the 2 day thing apreas to be a bug. This came along with the fixed timers. The new system allowing for 2weeks of protection is something @Jatheish said was coming soon. No date on that. But can also confirm. that if you have a group of claims that are all touching each other that you can upkeep all of them only by entering one. Not sure if thats ment to be that way or not. But will help peopel that planned claims instead of just running and dropping

this is patched now. NO more griefers sinking ships due to exploits anymore

This wasn't about how the ship sank. THis was all about what happened to it under water. In the video you can see where all my storage boxes are. and that entire section was inside a rock. we were only able to salvage about 5 planks and 1 deck piece.. all the storage boxes were lost.

This is not 100% true. i know places that had upkeep before the patch still do. Anythign thats claimable that i have seen was claimable before the patch just now there are no more sleepers.

They wont limit the amount of claims, As the more claims you have the less protection you will get and the faster it is for somoen to steal. So the more claims you have the harder it is for you to keep the mall

that seems to be an oversight cause of the change in the timer. We dont know if the claims will expire them 00:00 yet

yha was hoping would catch that..some peopel have been trying to claim the new system is letting them steal anyones land reguardless of the protection system

Ok so if your popping in and droppign a flag and stealing this is from them being out of the game for weeks and they bodies being deleted. But your not stealing land from somone that was active lastnight. Yha the threeday protection system has been on and working for weeks now... What your reading in the note from jat is a change in the sytem. Much liek the steal timer where the more flags you have the shorter the protection window. This is a change to an existing system

And how did you manage that? everyone else isnt able to claim over top of somthign that has upkeep>?

If somone has an entire island claimed they would be like 15 min steals.

However with this systme that 1 person would never beable to upkeep the land and would loose it to new people

We'll think on having a minimum before the number starts shrinking, or perhaps it'll just be 1 flag = 2 weeks. These numbers may not be exact and might change by the time we deploy, but that's the general idea.

Mine still crashed in paingting.. Too much to paint it looks like. .connection times out.. Which is wierd cause the sail take alot longer and never timed out from it. @Jatheish Will have to look but cant imagine its high on priority

This is exactly what i have been telling peopel theres alot of of land waiting out there some even with bases on it.

Yes i enjoy the way they allowed you to see somones steam account name. NO longer able to be trolled or griefed by someone hiding behind another name. Theres 3 options. 1 you can see anyones steam ID that types in chat with the option in advancded runed on. 2. you can see peoples Steam name when they connect to the server with a similar option. 3 Battlemetrics allows you to see all persons connected to a server, how long thye have been there, other servers they have visited, and average playing time in a server.

Just an FYI for everyone.. They have confirmed that overwintering on PVE is not meant to happen just cause you can still do it doesn't mean that its allowed. Common scene says that they just patched this still doing it would be considered Exploiting/Griefing.
