  1. But you're not an official pvp player... You don't even have the game installed... You do post a lot though (see complain x 400ish), so why bother if you don't even have the game installed? Your 1000 hours are likely on these forums rather than in-game.
  2. Yes, yes you did... Dear Devs, please for the love of whatever you hold dear, do not listen to anything people like this say, good, bad, or otherwise.
  3. Didn't you just say you don't even have this game installed?
  4. And dual wielding Flare Guns! 4th of July baby! Really though, I would like a few baby Seagulls to annoy clanmates with...
  5. Yes a flag claims a whole island. Place the flag on the island you want, put gold in it, ~20 mins or so later, it's yours. Press F1, place it, add gold, wait. After claiming you can adjust when your peace/combat timer is, but you can only adjust it once a week. As for island points, it is based upon number of members in your company. With 6 members you should have plenty to claim a smaller island. The points are on the unclaimed island in the Atlas map. Smaller ones are usually about [37]. If the island is claimed, basically you can do the same thing to steal it. Press F1, place flag, add the gold, prepare for a fight.
  6. Cargo racks are actually something that works right in this game. Example: Last night I ran our transport Galleon 6 tiles south to collect wetwood. With 6 speed sails and a very strong southern wind I was clipping along at ~20knots. Easy and fast. In about 30 minutes of farming, 2 of us and 2 elephants, added and filled 6 cargo racks with the wood we were short of. In that time there was a storm that changed the wind to the north. As I left and turned north I was spotted by a Schooner. As I zoned into the next tile, a lawless zone, there were 3 Brigantines apparently waiting on me. GASP! PIRATES IN A PIRATE GAME!? QUICK! CALL THE DEVS AND COMPLAIN! The wind and racks had me at 10 knots, which was pretty good considering the massive amount of weight I was carrying, but I knew I was a goner if I didn't do something. I dropped 1 box of wood and 2 Brigs peeled off, leaving me with 1 to try and outrun. My speed increased to 12 knots which matched the speed of the triple speed sail brig who was weighted down with his large cannons. He chased me half the rest of the tile then gave up. I gave a portion of my bounty to pirates in order to save my ship. Is this not what we wanted? Which one of you wants to be first to cry that there was something wrong with this scenario?
