so you used the 'Local Export All' option?

Yes, and then copied the files from the export folder to my server ServerGrid folder in /ShooterGame/

I'll give that a shot and re-export my maps. Hopefully there's no issue importing my old .json file to make the map with the same new version.

Not only did it not work, but the server .json files from the new version of the tool made my server not launch at all, thankfully I backed up the originals. I'll give discord a shot another day, thanks for your help.

Ok, we finally got this working on our server. Here's what EACH player did, and I've included images:

Admiral Snerpe's (REINHART's) Map Fix:

1) Verify game files and download any missing files.

2) DELETE the LocalProfiles and MapImagesCache folder in the game directory's "/ShooterGame/Saved" folder.

3) CREATE a new MapImagesCacheFolder in the same location, and also create "ServerGrid" there as well.

4) Inside MapImagesCache create a folder called 19711119 (or whatever server ID)

5) Obtain map .jpg files.

6) Rename them EXACTLY like this, or you will have no map: http://prntscr.com/m4mxgt

7) Double-Check that you have this file structure: http://prntscr.com/m4myjs and that you have the same files from MapImagesCache included in the ServerGrid folder.

😎 Launch ATLAS

9) Connect to any region, and pray to Davy Jones that we've fixed this thing!

Is there anything we have to do on the server side? This still didn't work for me, it makes me think I have something wrong on the server config. Do we need to have the server ID folder in the ServerGrid folder locally? Do we need to rename the map images on the server the same way as we renamed them locally per steps above? I might just try making a whole new server at this point and giving up everything I have to get this working.

Is there a way to remove fog of war server side? At this point we're just about to copy and paste the map grid on our discord and let our players loose. We've tried several different ways and nothing is working with the map. Got a grid, names, just fog.

This is coming from the server owner:

" What made it work for us was a small string in the http. These maps can be hosted thru Google Drive; I use Dropbox. Here's the info I used: https://www.drac346.net/2018/12/atlas-dss-guide-building-map-pt-4.html "

Hopefully this helps 🙂

I'm running a server from home and this happened after I messed around with my config files. I've figured out what was happening and hopefully this will help those that are still struggling.

In each of your server's GameUserSettings.ini file you need 2 lines:

SeamlessDataSocketEnabled=true

SeamlessDataSocketPort=10604

Obviously, change the port number above to whatever ports you've forwarded for the seamless port.

Basically in my case I forgot to inclucde those 2 lines and it stopped sending the map data to the client.

in the servergrid.JSON you need to check
      "seamlessDataPort":

under each grid and make sure the referenced port isn't blocked. if you've exported with tool and placed file properly should just work.

I somehow lost my Fog of War on my map. So everyone can see the map freely. We want it back though. Does anyone know how to add it?

i had this issue and was driving me crazy for about 5 hours the only way i was able to fix it for myself was open do a new port forward for 27030 selected tcp and change the seamlessdataport to 27030 for some reason mine would not allow it on 27000 even though the ports where forwarded

In case anyone has this issue, remove SeamlessIP from your startup .bat files.
