MagicPuncher 29 Posted January 23, 2019 Would like to build a dock out into the water to pull my boats up to for easy access, and cuz it looks cool. But you can only build out so far without foundations, and you can't build foundations underwater. Anyone know any way to get around this? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

No. Start with foundations, when you can't get any further, go with ceilings. They go 3 out and then you need to place a pillar to the bottom. wildbill 142 Posted January 23, 2019 Yes, I build a dock using ceilings and pillars. I start it with foundations at the shore, just above the water line. When the floor pieces will no longer place I use ceilings, when they need foundation support, I put pillars under them. I usually add a few guard rails around the end where the ship docks and some ramps down into the water to make it easier to get on the dock if you fall into the water. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
