have to specialise to one thing only... and when i was about to finish the ship so i can explore the game freaking ghostships came and nuked it... Seriously if i have to spend all the time grinding to make a ship that then just vanishes or explodes or get sunk from NPC, there is not much i can discover to give actual feedback... Same goes for skills... if can only try out one skilltree i can not test the different skills and give feedback on it! Yes eventually the game will be grindy and the skillpoints will be nerfed. But for now while this game is so damn unstable let us just be able to discover the game so we can actual give constructive feedback and not just complain because we cant do anything...

there is a history lesson looking at other MMO's... you need to have either the ability to create multiple chars (smith/fighter/...) or you have to separate combat/crafting skills! almost nobody want to only play a shipmaker or smith for the rest of their gametime! the majority of people will want to mostly fight/explore and do crafting on the side (granted in this game there might also enough people who happy with just base building - but they are also screwed by claiming system). And then there is the EA aspect! we are supposed to give feedback and find bugs... how can i give feedback if i cant skill anything than one tree (if im lvl 50, which i am not so i can only skill half a tree...)
