Oh man, really hope censorship isn’t as strong as it was in the ark forums m. We all know how that went i have been on a lot of game forums but I have never seen the strict amount of censorship that I have on the ark forums. they said they learned from their mistakes. This is the atlas forum. Let’s see how much has changed. So far not much, but let’s stay hopeful

Wow, you started it off with I am an idiot ok cupcake. Time for a reality check. I didn’t bother with your explanations. wildcard doesn’t do region lock. Not going to happen. Didn’t happen with ark and it isn’t going to happen with atlas. once again, doesn’t matter what you want. It would cost them a lot more money to buy another 300 servers. They don’t have all the money in the world hust because other companies have the money to region lock everything doesn’t mean wildcard\grapeshot does. so regardless of region lock, they won’t be doing small company servers anytime soon either. Yeah ark did it but that was after 12 million copies were sold and they actually had a lot of money. They just had a failed launch with a lot of refunds. The LAST thing they care about is adding more servers right now, rather it is oc servers or small company servers or whatever yeah I am sure your complaints will go a long way Yep they are Asians btw Russians are Asians too

You are right complaints don’t make the decision. The very slow but consistent drop in numbers makes that decision. just like you said the biggest reason to come here is to complain so I am pretty sure here at least the majority do not think they have there money’s worth

Oh nah man, I am all good. This is my hobby no feelings hurt. i thought you were the one that said all these people are trying to shut other people down for some reason. So is it happening or not happening? i have experience with wildcard and that is all I need. Don’t need to play atlas when I played ark for 3 years

That sounded like you were speaking for everybody there man. I see a lot more people complaining on here than praising. Plenty of experience with these devs. Plenty of facts for 3 years and I have given plenty of examples i a lot of threads. Take care buddy

Time means nothing. If you go to a movie and people are talking too much to where you don’t enjoy your experience you can still go get a refund. yes, it is still very over charged. People can keep a product and not enjoy it. That is what reviews are for

Disclaimer: I haven’t bought the game and I don’t okay the game. here comes the hypocrisy. There is no problem with my view point because it isn’t a view point. You basically tried to say I was wrong when you can prove it. They over charged for a game. That is that. And no, I didn’t say releasing an ea game with bugs was unethical. I said charging half of the price of a totally finished game when there’s isn’t even half of the game present is unethical. believe me if they have already released half of the game then they are in trouble already lol. Their prices and their work ethic is what’s unethical. Fine let the game have bugs. What’s not fine is making an update and bringing even more bugs along with it. They do it in ark even a year after official release. These aren’t ea mistakes. They are wildcard mistakes

Are you having a hard time understanding what I am saying or just trying to refute a point I never made. you get to do and feel however you want. The company is unethical for having such a high price for such little content and an unethical behavior. to recap, yes you can do anything you want and feel however you want and it’s all good. A company can’t just do whatever it wants and not be unethical no matter what.

Once again, I don’t use the “fan boy” term lightly and I rarely say it. I have used the term white knight but that is when it only has to deal with the company and not the game itself. I actually see those two terms as different things. i guarantee that I hate wildcard more than anyone here. I also don’t just shit people down. I like getting to know others point of view, because if you ever want to prove them wrong you have to be able to understand where they are coming from. Facts are facts but in order to win an opinion based argument(still possible) you really have to start to understand the other person. when I see people defend the game, I see them wanting to prove they are having fun and have the right to do so in my opinion as well. when I see people defend the dev company y itself, I tend to see them letting their emotions get in the way. So that is the time to strike. ill let people talk positive about the game all day. Once I see anyone defending the unethical and questionable actions of the devs I will most definitely step in every time. That I have no problem shutting down That is completely fine that you are fine with it. I didn’t so you are in the wrong for doing so. This isn’t on an individual basis. also, just because you are fine with it doesn’t mean it isn’t unethical as a whole. Their actions are unethical regardless of people liking or disliking them.

You are right in a sense. It wont happen anytime soon though. We are talking L.P. this to a year before this game actually dies. dont underestimate ark/wildcard fans. The one thing I give them credit for is their loyalty. Ark still has higher numbers so that should say something right there. numbers are slowly dropping for atlas but it will take a long time before they get to the 20k range. i know it will happen just like you, but it is going to take a long while

I would never call someone a fan boy for disagreeing with me. I will however call them that if everything we discuss boils down to the same “it’s ea” crap. Sorry, not a blanket excuse. only some aspects of bugs or server problems can have ea as an excuse. Constant delays and broken patches do not fall under ea. That is user error at it finest. now once the people start defending that, that is when you know they are fan boys and you are justified by calling them out on it

This poll shows a very sad direction the game is going in. Over half are solo(you will be disappointed), almost half live in the tundra(where the hard animals are supposed to be, recruit difficulty incoming), and an overwhelming amount of people think there are too many(supreme recruit difficulty incoming). well you might want less but what I see happening is them making tames more powerful so they can handle the alphas and other predators. They will also raise the level of tames. Once that happens we can all sit back and enjoy ark again because tames will be the single most important factor in the game. I am fine with that. This was never really a survival game anyway

For the time being there is no policy. In about a month or so they might start enforcing it

The fact that is this far in beta means it is almost criminal to charge 25 and now 30 dollars for it. Maybe 10 max. They didn’t even have the decency to charge 10 dollars even though we are testing it for them. they are charging half of the normal release price but this is not even half of the game. Totally unethical Yeah it is better to look at the average which is slightly above 35k. Over 3k less than usual. There is a trend of about 50 less a day so even the kids at school argument doesn’t work because that was the initial 3k decline. The decline is still slow increasing though. Very slowly but still consistent

I have said it time and time again. The last people the devs should listen to is the fan boys. Broken update? Fan boys say “he you are doing awesome, keep up the good work” really? You literally just told them to keep breaking the updates. how do they not see that? If you do a bad job but you are told you are doing a good job then you will continue to do a bad job. Jesus Christ, I don’t know what is wrong with these people. I mean I do actually, it’s denial at its fullest potential, but man blows my mind. this was not directed at you btw

Very true. Even though I hate wildcard that doesn’t mean I excuse the other companies doing this crap either. Pretty disgusted with the industry as a whole right now. and to be honest the players are just as much at fault. They let the companies get away with everything with the whole ea blanket excuse crap. just started playing resident evil 5 with my buddy since he hasn’t played any resident evils before(yeah I can’t believe it either) and man he loves it. now if there is a company that launches near flawless games it’s capcom with resident evil games. Never had one problem with them

Completely agree. In fact arks numbers are always consistently higher than atlas. i was pretty surprised actually. I figured most of arks players would rush at the chance to play the new wildcard game. i guess they realized it would be the same thing so they just stayed with ark. With the current and consistent lowering of numbers my guess is that some are going back to ark. atlas saw the inevitable drop because kids going back to school and work, but I have still been seeing a trickle affect of about 50 or so less a day
