This feature has no real purpose. Every player I know just kills themselves and respawns. No need to eat or drink. Ever.

I watched both of those videos. The first one he is character creation screen, the second in the join game screen. Where do you see him duping metal. What am I missing because the video shows nothing.

Can someone explain why we need taming in this game? First off, there are two many creatures that you spend 3/4 of your time fighting them off. Not sure when you would have the opportunity to tame one. Secondly, this is supposed to be a pirate game. What do I need with tamed creatures on a ship roaming the seas? Other than a parrot or perhaps a monkey, I just don't see any taming being done whatsoever. This seems to be a pointless feature.

Joined a company last night and actually got to engage in some PVP as part of a group instead of getting killed without a fight by myself. The group I was with all had armor and were higher than level 20. One of our guys was out collecting resources near the base and was killed by one member of a rival group on the island. We had eight players take off from our base to exact revenge only to have 5 of us killed by a level 5 character wielding nothing but a torch and wearing no armor. WTF???? It took several waves of spawning and attacking to finally kill the guy. Either the torch is OP or the armor is trash. This is a scenario that should never happen.

then after many hours in a "freeport" to gather resources to make a raft, you go finally come to an island... where there are so many claim flags, gators, snakes, you cannot do anything but die and have your raft destroyed. Good luck to you.

I thought this was supposed to be a pirate game. NO. It is RUST/ARK with islands. Forget the pirates. That is just a sales gimmick.

and you think connection problems are your issue??? hahahahahahaha. This game sux from the point you leave the "safezone" . If you don't believe me.... I dare you to leave a safe zone and build a base anywhere.....I will wait for your response........

I love survival games but this is a survival game without a point.

spent 8 hours IRL sailing from a "freeport" to a couple of sectors that were not in the "spawn area". All islands were loaded with claim flags. Could not approach any of the islands without being attached by 1000 gators and 4000 snakes. This game is worthless. Sorry. That is the reality. There is no "gameplay" for most players unless you like looking at endless ocean for many hours only to die at the end of your journey.
