  1. lost on seamless ip I only know of seamlessDataPort, but as long as the orig config(before export using map tool) has the IP configured in the above you should be fine. unsure if lan IP's work over outside, as live map needs outside I would test with lan IP first. if lan IP doesn't work the game server will give you a redis error, also make sure redis server is running. common isuue I saw from lurking
  2. do a search if not found start a thread I'm bored and watching people stream atlas so I around, got mine humming along so far.
  3. seemless is for the map make sure that port is not blocked, you are looking for(if on a hosted by some one these are in ServerGrid.ServerOnly.json): "DatabaseConnections": [ { "Name": "Default", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobar" }, { "Name": "TribeDB", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobar" }, { "Name": "TravelDataDB", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobar" }, { "Name": "TerritoryDB", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobar" }, { "Name": "LogDB", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobar" }
  4. in the original servergrid.json before exporting from map tool you need to set the redis IP's under ("DatabaseConnections": ) to the machine running the DB with correct pass. its kinda like doing clustering in ark but they have a server to handle it now
  5. in the servergrid.JSON you need to check "seamlessDataPort": under each grid and make sure the referenced port isn't blocked by any firewalls.
  6. video card wont help server could prob get away with a TNT2. you could run a 2x2 no prob, just make sure each grid is assigned two cores each. don't know if OS maters but I'm also on win serv2008 datacenter
  7. in the servergrid.JSON you need to check "seamlessDataPort": under each grid and make sure the referenced port isn't blocked. if you've exported with tool and placed file properly should just work.
  8. I'm running a 1x1 with 8-9 islands on a old Phenom 2 3.5 GHz with 8gig ram, eats about 4-6 gig ram, I've heard with the 4 island setup each instance runs about 2-4 gig. so I would say do able if I went the 4 grid islands could run two instances by assigning each server 2 cores would be at 99% ram usage
  9. I found some commands work only after being added under Project > edit in servergrid tool. top right there is an override for defaultgame.ini I've just been putting my stuff there as it will affect each grid and no need to edit each game config manualy per grid.
  10. can't but there is a post to override the level of ship with an experience override
  11. try adding a Freeport island(list stolen from someone else:Jiren Gaming) : Cay_H_WR_E Cay_K_TR_E Cay_J_EE_E Mnt_A_WU_E Mnt_F_ET_E Mnt_J_WT_E Mnt_L_CH_E Mnt_O_CL
  12. I had the same issue, I had moved and rotated a few islands which desynced resource nodes. I had to delete islands except for the port. sail the map without islands and doing a destroy wild dinos. re added islands to map and they started working.
  13. if you pickup RedisDesktopManager you can edit the DB and names haven't tried to change, probably not recommended while game server is up. redis server still needs to be up.
