  1. I do not understand, atleast in PVE you should have to option to sell your ship to somebody (like in ARK you could "sell" your Dino). Also for dedicated Server a Config Option to allow this (or not) would be an option. PLEASE

You have to make ship routes and add NPCTrader1 (-8) for the pathname, you can see it on the 4x4 grid example in your ServerGridEditor or here: https://github.com/GrapeshotGames/ServerGridEditor/blob/master/Projects/ServerGrid4x4.json#L8405 I did this yesterday, but couldn't find any Traderships, but maybe I have to search harder/better -)
  3. Sorry I talked about Nitrado Hosting. They use the word "Expansion Server" [1] for additional Servers (e.g. for a 2x2 grid with 4 server you have 1 mainserver and 3 Expansion Server). Nitrado has the bug (or missing features) that you can upload the map images to your main server, but they do not distribute them to the other servers, thats why you have to upload them manual to every server on your grid. I also found out that you have to create/copy the MapImg.jpg to MapImg_small.jpg that the map working ingame to 100% (otherweise when you zoomed out of the ingame map, the map was displayed as "grey fog").   4. You should not have to rename it, like the others said just export it and upload to EVERY server in your cluster. I'm hosting my 2x2 grid for example with Nitrado and I had also to update those files to the Mainserver and also to every "Expansion Server". I even hat to create the folder "ServerGrid" by myself. UPDATE: I had also copy the MapImg.jpg to MapImg_small.jpg and uploading to the server, otherwise the map was stil sometimes gray/BLACK.
  5. While i checked the The Server Grid Editor I saw a references to Squids. Are they already ingame? Any Infos about there aggresive range? Are they like aggressive whales? thx.
  6. Yesterday I removed some buoy (as admin you can even use "cheat destroyall Buoy_BP_C") and then it worked again. There are also 2 option where you can try to lower (default value is 1.0). The first one speeds up the respawn and the second should respawn the ressources closer to bulidings. But I do not have extensive tested this value, try out for yourself ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier=0.5 StructurePreventResourceRadiusMultiplier=0.2
  7. You can use this option in your game.ini, with the first one you can enable/disable complete and with the second you can choose the limit: bClampHomeServerXP=True ClampHomeServerXPLevel=16
  8. Is it good a practice to rollback only a single server (in a grid)? I have this issue right now and will try it - because the other solution would to rollback also the other servers. I'm with Nitrado, they have to backups there (a server backup and database backup), so I assume you have to do both. Drawback is that some player will lose their ship, because the vanish from the restored server and already gone from the other server, but your RIGHT it also could happen that the player exist then on both server Any new ideas/results? Update: Nitrado told me that I should not restore the backup, because then I could get the same error again ?! wtf.

  10. Im looking for an Admin command or a config, to allow all the players (after a server restart) to reset/respecs their skill (or force them). I know with a Patch, this happens from time to time, how I can force this on my server? Usecase: I modified the config, to give the player more skillpoints per level, and after a update, I want to let the players to reset their learned engrams/skills. I know that per Level Update this is possible, but for highlevel player this takes too long. In ARK you could brew an "Mindwipe Tonic", this would work, too!   11. Does anybody knows where to look for the initial skill point set? I want to compare. I see Nitrdao said about 3x (https://wiki.nitrado.net/en/Per-Level_Skill_Point_Multipliers_for_Atlas#Example_code_for_500_Skill_Points), but is this correct?   12. A ugly solution is to spawn an elephant (cheat summon Elephant_Character_BP_C) and aggro it to stamp on the sleeping bodies! But well, I would like to find a better solution, to remove a certain sleeping body or just give us the possibility that an admin can drag a sleeping body away.
  13. I took the existing JSON File, deleted the island (NOT MOVING), saved the file and exported the map. Then I uploaded the files to the server, restart the server. After this I went looking to the old coordinates, made a DestroyWildDinos (to remove some swimming elephants ) and removed some old structures (like a bed or a campfire). After this "cleaning" was done, I could again edit the JSON File, read the island on a new place, save the image and upload all to my hosted server! So important part, was not to MOVE the island and always do restart between the steps. About destroying structures. I used commands from ARK (https://ark.gamepedia.com/Console_Commands#Destroying_Commands). The point is, you cant destroy e.g. all buoy (cheat destroyall Buoy_BP_C) only on a single island (it always destroy all element of the map/server). So I ended up with single destroy every element (cheat DestroyMyTarget). The problem is, if somebody set a flag, I did not found out yet, how you can remove a single flag (we are in PVE). I could only use "cheat destroyall ClaimingFlag_C" to remove all the flag on the full map/server. PLEASE BE AWARE. I just started with this stuff today, and this all are not official information from the devs
  14. I made some test... when you move the island upload the json file and restart the server - then I got those problems. Solution was: delete the island reupload the new json to the server restart the server login/spawn in the empty area and do an cheat destroywilddinos and remove all structures (not sure if this step is allways necessary) reupload the new json, with the "moved" island restart the server Voila! Attention! You can't move structures! This is only marginal tested, so no guarantee

  16. Is there a class name for the buoy available, to make a cheat destroyall on the server? Found out! You can input as admin "DebugStructures" and then you see the class name from the structure you look at. To destroy all buoy you can input "cheat destroyall Buoy_BP_C"
  17. Yes your right, I belive on a 2x2 map this is not really working, 'coz the map space is just to small and the main focus is building, explore and sailing. Anyway thanks! Hey @isaboo if you have a tipp about my last 2 questions, it would be awesome
  18. This bug is also relevant to dedicated server owner. I would like to have a view options where you could configure the respawn prevent radios for buildings & contest flags, etcetera. Also here is a discussion about the "bug" I can also confirm, that deleting a Buoy lets respawn the trees.
  19. What is the Status about not respawning of ressources? As I understand is, that Claim Flags (on Land or in the Water) can prevent in a certain radius also that ressources do not respawn. Even uf I set in the INI Files the Options: StructurePreventResourceRadiusMultiplier = 0.2 ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier = 0.25 BUT it doesn't helped. I remember from Ark that I used the ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier = 0.75 and a few meter away from my base all the trees were respawning (https://ark.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration). Can we use this option, too? Any Tipps? p.s. There is also a bug report here:
  20. The Polar Island (non PVE) could be, thanks for the hint. The PVE I do not believe, but I will remove the island and recheck later. Do you mean that harvest ressources should also work on PVE islands normally? Removeing the Island Restart der Server and later add the Island again should be enough or do you think that a complete server delete is necessary?
  21. A cheat destroymytarget doesn't remove the flag. How can we destroy unwanted flags as admins? I also checked out the the cheat like givetome giveallstructure doesn't work on flags. Maybe there are a set of new cheat commands (like remove flag)?
  22. I had the same question a few days ago: My only solution would set the server to pvp, manually search the player and kill them.. but even with a small grid of 2x2 this is too much work. I would like to have That an admin on PVE Server can kill those player OR like in ARK that a sleeping PVE Player can be dragged away (in the water and dies ) A config option, that sleeping player decay (get killed) after x-days.

I found out that (from the full server map) that on a PVE island we can set this value: IslandInstanceCustomDatas1: PowerStoneIndex IslandInstanceCustomDatas2: 3 I know the usage of the Power Stone for the official map: Question: Is there a Guide how to configure the PowerStone for a custom map? Why the Power Stone are "random" showed on the default 2x2 grid map? Does it help to use those parameter (IslandInstanceCustomDatas..) and should only be used for pve islands? Is this all "Power Stone Setup" anyway use full, for this kind of small grid (2x2) (I would need for every Power Stone a PVE Island (9) and also maybe some Island for the "Endgame" Monster; so in my opinion no way for a smaller grid) thanks for you input!
